TTW Chapter 99: I don't have time to educate you (PS Bonus!)

Reiner had found another reason to run.

Lin Yi's smiles was getting on his nerves, but he feared Lin Yi's strength even more.

Without hesitation, he turned to run. Despite receiving Marleyan warrior education since childhood, his self-confidence relied solely on the power of the Armored Titan.

However, Lin Yi effortlessly shattered his armor, exposing him to the imminent threat of death, sending him into panic.

To his surprise, Lin Yi's speed exceeded his expectations. In the blink of an eye, Lin Yi blocked his escape route.

"Roar! (Get out of my way)!"

As a Titan, Reiner couldn't speak, but the Armored Titan roared, seemingly trying to assert its dominance.

The giant, standing over ten meters tall, charged forward with full force, taking enormous strides, showing no intention of slowing down. Its foot, resembling a small mountain, came down heavily toward Lin Yi.

"!!"

With a powerful stomp, the ground shattered beneath its weight, and Reiner missed another strike. But at this point, he no longer cared about that; all he thought about was accelerating his escape while Lin Yi was avoiding him.

"Thump!"

However, in the next moment, the Armored Titan's colossal figure abruptly crashed to the ground, demolishing a large area of houses.

Lin Yi stood firm with a sword in hand, coldly observing the struggling Armored Titan.

Confused, Reiner turned his head to look at the Titan's legs. The steel-like armor covering them had been shattered, revealing flesh and blood with deep wounds, down to the bone.

Within an instant, both of his legs had been severed.

"Roar!"

Reiner couldn't comprehend why Eldians possessed such weapons and monsters.

Driven by the will to survive, he erupted with unprecedented ferocity. The Armored Titan grabbed indiscriminately at its surroundings, seizing a carriage as if it were a toy and hurling it directly at Lin Yi.

"Buzz!"

The carriage hurtled towards Lin Yi, who effortlessly swung his sword, slicing the vehicle in half instantly.

The cut was clean, emitting hot black smoke.

"I thought the Marleyans had trained you all to be fearless warriors. Since you're so afraid of death, do you even know what you're fighting for?" Lin Yi murmured to himself. "If you fear death so much, do you even understand the purpose of your actions?"

Jörmungandr's Blade thrust into the ground by Lin Yi, and suddenly, the sword's blade transformed, with sharp feathers extending from the hilt, swirling around the blade. Hundreds of feather-like, razor-sharp edges shot out in the next moment, as fast as lightning.

This was Owl's Feathers ability, an SSS-class ghoul attack capable of piercing through steel plates, let alone an Armored Titan reduced to a stationary target.

Reiner covered his head, afraid to make any reckless moves. His armor had been easily shattered and pierced, exposing his crimson muscles, which were quickly torn apart.

The Armored Titan's regenerative abilities were strong, but they couldn't rival those of a ghoul. Powerful ghouls could instantly recover from life-threatening injuries, but Titans could not.

After a series of Feather attacks, Reiner had lost all ability to resist. His armor was shattered, and both of the Titan's arms' bones were exposed, with half of his cheekbone visible. He lay helplessly on the ground.

Lin Yi approached the Armored Titan and kicked it, creating a bone-crushing sound. Reiner's head was forcefully twisted 180 degrees, fully exposing the back of his neck.

Lin Yi did not hesitate and swung his sword, easily cutting through the back of Reiner's neck. He then reached into the wound. Accompanied by splattering blood and scorching heat, he pulled out a human figure from the Titan.

"Ah!"

Reiner screamed in agony. His consciousness was clear, but being forcibly separated from the Armored Titan caused immense pain.

His cheeks displayed clear signs of torn muscles and burns.

Why did this person know he was inside?

In the midst of the pain, Reiner suddenly realized something and recalled Lin Yi's earlier actions. This person knew everything about their Marleyan situation.

Shivering, Reiner wanted to beg for mercy, but before he could speak, he felt his body being tilted forward, lifted by someone.

Lin Yi held Reiner's right foot, dragging him along the ground, heading towards Wall Maria in the distance.

Along the way, any Titans daring to approach were incinerated by Lin Yi's powerful flames, showcasing his brutal strength.

Seeing this, Reiner's fear grew even more.

"What are you? Why are you against us Marleyans..."

Reiner could no longer bear it. His face, already injured, was scraped against the ground, leaving him covered in wounds and blood.

Lin Yi remained silent, but they finally arrived at Wall Maria. Due to the Titan invasion, there were no troops stationed here, especially since it wasn't a main gate; it was a relatively secluded area.

Lin Yi lifted Reiner and brought him to the top of Wall Maria, where they could see the horrifying scene of the Shiganshina district. Tens of thousands of people were facing the massacre by countless Titans.

Reiner knew the truth about the Titans; they attacked humans not for survival but to devour them without digestion, excreting the corpses intact.

Thus, the Titans would never stop; they would continue to kill relentlessly.

Explosions, pleas for help, screams, and cries echoed. Although not clearly audible on the city walls, the sound was deafening in their hearts.

"I'm not a good person, and I've killed and manipulated many, but I've never done something on this scale."

Lin Yi patted Reiner's head, his voice suddenly turning colder. "I'm not a good person either, and I'm not here to save or side with Eldians or Marleyans."

"But, kid, you are dangerous, and I don't have time to educate you, so instead of leaving you to roam freely, it's better to deal with you now."

In reality, Reiner wasn't paying attention; he was already in shock.
