37 Family Reunion

--Floating Cloud City--

Duo Tian and the group appeared in the outer skirt of Floating Cloud City, in fact, it is the forest when Duo Tian first time respawned from his previous life.

"I welcome both of you to Floating Cloud City. My apologies…Great Ancestor has been visited this place in the past, as for Odd Grandpa, this is the place where Brother Che grew up." Duo Tian smiled and apologized.

--Xiao Clan Mansion--

After Duo Tian left, Xiao Lingxi has been continuing her practice all along. Chu Yueli and Chu Yuechan stayed here because they can't come back to Frozen Cloud Asgard as they afraid the sect will punish them for sure. So, to spare their time, they will occasionally watch and teach Xiao Lingxi in her training. The three of them still not know that the group already here in Floating Cloud City.

Meanwhile, Duo Tian and the group are already outside of Xiao Clan Mansion, fortunately, the guards recognized Duo Tian and Yun Che face so they can proceed with ease.

Xiao Yunhai greets them in the main hall, and after he sees the face of Li Qiye his heart starts to beat faster praying nothing will be happening in the clan. But, for him, seeing Yun Che is even more frightening as the news said he was dead.

Duo Tian said coldly without any hints of respect, "Are Grandpa and the others home?"

"Yes, we would always treat them as a honorable person in the clan." Xiao Yunhai nodded as he point his hand to Xiao Lie Mansion.

Duo Tian nodded as he leads the group to the mansion. Chu Yuechan as the ones who have the highest cultivation in the mansion sensed the group arrival. So she strode out and meets the group, as soon as she looks at the group she is stunned by Yun Che. Having not seeing him for a long time makes her cry as she dashed out to hug him in the chest. Yun Che was shocked as he looks at her then softly pat her head, wondering what was happening just now.

Duo Tian smiled as he left both of them to their own world and search for Grandpa whereabouts. Then he sees Xiao Lingxi drenched in sweat with Chu Yueli correcting the former posture in their training session.

Seeing the group, Xiao Lingxi gasped as she runs to Duo Tian and asks about their condition, but after Duo Tian said they were fine, she finally calmed down. Then she searches for her Little Che, but Duo Tian hurriedly explains that Yun Che in catching up with Chu Yuechan so she can only nod and wait for their arrival.

Chu Yueli then walks to the group as she snorted, "It's good that you are still alive, I think you're going to end up dying in someplace or even arrested by the people from Mighty Sword Villa." Deep in her heart, she was glad that he was alright.

"Oh, Little Li, you're husband can't die early yet because we still don't have our descendant to continue my noble bloodline." Duo Tian smirked as he teases the girl.

Seeing this couple, Li Qiye can't help but laugh, "Hohoho, looks like my predicament came true as both of you this close already. Little girl, don't forget to visit your Great Ancestor as I maybe will give you something valuable for your future cultivation." Then he gives Duo Tian a side glance, he really fond of this descendant of him.

"Great Ancestor is really wise, this descendant humbly requests the Great Ancestor to bless our relationship." Duo Tian smiled, then he started to introduce Yun Canghai to the girls, leaving Chu Yueli face reddening alone, "He's Yun Canghai, my Odd Grandpa. He is the demon that was trapped inside the formation with Brother Che. Other than this, he has another…more important identity," Duo Tian said mysteriously.

"Another identity?" Xiao Lingxi was confused.

"You will find out soon." He said softly without waiting for Xiao Lingxi to question, "Sister Lingxi, is Grandpa home?"

"Mn, he is in his own courtyard." Mentioning Xiao Lie, Xiao Lingxi's expression became eager. She then walks to lead the group. "After us told him that you went to save Little Che he has been worried every day. I wonder how happy he'll be after he sees you."

Suddenly, Yun Che and Chu Yuechan appears as the both of them held their hand on each other, " Looks like you already fix one of your mess, Brother Che." Duo Tian exclaimed.

Seeing Yun Che, Xiao Lingxi running as she hugs him, but after reminded that he still holding hand with Chu Yuechan she didn't hug Yun Che for a long time.

"Little Che, Father has been missed you a lot, he must have been worried about you all the time." Xiao Lingxi said, her eyes glistening with happy tears.

"I also missed Grandfather a lot…Let's go right now!" Yun Che vigorously nodded his head as he pats Xiao Lingxi head, and started walking out of the courtyard with the rest of the group.

The interior of the Xiao Clan hadn't changed much, Yun Che didn't forget where grandfather's courtyard was located in the slightest. He could also remember all the names and faces of the people that he passed by…and when those people saw him, they would be stunned, yell in shock, or would turn aghast as if they had just seen a ghost.

He was getting closer to where Xiao Lie was step by step, and he ignored the exaggerated reactions of everyone in Xiao Clan. Yun Che asked very worriedly, "How has Grandfather been?"

Xiao Lingxi lightly bit her lip as soon as she heard him ask that. This unconscious action caused Yun Che's heart to tighten, and she answered faintly, "After we received news that you passed away, Father was very calm. He had been trying his best to comfort me, and he didn't even shed a single tear. But I know that it must have been very hard on him, it was harder on him than anyone else."

"..." Yun Che held his fists tightly and took a deep breath. He vow that to makes his Grandfather not worried again, he would find his biological grandson. He already has a clue because his blood-related Grandfather is here now. Duo Tian patted Yun Che back as he sighs, "You don't have to worry about Grandpa, I, your brother, already put all your mess in an orderly fashion. You just have to fix it one place at times."

Yun Che always feels gratitude to Brother Tian of him. He would not forget this gratitude in his whole life.

After a while, Duo Tian and the group arrived at the courtyard, the group saw an old man sitting in the middle of the courtyard on an old bamboo chair… His eyes were closed, and he was sunbathing under the sunlight that was somewhat warm. The group slowly walked in. Just as Xiao Lingxi was about to call out, Xiao Lie slowly opened his eyes, looked at Yun Che and Duo Tian, and revealed a joyous smile on his face, "Both of you come back safely."

Xiao Lie was very calm, there was the color of joy and gratefulness in his aged eyes, but there was even more of an extremely thick and heavy grayness. Yun Che walked up quickly and kneeled down heavily in front of Xiao Lie with his palms on his knees. "Grandfather, Che'er is unfilial and caused you to suffer."

Xiao Lie shook his head, smiled lightly, and said, "Seeing that you are alive safe and sound, how would grandfather be suffering. Che'er is a lucky one, you have an amazing brother." Li Qiye was quite surprised to see this as he gently pats Xiao Lie and murmured: "Although your Grandson's future potential is below my descendant, with enough refinement, he is still quite promising. This one loves to see a talented young man became a great figure."

"Thank you, senior." Xiao Lie bowed down again, then he looks at another elderly figure, "Che'er, this is?"

Before Yun Che introduces Yun Canghai to Xiao Lie, the former already bow down in the latter direction, "The Great Demon King, pay utmost respect on behalf of the Yun Family of Illusory Demon Realm to our family greatest benefactor!"

This sudden change shocked Xiao Lie and Xiao Lingxi, Illusory Demon Realm? Yun Family? Could he be?

Xiao Lingxi's beautiful eyes that were gazing at Yun Canghai widened slowly, and her eyes started trembling even harder as she started to piece everything together. "Could he be… so he is…"

Li Qiye then parted with the group as he vanished under the summoner circle light. Yun Che spent his time catching up with Chu Yuechan and Xiao Lingxi meanwhile Xiao Lie and Yun Canghai having an old men discussion. Finally, Duo Tian teases Chu Yueli till the both of them sleep in the grass under the moonlight.
