7 Xia Qingyue

{Noah's POV}

When I opened my eyes, what I saw made me surprised and enchanted. The beauty and magnificence that lay in front of my naked eyes were in a league of their own.

Her eyes were crystal clear despite the cold and distant outlook she showed on her face. Her thin brows were curved like the crescent moon and her face seemed to be sculpted from the finest jade.

She had all the things you could ever fantasize about in a woman. Simply an immortal goddess.

'So this is Xia Qing Yue, it seems the creator of the novel put all of his ability when designing her. This marks my first time coming face to face with a xianxia beauty.' I mused.

We continued the staring contest each of us fighting for a dominating stance to see who will succumb to each other's gaze.

I had left the manor and was going to spend some time in my favorite quiet place where it usually made my thoughts calm down. It was like my own designated place. The cold spring and sakura flowers brought me inner peace to stop thinking about obtaining strength all the time.

But today I was honestly surprised by the presence of another person occupying my favorite spot. It was a tall young man who lay there with his eyes closed.

He had a serene and mysterious aura that made him stand out. Sincerely, she had to admit that he was extremely handsome not the effeminate kind but masculine. He had thick dark brows that beautifully hooded his eyes. He had a perfect nose and jawline. His red lips were thin and skillfully sculpted. They looked so inviting that my maiden heart almost shook.

Anyway apart from his highly attractive appearance and unique aura, nothing else stood out from him. Simple. I could not sense any cultivation strength leaking from him. I had a crazy thought that maybe he had a cultivation realm above mine and had restrained his strength. But I removed that notion from my head immediately.

I intensely watched as various expressions appeared on her beautiful face.Anxiety.Defiance.Frustration.Excitement. All alternated on her face.

What I had just done was a simple use of space to immobilize her. She couldn't even muster up her profound icy energy.

Due to our faces being close to each other, I had a certain urge to kiss her alluring and tender pink lips. But I stopped myself from overreaching my boundaries in our first meeting, a little teasing will do it to melt the frosted beauty

"I am asking, why are you looking at me as if I have wronged you?" I whispered near her elf-like ear which elicited a slight tremble from her body.

"Don't you know about personal space?" She retorted.

I moved back so that I could observe her expression and damn, it was a new experience to see an angry cold beauty.

"Personal space, what is that? Something that can be eaten?" I dumbly asked her with an innocent expression. I wanted to hear her outburst.

"You...You simply have no shame. Don't let me free because once I am, I will freeze you to death." She declared a frustrated look on her face.

I was amused and surprised. In the novel, she was usually portrayed as extremely cold but in reality, she was cold, yes, but this side of her was not shown. A childish side.

'Since I am in a good mood, let me show off in front of her and make her realize how reality works.' I smirked while in thought. 'She thought I was a weakling just because I have no cultivation yet. Today I will show her how I can break through realms like taking a piss.'

Honestly, I did not need to show off but a deluded girl like Qing Yue needs to be shown some cold truth if she wanted to pursue her mother. A power greater than what she can imagine.

I removed the space shackles on her and released her.

And true to her intention, she circulated profound ice energy according to the Frozen Cloud Arts, and the surrounding temperature started falling at a fast rate before she concentrated a beam of ice energy toward me.

I watched the ice beam inching closer to me in slow motion and a smile formed on my face. That kind of attack will never reach me.

The space in front of me was erased together with the matter and that included the beam of ice energy.

She stared at me without answering and after a long moment, she finally uttered some words.

"Who are you?"

With those words, silence ensued.
