The two sisters were astonished, recalling the information they had heard about him.

He was known as a top-class investigator, the youngest quasi-special class reservist, and the most powerful fighter in the 20th Ward branch. These titles were familiar to them.

"Let's go back. Someone will come to handle the situation soon."

Lin Yi turned back and smiled, removing the bloodstains from his shoes and adjusting his collar.

The two sisters and Lin Yi exchanged glances. Their cheeks turned slightly red, but it was hard to notice in the darkness of the night.

The next day, Lin Yi began combat training specifically for the two sisters.

Lin Yi listened attentively, realizing that something significant was happening. After a moment, he responded, "Understood. Keep it low-key."

After hanging up, Lin Yi's expression turned serious. The call confirmed his suspicions, and he knew he had to act quickly.

He looked up to see the two sisters approaching with anticipation in their eyes.

"Sorry, but this mission is highly dangerous, and considering your current strength, I can't guarantee your safety. I can't take you with me this time," Lin Yi explained, disappointment evident in their faces.

However, the sisters remained understanding and didn't protest.

Lin Yi sighed. After a brief hesitation, he reached out and ruffled their heads affectionately, much like petting a cat.

"After this mission, I'll find a suitable task and lead the team for a reassessment. Don't disappoint me again."

"Don't worry, we'll do our best! Right, Sister?" Nashiro said, looking at Kurona.

Kurona nodded. "That's right!"

Young girls could be easily swayed. With just a few words, their enthusiasm reignited.

With a farewell, Lin Yi turned and picked up his exclusive white suitcase, making his way towards the bustling commercial street in the 20th district.
