375 The Wait Was Too Long?

"Everything was fine before they left for the US," told Eun So as she wiped the wetness on her face with a handkerchief. "He - Haneul - he wanted me to come, but dad would not agree."

"Aunt Mi-Cha had long planned a visit to the US, wanting to see her siblings."

She went on telling what exactly happened base on what she knew. While they were apart, Haneul and Eun So often spoke to each other online. 

Sun Mi-Cha and Sun Haneul had not been to the US for over five years and they concluded it was finally time. Thus, they left as planned without Eun So.

It was there where Sun Haneul had reunited with an old family friend who also lived in the same neighborhood as theirs, Jeong Soomin. 

"From what he told me, the Jeongs had a business venture in the US, so they left Korea. They live in the same community as Haneul's uncle, and that was how they met again," told Eun So.
