1 1 Deathless Rebirth
In a vast space filled with bright light, there is a boy at the age of approximately 14. The child's eyes lack any interest in his surroundings. He stares into space waiting for something to happen and it soon does.
"Hmm, this is weird. No one should be here." Suddenly a gender-neutral voice sounds in the boy's mind. The boy looks around, searching for the source of the voice to no avail.
"You won't be able to find me, child."
"Why not," The boy asks.
"I am a god. Mortals can't see a god or they will instantly inflame and turn to ash from the energy coming from our bodies."
"How did I get here; I don't remember dying."
"I don't quite understand myself. This is the first time a living mortal arrived here."
"Can I leave since I'm not dead?"
"You can leave but you can't return to your old world."
"How come?! I apologize." The boy quickly lowers his voice to show that he wasn't intentionally being disrespectful in the god's presence.
"What kind of god would I be if I allow something so small to anger me? The reason you can't return to your world is that your soul is slowly leaving that world so you can only be reborn in a different world if you want," Patiently explains the god.
"I understand. I choose to be reborn in another world," The boy says after awhile. He thinks for a while before making his decision; he couldn't change anything. Even if he could, he wouldn't since doing so might cause him to incur the earth of the god he assumes is currently in front of him.
"Is there anything you'll like to know before being reborn?"
"No," The boy answers almost instantly.
"How about a request?"
"No thank you."
"Are you sure? You might be reborn in a world full of danger," The god informs.
The boy hesitates for a moment before returning to normal.
"Can you erase my memories and replace them with basic knowledge of the world I'm being reborn in?"
"Of course I can and since you're not a greedy mortal I'll give you a little gift. It will help you in your new world; good luck child." As the god's voice fades, the boy loses consciousness.
A few minutes later, the boy regains consciousness. Words appear in his face, slightly shocking him.

The boy closes his eyes and sleeps before he feels a squeezing pain. After being blinded by the light in the room, his head aches to the point where he has one choice but to scream in agony. To everyone else, it looks like a baby crying after being born. His head hurts too bad to hear what's going on around him but he does hear one thing before passing out from the pain.
