7 Silver Hair & Green Irises, Spring of Life and Death
A misty fog swirled over the lake’s surface, the man’s face was flustered as he could not see clearly and his long narrow eyes immediately opened wide.
Eyes blue as the clear sky, deep and profound like a bottomless pool!
They seemed to hold the light of many thousand ancient stars, a billion tiny specks gathered, to form a pair of light greenish blue eyes that captivated one’s heart. The colour of them seemed so much like the water of a glacial lake under a blue sky, gradually deepening in layers, but the bottom could not be seen.
But, in the next instant, they were suddenly filled up with a garish red like they had been possessed!
Water sprayed all around, and Mu Tianyin crashed into the shallow spring behind the man, the blood on her body staining the water red.
Her entire person turned into ice, and just as her mind was spinning dizzily before she was about to faint, her neck tensed up when it was grabbed by a powerful large hand in a steely grip, to be pushed under the icy spring water!
With a crack, that strength almost plucked her head off her neck!
“Cough cough!”
Suffocation struck, with half her face submerged within the icy spring water, it choked Mu Tianyin so bad she broke into a heavy bout of coughing.
“Cough…..”
Time and time again when caught in such dire straits, Mu Tianyin’s indomitable willpower had consistently broke through its limits. At that moment, her desperate instinct for survival caused a surge of terrifying power to explode within her who had been barely breathing.
An arm like a viper twirled around that elbow, and she flipped the hand beside her body to pull out a sharp blade. With every ounce of strength her entire body could summon up, she stabbed viciously at the hand clutched around her neck!

A crisp and clear sound rang out. That jadelike and slender boned hand was completely unhurt. But Mu Tianyin’s blade was bent and out of shape. Unable to control the recoil from the powerful deflection, it then tore open the web between her thumb and finger!
Mu Tianyin opened her eyes and her jet black eyes quivered with incredulity. Thereafter, aggrieved, resolute, and many other emotions grew in her.
The pair of jet black eyes then met the gaze of the green irises.
It was not known how he felt was the garish red in the man’s eyes faded away. Meeting with Mu Tianyin’s eyes, the green irises glinted imperceptibly, and without warning, the hand suddenly released its grip.
“Cough cough, cough cough cough!”
Mu Tianyin’s body then fell limply into the shallow spring, like she was almost going to cough her lungs out, as a wave of excruciating pain surged up throughout.
“Pant pant…..”
Mu Tianyin pushed herself up with both hands, her mind in a hopeless whirl as she just gasped for breath.
Her entire body was so numb with cold that she had not realized that her wounds that had been submerged in the freezing water had stopped bleeding, and they were closing and scabbing at a speed visible to the naked eye, as if her body was regaining its vitality like new branch sprout!
Before Mu Tianyin could push herself up fully, her mind hummed and she then fell into darkness.
“Cough.”
Under the blurry misty fog, a tiny stream of bright red blood trickled down the corner of his mouth.
“Whoosh.”
An icy cold splash of water scattered, and his body rocked before falling down right beside Mu Tian Yin, his head of silver hair flowing with the ripples of the water.
“Oh my Heavens! Argh!”
