269 A Promise to Wait

Momentarily forgetting about their secret enemies, Anton and Yanmei came to attend Shiwoo's wedding. It was a blissful gathering of friends and family, especially from the side of the Yeongs and the Shins. 

Finally, Shin Seok and Eun So will take the name of a Yeong. 

Yanmei was completely restless during the entire ceremony, with only Nari on her mind. They could not bring her to the celebration, especially since Dr. Jung advised against crowded and enclosed spaces such as a grand ballroom that was fully air-conditioned.

During the ceremony, Anton had his hand on Yanmei's. He firmly gripped on her fingers, stopping her from tapping her toes. "Mine, calm down. Nari is with mom, Suyin, and a nurse - a very well trained nurse." He leaned over, whispering to her ear, "She will be fine. We can call mother Suyin later."

She nodded and said, "Right. Sorry, mine."
