99 Chapter 99: Few Last Stragglers

Demon Clan.
The Demon Clan is one of the five major races in the world of Seven Deadly Sins.
3,000 years ago, the Demon Clan constantly clashed with the Goddess Clan due to the bitter rivalry between their two rulers. Their elite group of warriors is the Ten Commandments, who were handpicked by the Demon King due to their power. Many demons consider themselves above those of other races for their great power, especially humans.
Unlike humans, Demons have more than one heart. The number of hearts varies, although upper-level demons have seven hearts. The removal or destruction of a single heart does not incur death, although it is painful. Destroying all their hearts, regardless of their strength, will kill them. Some demons have black markings on their face, which vary from demon to demon.
Because of its many uses, many demons find it convenient to keep their bodies or weapons cloaked in darkness constantly to various degrees, Demons that do such include members of the Ten Commandments Grayroad, Melascula, Derieri, and Monspeet, as well as the highest-ranking demon Cusack.
Drinking the blood of a demon may give non-demons enhanced strength and magical power if they are compatible. If they are not, they will explode.
Demonic blood may naturally or forcibly turn the drinker into a demon themselves, a process that can be reversed either by removing their demonic plant or through the power of the Goddesses.
The Demon Clan is an extremely powerful race, only being equal in power with the goddesses and being sealed by the cooperation of the latter with fairies, giants, and humans. According to Chandler, a demon's power is at least two-fold greater at night.
Members of the Demon Clan share several common abilities:
Power of Darkness: Demons can create and manipulate a mysterious dark substance to enhance both their offensive and defensive abilities. It has been shown to form various weapons and to protect them from attacks that would otherwise cause serious injury. It can also be morphed into various shapes.
Enhanced Regeneration: They can use their darkness to piece together an injured demon's body and mend grave wounds but are unable to regenerate destroyed hearts and any damage sustained accumulates unless one of them is similar to an immortal.
<Purgatory Fire>: A powerful, dark flame that never extinguishes and is capable of negating regenerative abilities. It also can be invoked in the form of enchantment.
<Soul Stealing>: Demons are capable of forcing the souls of living creatures even other demons out of their bodies either by chanting an ancient spell to do so in mass or by simply touching the person whose soul they wish to take. Although, it seems stronger-willed souls are more difficult to steal. Eating souls allows them to replenish their magic and also gives them access to the person's memories but will destroy the soul itself.
<Indura Transformation>: A secret taboo skill, only known to and allowed for a few of the highest ranked demons, such as the Ten Commandments. The user makes a contract by sacrificing six of their seven hearts, their original form, and their ability to reason in exchange for great power. It can only be performed by upper-level demons, and one must have a power level of greater than 50,000 to perform the technique without dying. Once transformed, the Indura will not stop until every last bit of its life force has been used up.
Control of Lesser Demons: Higher ranked clan members such as Chandler, Cusack, Zeldris, Gloxinia, and Monspeet are shown to be able to command lower ranked demons into doing their bidding.
Flight: They may also use their darkness to form wings, helicopter-like blades, or simply for levitation, allowing them to fly.
Possession: According to Sariel, high-ranked Demons, like Goddesses, can take human bodies as vessels and use them as their own. However, the vessel may have difficulty hosting these Demons, leading their bodies to undergo transformations or some abilities that are left behind. Unlike Goddesses who possess someone by consensus and use their abilities through the vessel, Demons possess by force and usually are unable to use their authentic power but that of the vessel.
Lifespan: Demons, unlike Goddesses and Fairies and Giants, are only capable of living 1000 years. Despite this, however, demons commonly like to mock humans for living so shortly when they in fact live the second shortest compared to all other races.

~Jason POV~
Whoa…

Since I have time, I had already begun to cook some food waiting for the machine to cross-reference my strands of D.N.A. with a high noble like Meliodas.

Took some time but I finally managed to cook up a great feast. A bit much in my opinion but at the very least though it should by calculation be enough to satisfy a few demons' stomachs.
That was when I see Asura come out to sniff at the food as he began to get a plate to get his portions. That was when I realized somewhat embarrassed that he might have listened in to my sex.

Melascula nods her head at this as she bows her head in understanding as I glanced over to Aiba as she nods her head and began to explain, "No worries Jason sir, Derieri managed to hear and feel what happen to her. Let's say you managed to subdue the two into eternal loyalty after the stuff in bed. I know I felt sore with you doing it on the back. Hahaha."

Entering another part of the room the two demon girls looked surprised as they see a group of old men tied down to a pod having their memories extracted and being motionless as their eyes remain blank meaning the brainwashing worked.
Smiling at this Aiba made her conclusion as she responds with a laugh flying above the ground as she speaks, "Oh… so that's the next step? Using these men to rob the Belialum research and what else?"
At this, I merely smirked coldly as the two looked interested in what I would do next. Since I have long learned my lesson with Chaos encounter I came to a serious conclusion of sorts out of my ways traveling the worlds I have been going to.
Why do I try so hard to let everything around me follow as scripted?
I always made sure not to mess with canon too much but after encountering Chaos and a reality check of higher-level beings taking notice of me. I finally learned I shouldn't hold back anymore on anyone… good guy or not.
I have been too soft in my approach as well as put my feelings in doing the right things and what I shouldn't do. But if beings like Chaos are going to stop me one day… then I need all the power boost I need to survive… even if it means I become the bad guy in other worlds.
So, what is the next step in this world next?
Simple really…
I'm going to make sure I get Merlin <Infinity> and watch how the Demon and Goddess Clan kill themselves while I assassinate anyone to end the war early in my favor.
Sometimes I guess I have to be heartless at times to get the job done.
