Spirit Awakening Ceremony
A whole year had passed since the vow we made and tomorrow we're going to have our spirit awakening ceremony. In this whole year, we just kept on training and sparring against each other and fight with some beast. Well, a weak one at least since we can't really win a battle against a strong 10,000 years old spirit beast but we could stall it. We could defeat a weak 10,000 years old spirit beast which made people in the village shocked for a while but then started cheering for us. Because of our constant time together we get to know each other and started to treat each other as brother and sister rather than a really close friend. Our teamwork is almost flawless from the time hunting together for spirit beast and because of the sparring we do we almost know each other actions just by looking at each other which make our battle capabilities increasingly dangerous as we're fighting together.
In the forest, you could see 2 boys sparring which each other and a girl watching in while setting up a picnic table. The 2 boys are Me and Wuhan who always competed on who is the stronger one and this spar is the last one to decide it since we're tied from sparring over the year. While Xue just watched from the side preparing our lunch.
"This time I would win," Said Wuhan while attacking me from the side with a roundhouse kick. I smirked and blocked his kick then continued to punch him in the gut. "I don't think so." Wuhan falls back and coughed some blood. He wiped it off and started charging to me again. We started to clash again fist being exchanged wind blows everywhere and after a few whiles. I was standing albeit barely and Wuhan was panting on the ground while lying on the ground, his face show satisfaction and said. "It seems, you're stronger than me. In stamina at least." I smiled and pulled his hands to get up. I thought if it wasn't for my memories Wuhan would be an absolute monster to fight with as his battle instinct was absurd. He got up and we talked for a while. Xue then called us to eat lunch, we then talked about the ceremony which would happen tomorrow and joked a little. When it was nearing the end of the day we split up and went to each other house.
In my house, I saw my mom and dad were waiting for me in the living room. So, I come and sit near them. We talked about tomorrow and it seems that my group of three would be doing the spiritual awakening ceremony inside a secluded place since if our spirits are too strong it would cause a commotion which would bring unintended attention towards our village. I wasn't surprised since we 3 are abnormally strong and smart for our age. We talked about some more small stuff and I went to sleep.
~Tomorrow~
Today is a big day for me and my group. Since today is the spiritual awakening ceremony for us. My parents brought me into a secluded place where Xue and Wuhan went to. When I entered the cave I saw a strong protective barrier protecting it and inside were all the Douluo inside the village and my friends with their parents. "This is a place where we conduct the spiritual awakening ceremony to prevent the outside world to find out about our clan." The patriarch said. The patriarch is the other limit/extreme douluo besides my father. He had a spirit body which made him invisible against physical attack which was OP if you ask me. He then swiped his hand and an essence orb appears in the middle of the room. "Sit cross-legged and let me input a little spirit power to initiate the awakening process." We three then sit cross-legged and felt something awaken inside our body.
I felt that I was awakening a twin spirit but something felt is off. I tried to scan my own body for abnormalities but found nothing. So I just forget about it. The process took about 10 minutes, and it was a spectacle to look at. The elders felt something pressuring them and it came from our spirits they wondered what happen but what they saw shocked them.
When we finished the process the elders and our parent looks shocked and told us to test our innate spiritual power. We all had a full innate spirit power which was interesting and we were told to bring out our spirits just to make sure about what happened. Xue had a twin spirit she awakens a spirit eye and a tool spirit in the form of a moon scepter. Wuhan also had a twin spirit he awakens a spear and a shield. While I have awoken a twin spirit which was a pair of swords one and a mirror spirit like my mom. Which was shocking for the elder since it was told that people from our clan had a unique spirit but mine is similar to my mom. We were told to keep the fact we had a twin spirit a secret and don't reveal it only start to put rings in the stronger spirit after we become a title douluo/we're capable enough to beat a 100,000-year-old spirit beast.
We then were sent home to discuss our family name and spirits name since our spirits are unique. But when I tried to get up I suddenly fell unconscious so Xue and Wuhan rush and holds my body. The elder then scanned my bodies and found nothing so they sent me towards my house where Xue and Wuhan immediately come to my house with me.
~Elder perspective~
We all looked at each other with a happy expression and know what each other was thinking.'Another god would ascend from our clan'. It was shocking seeing that each of them awaken tool spirits so strong that it even suppressed our own spirits and each of us is a titled douluo. The more shocking thing is that each of them had twin spirits. But the happiness only short-lived as the patriarch said "The prophecy had come true, calamity/blessing would soon fall upon the continent. All of this would be on the hand of these children" He sighed and looked towards the horizon. The elder remembering the prophecy suddenly stopped celebrating.
