1 Prologue

Have you heard about Valerians? yes, the ancient civilization of Valeria. Some say that it was a mere legend, a story for children and songs for the bards at the tavern. And there are some who said otherwise, Scholars and historians alike state that Valeria did exist somewhere, and the stories about Valeria may have some truths in it.

As the stories and songs say, The Valerians have immense power that no one on the mortal realm could match. They say that through them, magic was born.

The scholars and historians said that after the fall of Valeria, Endless War began on the mortal world, both the continent of Aldou and Vreyane. Mortals continued to progress, even their war machines and malicious spells. Empires and kingdoms were born and destroyed. And for thousands of years, there was no peace. The war deformed the land, The ground was watered in blood.

Then, the stars rained the earth, a new leader was crowned and an empire restored. Blessed by the high queen of the elves, this new leader formed an alliance with other great kingdoms to destroy their common enemy. Peace was finally achieved.

For their success, a council was made to prevent further conflict of mages. And the order of great mages was born to counter the remaining enemy mages who refused to surrender that survived the war. At the same time, a new school was made for future mages. In hopes of preserving the peace that they had made. The school was named Althrea.

And for Valeria. I can only hope that the stories are only a legend.

"Beautiful sight isn't it?" an elderly man stroked his thick beard, he walked closer to lone man staring at the sunset.

"Yes, though it won't last long" the man replied.

"That's why we must enjoy every second of it" He smiled then stood beside the lone man. A brief of silence as they were both enjoying the sight of the falling sun, The elderly glanced at man beside him then back to the sun.

"It has been almost 20 years after the prophecy of the stars now. Have you found it yet?" The elderly man asked.

"Not yet" The lone man wearing a formless mask answered honestly. The elderly hummed as if thinking of something.

"Tell me, what was the prophecy again" he asked.

"When the stars fall from the heavens for seven days. The spell will break and what you seek will be found. That was the prophecy".

"But I know it will come to me" The masked man continued before the elderly man could speak. The elderly just hummed in agreement.

The sunset ended and the night took over the day.
