417 One Day, You'll See Me

"Oh, looks like we have a new neighbor," remarked Nari, seeing the mansion adjacent to the Yeongs' parked with two huge moving vans. She had stopped running after her second round of jog with Luiz, merely waiting for the others at the front of their gate.

When Chan-Mi arrived after her third run, she panted right next to Nari and Luiz. She also saw possible new neighbors. 

"I can't believe that the American couple sold their home! I thought they loved it here in Korea," said one of their security, also observing from afar. 

Nari and Chan-Mi merely shrugged. They did not know most of their community's neighbors.

"Wonder who our new neighbor will be?" Nari asked. 

"Who cares. We barely make friends out here anyway," said Chan-Mi. "Let's get inside. I'm thirsty."

Just before walking inside the gate, something halted Chan-Mi that she halted her steps. She felt chills on her back, as if she felt someone's gaze on her.
