8 Chapter 8: Discharge and (Intense) Training

A few seconds after greeting each other, he noticed he is not in his room but in a hospital ward. Looking around he saw himself in a rather large ward wearing patient clothes and his left arm injected to an IV drop.

"Miyuki, how did I get here? Did you bring me here alone or what?" (Tatsuya)

He asked because bringing him to a hospital was unnecessary but still appreciated it since his sister is worried about him.

"When you passed out after screaming in pain, I asked the neighbors to help me take care of you but one of our neighbor happen to be a doctor-in-training and checked your condition. He said that you have internal injuries and we should bring you to a hospital quickly. I was so worried you know, what happened? How did you get internal injuries?" (Miyuki)

Miyuki asked endlessly not giving him a chance to explain for a moment.

"Well, I can't really talk about that here. I'll explain to you when we get back, okay?" (Tatsuya)

He said while patting her head.

"Who helped bring me here anyway? Is it the doctor-in-training you mentioned?" (Tatsuya)

Miyuki who was feeling blissful by his patting snapped back and answered him.

"No, it's not him. It's Gorou-san and Touji-san that help brought you here, Gorou-san called the ambulance. Touji-san said he knows a doctor here and helped you get your own ward." (Miyuki)

'Hmm? Issei and Irina's fathers?'

Though he already knows them he played dumb and asked.

"Gorou-san? Touji-san? Are they neighbors?" (Tatsuya)

"Ah! Gorou-san lives 3 houses away from us, he is together with a boy our age but his gaze feels disgusting. Touji-san lives just besides ours, there was a strange girl that dresses as a boy with him and it looks like she is close to the boy that was with Gorou-san, childhood friends maybe?" (Miyuki)

"I see, I have to thank them when we get back. By the way how long was I out?" (Tatsuya)

"Almost about 15 hours. The doctor kept coming back every 5 hours to check on you and everytime his face will have a look of surprise, I wonder why?" (Miyuki)

"Yeah, I wonder why too." (Tatsuya)

Miyuki asked innocently to which he replied chuckling as he already knows why the doctor is surprised.

He always wanted to test this theory but hadn't had the chance to, to test if his ultra-regeneration works passively like when he is unconscious or focused on a battle.

The doctor probably was surprised because his injuries healed up too quickly which was abnormal.

"Anyway, I'll go inform the doctor that you woke up. You get some more rest." (Miyuki)

She was about to leave when he remembered something very important.

"Onii-sama, what do we about the hospital fees!?" (Miyuki)

"Ahhh, that? Don't worry about it. Just call the doctor and I'll take care of the rest."

He smiled and laughed because Miyuki doesn't seem to realize where the money that used to buy clothes, watch a movie and buy food came from. He still has his card with him and they hadn't spend much either so it can cover for his hospital fees.

Miyuki was still worried but still nodded and left to call the doctor.

Tatsuya's POV

After Miyuki left, I began to ponder about the memories and information I received from that little piece of sh... soul in the astral plane.

Recalling the memories perfectly with the help of Eidetic Memory skill, I saw parts of the hidden face of the Yotsuba's. The. original owner of this body was experimented on and when they failed they threw him out like garbage.

He was adopted by a pair of loving couple who only wanted a child but soon after he was adopted they had an accident and passed away. The only thing they left was the house and insurance money.

I felt sorry for the kid and thought that his luck was extremely bad to have these events befall him.

Continuing with the information, it was no different than what I knew from the series except the fact that other low and medium level factions are included.

'This is interesting, I wonder if I can use this to my advantage and try to avoid any pain in the ass problems that may occur around these parts.'

Such thoughts were going through my mind. It didn't take long before Miyuki came back together with the doctor and some nurses, they checked my condition for any anomaly and to their shock, they found nothing. Heck, I was even in perfect condition. I have to thank my ultra-regeneration for that, if it hadn't been there I would have taken weeks until I can fully recover.

I asked the doctor if I can be discharged now since my body is healed, the doctor hesitated for a moment but still allowed us to leave.

During our discussion about my dischargement, Touji-san came to visit me.

Unfortunately, Irina can't come as she was dragged by Issei to play.

I asked Touji-san if he can take Miyuki and bring me a set of clothes to change to as I was getting discharged. He accepted my request and they went out.

To my surprise, it didn't take long 'till they came back and I changed into casual clothes when the doctor came again and said that the papers were done and I just need to pay.

I think I might enjoy this scene.

When he asked me who was going to pay, Touji-san was about to speak up but I was a beat faster and took out my gold card. The look of surprise and shock on their faces was amusing to watch.

They asked me questions after questions on how I got a gold card to which I reply that my grandfather left it to me. They found it hard to believe but still accepted it since they can't ask anyone from my family to testify.

After they calmed down, I paid for the hospital fees and said my thanks to the doctor and Touji-san then me and Miyuki got a lift by Touji-san to my house.

A few minutes later we were dropped off in front of my house and once again I say thanks to Touji-san who just waved it off.

Entering the house, I began to explain to Miyuki about the supernatural and that what I did that didn't seem normal was part of the supernatural called magic, I also revealed to her that she possessed a huge mana reservoir and is able to use magic.

Next day after that I began practicing to master my magic and train my physical body so that I can withstand blows or setbacks from my magic. Miyuki watching me make an effort decided to also train her magic and physical body, well she mostly focused on magic, her attributes to magic are ice and wind which were unsurprising since her magic from the canon was also ice.

The difference of casting magic is instead of having a CAD and the rings that glowed in the forearm, magic particles just surround the body and concentrate on the arm up to the hand and magic will be casted.

Enough about magic, now it's time for some muscled *ehem*. I mean physical training, yes it's physical training. At first I was doing normal training but when I felt that I was reaching a bottleneck, I began to intensify it and add weights on both my wrist, my arms, my legs and my body to test and break my limits.

As time passes my limit is broken many time and the weight of my weights attached to my body increased everytime I do.

But, man-made objects has it's own limit and the weights I used began to feel like air. So I created a new skill that could possibly help me not only in training but also in the battlefield.

Gravity Manipulation - Manipulates the density of gravity in chosen people or places many folds. Can be applied on objects that the user touch. Multiplication of gravity depends on the amount of magic power used.

Yeah, so that's how it is. With the help of my parallel thinking, I applied more gravity around my body everytime and took every chances I have to train my body, not only that I also wore leg guards that weighs 100 kilograms increased by 5 folds.

I have to say that was pretty exhausting but also very satisfying as I can feel my body getting stronger.

After I discover that even moving and inch would be considered training for me, I limit myself to only normal amount of physical training everyday and focused my training on magic.

Since I can use all elements as well as light and dark magic. I always train them all by making a ball of each element float around me rotating each second and I focused on one element in my hand to increase my proficiency in every element faster. Even after I go to sleep I make them rotate under my bed and everytime I feel that it was not enough, I increased it's concentration and condensed it many times.
