1 Chapter 1: Crack, Slip and Reincarnation

At a certain highschool on a certain street in a certain city at a certain country. The students were all going home with their friends except for a single boy. Kyle was preparing to go to his apartment and head to his part-time job after leaving the school, he is alone as he has no one to call his friend because he is focusing on his studies and part-time work therefore he doesn't have time to associate himself with others, he may have some classmates he could call 'acquaintance' but he can't classify them as friends.

His father, mother, and 5 year-old little sister died during their sleep while their house was burning as the rescuers were only able to rescue him since he was the farthest from the fire that happened in his parents' room with his little sister, he was taken in by the chief police and took care of him until he regained his calm and decided to live by himself using his own strength and be successful enough so his parents, even if they are not here, can be proud of him.

And that leads us to where we are now, he is so focused on studying and part-time work that he forgot to make friends, he does have hobbies such as watching anime, reading novels and manga, playing games and cleaning.

Currently he is walking from school to his apartment to prepare to go to work when he saw an old lady crossing the road and decided to help her as he has time until his shift starts, he started running towards the old lady when he saw 2 trucks and their drivers looking drunk and swaying in the road, he sprinted faster toward the old lady.

What can happen if you are kind to others?

*honk*

Does it make you happy?

*tires screeching*

Does it make you proud?

*running footsteps*

Do you simply want to make others happy?

*thud*

Or do you feel that it's your obligation?

*slip*

Anyway, this is the result of a certain student being kind to others. He is now floating in an endless void space questioning himself.

"Am I dead?" (Kyle)

Many times and looking around the void, he doesn't know how much time has passed and he is only waiting for something to happen.

Then he question himself again.

"Am I really dead?" (Kyle)

This time someone answered him, "Yes and No". (???)

He looked around and saw a bright flash of light behind him. Coming out from it was a middle-aged man wearing a white robe.

"Who are you... Sir? " (Kyle"

"My name is Cherto, a God, the God of Cycle to be precise." (Cherto)

Kyle was confused "Where am I?"

"What am I doing here?"

"How did I get here?"

"Stop." Cherto stopped him then said "You are in the boundary between virtual space and solid space, you are here because you slipped in a dimensional crack that appears randomly on the surface world when trying to save an old lady from getting hit by a truck, well even if you hadn't saved her she will fine but now that you saved her instead of instantly disintegrating in this space you are still alive.

Kyle was confused 'She will be fine even if I didn't save her?'

"Yes, *sigh* it's better if you meet her directly." (Cherto)

Cherto said then a crack appears behind him and the old lady that he saved appeared from it.

"This is Alicia the Goddess of Life."

"Hello young Kyle~" Alicia said then transformed into a young beautiful woman. She floated closer to Kyle and said "Are you alright? I'm sorry because of me you got dragged into the dimensional crack."

"No no, it's okay, it was my own volition to save you though thinking about it I just lost my life because of that." Kyle got depressed and slumped down his shoulders.

"Ah! About that, I will reincarnate you as per Alicia's request if you don't mind." Cherto said while thinking about something.

Kyle was shocked then looked up "Really?"

"That's right, you can select what kind of world you want to reincarnate to also you can get 6 wishes from us." Cherto affirmed.

"Why 6 wishes?" (Kyle)

"Well, 1 wish belong to me, Alicia here gave you 1 wish and the Goddess of Fate that caused your whole family to die while you survive gave you 2 wishes as an apology an the God of Education is impressed by your focus on studying and gave you 1 wish the remaining wish is given to you as compensation for falling into the dimensional crack." (Cherto)

"So the Goddess of Fate, huh? *sigh* I want to get angry but I can't because there is nothing I can do about it." (Kyle)

"I'm glad you understand, now let's begin shall we? Which world would be to your preference? " (Cherto)

"Can I go to an anime world? No, those world's are ficti-" (Kyle)

"We can you know?" (Cherto)

"I knew it I-wait?... What!!?" (Kyle)

"There are an infinite amount of worlds out there formed by imaginations of living entities such as you so it's possible to transport you to a world of your choice." (Cherto)

"Does that mean you can transport me in an anime world? If so please reincarnate me in the world of 'Highschool DxD' and make me 1 year older than 5 years old Issei." (Kyle)

"Sure we can do than now as for your wishes, state them." (Cherto)

"First can you grant me near unlimited mana? If not then can you give me ultra-regeneration which include my stamina and recovery? " (Kyle)

"Hmm, let's go with the latter as it's more acceptable and flexible." (Cherto)

"Second, I want Immortality, I guess I can't have the un-killable part but the aging part should do right?" (Kyle)

"I guess we can do that, in that regard you can make others Immortal like you by giving them a certain amount of your blood. This doesn't work for those you don't recognize and give permission to." (Cherto)

"That's handy, for my 3rd wish, I want to have the ability to create skills for myself, if it's overpowered I'm fine with it having a cooldown time" (Kyle)

"No, it's fine, you are the only reincarnated there so it's fine to give you this wish." (Cherto)

"Oh, is that so? Okay, for my 4th wish I want to have Saiki Kusuo's powers from the anime 'The Disastrous Life of Saiki Kusuo'" (Kyle)

"That's reasonable as you would need protection upon arriving there." (Cherto)

"I'm glad I thought it would be a dud, alright for my 5th wish I wish for super growth." (Kyle)

"Sure, next?" (Cherto)

"And for my last wish, I wish you make me an orphan as I don't want my relatives to be involved in any supernatural events." (Kyle)

"Okay, that's an easy one, I will also give you a house of your own and money just enough to live for 10 years." (Cherto)

"Thank you for your understanding." (Kyle)

"As for your appearance I-" (Cherto)

"Could you give me the appearance of Tatsuya Shiba from Irregular at Magic Highschool." (Kyle)

"That's a surprise, okay then also I have a surprise for you once you get old enough to explore your neighborhood."(Cherto)

"Thank you very much." (Kyle)

"Now prepare yourself as I'm going to start transporting you." (Cherto)

Kyle's body started to disappear like smoke and he felt something pulling him from behind. He looked around but was unable to find what was pulling him and concluded it must be because of Cherto.

"Bye bye Kyle~ I hope we see each other again." (Alicia)

Kyle thought 'Does that mean you want me to die again?' then completely disappeared.

After he is gone 3 entities came out of a crack in space and looked at Cherto and Alicia, they are the Goddess of Fate, God of Education, and the God of Worlds.

"What are you doing here, Nervana?" (Alicia)

Said Alicia while glaring at the Goddess of Fate.

"I-I just want to see him and apologize to him, b-but I don't know what to do because I thought he might be angry at me"

Said Nervana while looking down, the God of Education interrupted the two of them, "Now now, leave it at that Alicia, Nervana didn't mean to do any of those to him she was just a bit drunk and made a mistake..."

"Made a mistake? She is a Goddess for Heaven's sake and she made a mistake because she is drunk? What do you call that Alex?" Said Alicia to the God of Education.

"Stop, cut it out all of you."

They were stopped by the God of Worlds then he turned to Cherto.

"Is his reincarnation successful?"

"Yes, Michael, his soul is successfully transferred to a body Alicia made in that world." (Cherto)

"That's good, I hope that this would help him somehow." (Michael)

He said while looking at Kyle's destination, seeing him do that everyone present looked as well.
