6 Coopers' Arrival

{Galveston, Texas, Barrington House}

Catherine opened the door only to see Mary Cooper, her husband and the three children behind.

She immediately hugged Mary her best friend who has been supporting her since high school.

"Mary, I'm so happy you're here! Dani would be thrilling to see you guys in his birthday!"

Seeing her bestfriend's excitement, Mary couldn't help but respond back enthusiastically.

"Why would I miss my godson's birthday! Ofcause I will come!"

"Dani, Shelly and Missy are here!"

Catherine called her beloved son who's in the kitchen.

"Yes, mom! I'm coming!"

Daniel came running with a small apron on the front. Seeing this, the Cooper family was surprised.

" Dani boy, Why are you wearing an apron?" George Sr asked as he was curious what a six years old is doing with an apron. Hearing this, Catherine replied instead of her son.

" Well...Dani wanted to help me prepare for his birthday so I bought him an apron to not dirty his clothes."

Hearing this, young Sheldon's stoic expression changed to excited one.

"Dani, are you making cookies?!"

"Yeah! You want to eat one? Follow me." Dan responds back with a smile as he turns back to the kitchen.

After one or two steps, his body stops as he turns back and look at the little girl who was looking at him behind her father.

" You too, lil missy." Hearing this, Missy's face brightens for a moment but then she pouts hearing Dani call her nickname.

"I'm not little! You're little!"

"Fine. Big missy, then. Come with us, big missy." Dan chuckles seeing the girl's expression. Although he wanted to avoid Missy just like Sheldon at first, He realised that both of them are just kids. Avoiding them just because of their unique characters is quite unfair for them.

Not just him, even the system agrees with his thoughts.

Since then, he no longer avoided them. He started treating them like his own siblings...

"Dani, these cookies are so good!" Missy complimented as she chomps one cookie while her other hand is holding another.

"I agree with Missy. Although not as good as Meemaw's." Sheldon chimed in with a cookie in his mouth.

Dan was a little bit pissed hearing Sheldon say his is 'not as good'.

"Oh, You don't like it then, Sheldon? Hmm, Missy can take the rest then."

"YAY! Thank you, Dani!" Missy cheered as she run up and hugs Dani.

"No fair! Didn't I just compliment your cookies?!"

"You said it's not that good."

"That's only because Meemaw's is better..." Seeing the little boy downcast, he stopped teasing him.

"Fine... You can eat the cookies." Then Daniel turns his head towards Missy who's now looking sad and pat her head.

"Missy can't eat everything anyway, can you?" Dani lowers his head and looks at Missy eyes with a smile plastered on his face then pats her head.

The frown on her face moves upward and start changing into a smile. Missy nods rapidly as she look at Dani. Then she turns immediately towards Sheldon whose hand was reaching out to take a cookie. She squints her eyes and stare at Sheldon with a frown.

"Sheldon, you can eat SOME of the cookies."

Sheldon gulped seeing Missy who looks like she might beat him at any moment.

"A-Are you sure? Your face doesn't really Indic-"

"JUST EAT IT" Missy shouted before her brother could blabber.

"Fine!" With an annoyed look that says 'why am being treated unfairly' Sheldon picked two cookies from the plate.

Dani can't help but shake his head as he looks at the interaction between the twins.

'The book said twins are closer than normal siblings. They look like they'll kill each other at any moment..'
