6 Chapter 6: Date? and Tragedy

After withdrawing enough cash from the bank, he called Miyuki and together they got out the building. He stayed in his illusion as he didn't want to alarm others and this form will also allow him to help Miyuki buy clothes by pretending to be his uncle or something. Since they will look strange in other people's eyes if he accompany Miyuki in buying clothes as a 6 year-old especially when it comes to underwear.

When Miyuki saw Tatsuya as a grown man she was startled, he explained to her what he did and calmed her down, he told her what this form was for and she immediately understood. She has a small flush on her face when she thought of Tatsuya seeing her in her underwear.

They started walking towards the nearest and also the most famous shopping mall in Kuoh Town. On the way, Tatsuya started feeling uncomfortable inside, he checked if anything was wrong but didn't find anything and just dealt with the uncomfortable feeling with magic power and it slowly died down.

Walking together with Miyuki, they reached the shopping mall and entered looking for the clothing store that sells female clothes and underwear. Inside the mall while Tatsuya is looking around to find the store, some people were staring at them. Well of course they would, they look like father and daughter since they were holding hands and their features were S-class in terms of beauty. Tatsuya in his adult illusion stands at a height of 190 cm, much taller than the original.

Soon, Tatsuya found a store that sells both with the help of clairvoyance in the second floor and pulled Miyuki to the escalator. Reaching the second floor of the mall, Tatsuya acted like how a father would and walked towards the store with Miyuki, he picked clothes that suit Miyuki and made her try it on and bought it, he brought a lot and it made the clothes store manager very pleased and told them to come back again.

If you're asking how the picking of underwear went, he let the store clerk pick with Miyuki while he stood at the counter chatting with the other fathers that were dragged there by their wives to pick cute clothes for their children. The others all thought that Tatsuya was also accompanying Miyuki as her guardian(father) and happily chatted with him to which Tatsuya acted like one.

Done choosing underwear, Miyuki went back to Tatsuya with a bag full of what she brought and he paid for all of it, after paying he bade farewell to the fathers he was chatting with earlier and walked away leaving the store.

He checked the time on his AR and noticed it was still early and asked Miyuki.

"Miyuki, do you like movies?" (Tatsuya)

"Eh? Yes, why do you ask?" (Miyuki)

Miyuki asked looking confused. Tatsuya pointed to a place and she followed the finger. Tatsuya was pointing to a cinema center and she instantly knew why he asked.

"Shall we? It's still a little early to have lunch so might as well spend time watching a movie." he looked at Miyuki "What would you like to watch?"

He saw Miyuki looked like she was thinking but a different idea is going through her mind.

'Watch a movie together? Is this like a date I once saw in movies and books?'

A small unnoticeable flush appeared ion her face and told Tatsuya what she want to watch.

He was surprised because Miyuki wanted to watch an action movie with a bit of romance. He smiled and pat her head before walking to the ticket counter and paying for the tickets, the counter clerk was surprised when he bought the tickets but still did her job while enjoying the view upfront of her.

After he bought the tickets he stopped briefly as he once again felt the uncomfortable feeling inside him get stronger, he once again didn't find anything odd in himself and only increased the output of his magic power to deal with it and it died down once again.

Since they were in a cinema, he didn't forget to buy some popcorns and drinks to enjoy while watching the movie. After paying for their snacks he walked to Miyuki and they went towards the cinema room where they were showing the movie. Tatsuya thought it was inconvenient holding Miyuki's hand high and made an alterations to his magic so that Miyuki will see his real appearance while others still saw him as a man in his twenties.

They entered the cinema room and sat down in their respective seat to wait until the movie begins.

They didn't have to wait long as the movie starts playing after a few minutes. He focused his eyes on the screen and captured every detail of the movie, he wants to find out what Miyuki found interesting in this movie. Half-way the movie he noticed a brother-sister relationship of the supporting characters, though they are not blood related. He smiled wryly and looked at Miyuki. Miyuki feeling his gaze blushed and looked away not meeting his eyes out of embarrassment.

Tatsuya sighed and pat his little sisters' head then focused on the movie. It was quite enjoyable nonetheless and he got engrossed mid-way until the movies ends.

Leaving the cinema, Miyuki still wouldn't look at him, he sighed and took her hand then he walked dragging her with him. Miyuki was startled but soon followed with a small blush and a smile on her face.

They left the cinema and went the food court to have lunch. Tatsuya told Miyuki it was okay to order anything and ordered himself. Surprisingly, Miyuki ordered a lot and their table is full of foods. They finished eating and was about to leave the mall when he felt the uncomfortable feeling get stronger 2 times than the last. He was worried and frustrated since he can't find anything at all inside his body that is causing this feeling. He increased the output of his magic power enough to dominate over the unpleasant feeling and it soon died down.

They walked out of the mall and head back the direction of his house. He didn't forget to scan his surroundings to see if other surprises will pop up but unfortunately he didn't, again. He did saw Soma walking with his mother, Yukihira Tamako, outside the food district.

When they reached an area without much people, he undid his illusion magic.

Passing in front of a park where many children come and play, he saw Miyuki's eyes wanting to play so they stopped by and spend time until almost sunset.

Miyuki was playing with the other kids while Tatsuya is conversing with boys his age about trivial stuff but he didn't dislike it, the only thing that he disliked is the older boys on the other side of the park staring at Miyuki with lustful eyes. He glared at them while sending some of his aura towards them and they quickly went away with pale face and... wet crotches, unfortunately, some were even crying but he didn't care about that and just looked at Miyuki affectionately. Miyuki sensing his gaze looked at him and smiled, waving like an idiot. The parents noticed this and looked at them warmly thinking that they were loving siblings. Miyuki's playmates started teasing her and she was affected, greatly while the boys that were conversing with Tatsuya joked to him saying things like, give Miyuki to them or bestow his blessings so that they can be with Miyuki, they including Tatsuya laughed and he said that if they want Miyuki they will have to experience pain beyond death jokingly. That's right, jokingly.

Few hours passed when they finally decided to go home, Miyuki said goodbye to her playmates, she befriended some of them so she was sad that they will need to leave soon, Tatsuya also said goodbye to the boys and reminded them of his joke earlier, the boys shuddered unknowingly and also said their goodbyes.

The parents also liked Tatsuya and bid goodbye to them too, when they were done he called Miyuki and left the park.

During this afternoon, the uncomfortable feeling kept on getting stronger and stronger as he keeps in increasing the output of his magic power to help him counter the feeling, it reached a point where he started hurting himself due to overuse of mana that he felt like clenching his heart but he did not show it on his face as it would worry the others around him especially Miyuki.

It was at that time when the reached the house and was entering that his whole body started hurting in a lot of ways, he felt a thousand needle pricking his entire body, he felt a hundred vice gripping his body, he felt a lot of blades piercing his body. He dropped down in front of the door and started screaming while clenching his chest. Miyuki looked at him panicked at what she was seeing.

"Gu! Guahhhh! Arhhhh! AHHHHH!" (Tatsuya)

"Onii-sama!!!" (Miyuki)

He reached a point where he can't hear anything, just his own screaming. He tried many ways to deal with the pain but much to his efforts nothing worked. He tried entering astral form when he felt himself blacking out.

"Onii-sama!!! Someone!! Please help my brother!!" (Miyuki)

Miyuki was shouting for help when she felt Tatsuya's body losing power.

"Onii-sama!!!!!" (Miyuki)

Miyuki started crying holding her brother's cold body.
