Hours had passed since the two had headed upstairs and by now, subtle sounds of steady breathing could be heard inside the room, indicating that the two occupants were fast asleep.

The sky was dark outside but the moon, which looked much bigger than its usual size, was especially bright tonight.

It illuminated the entire room with its soothing brilliance but the young woman laid on the bed was least affected by it.

Reina had fallen asleep a few moments after she had gotten into bed and displayed no signs of being disturbed by the bright light entering this room through the glass wall next to her bed.

However, the same could not be said for the one who was currently resting within her embrace.

The light might not have affected Reina but it surely did bother the cat whose eyes flashed open when it fell on his face.

Little Overlord's blue eyes looked around as he scanned his surroundings but his body continued to remain limp inside Reina's arms.
