As Ye Qingle settled in and watched the TV in her room, Lu Xifa sat absent-mindedly on her bed beside Ren Weiwei.

Her mind went back to the conversation before Ye Qingle arrived. Ren Weiwei mentioned Lan Xiang out of nowhere.

"...That's right. Not only is Xiang my cousin's fiancé, he's also Weiwei's crush. For me to fall for him, will only end in heartbreak.

"But, I still want to spend as much time with him as possible."

A call came in. It was from Zhang Xiaoqin.

"Xifa, can you fetch us now? Xiang looks really tired... Thanks~"

Lu Xifa stood up and opened a rift.

"Hm? Where you goin'?" Ye Qingle glanced at Lu Xifa.

"Um, shopping." For some reason, Lu Xifa could not tell the truth. She stepped into the rift without a second thought.

On the other side was Zhang Xiaoqin and Lan Xiang.

"You're here! That was really fast!"

Even though she had seen it many times already, Zhang Xiaoqin would still get surprised each time Lu Xifa emerges from out of nowhere.

"Wait, Xiang. You stay here, I'll take her first."

Before Lan Xiang could have a say, Lu Xifa grabbed Zhang Xiaoqin and went through a brand new rift. A few seconds later, she was back.

"Ah, Xifa, thanks really."

Lan Xiang had already taken off the ring as it served no purpose while he wore the cloak.

When Lu Xifa caught a glance of his face under the cloak, she quickly turned away.

'Why am I blushing all of a sudden?' Even she herself couldn't understand it.

"Hey, Xiang..."

"Hm?"

"What if he hang out? Just for a short while." Scared that Lan Xiang would reject, Lu Xifa continued, "Just think of it as transportation fees, er... I mean..."

Lan Xiang almost laughed. "Hey, why're you being so awkward now? It's fine, where do you wanna go?"

"I mean, here is fine. Let's just walk around."

"But we already explored this entire area?"

"We never really explored it properly... We were searching for something last time. This time, let's visit the stalls one by one."

"Hm, sure, why not." Lan Xiang shrugged. He was already familiar with this street, but for Lu Xifa, who came from Pei Luan, all kinds of stuff here would be foreign to her.

Lan Xiang thought it would be fun to see her reactions on certain things around.

Hearing his agreement, Lu Xifa did a little victory pose inside her mind. A little grin seeped out of her mouth.

"If I didn't know any better, I'd say you're asking me out on a date!" Lan Xiang suddenly spoke.

"Ha... haha..." Lu Xifa froze. The grin hurriedly made its way back deep inside her, never to be seen for a long time.

They started wandering around Wuji Street. Needless to say, it wasn't really a good place for a date. Nonetheless, the two had fun.

In front of them was a fish ball hawker.

"Hey, Xifa, pay for your own portion."

"I was gonna do that anyway." Lu Xifa rolled her eyes. "How much are these?"

"5 a piece." The hawker interjected.

"5 dollars? That's really expensive." Lu Xifa took another glance at the stall. There were tons of customers, all of them eating fish balls, from one to even ten on a stick!

These must be infused with some kind of expensive ingredient, Lu Xifa thought.

"No, not dollars. Cents." Lan Xiang quickly corrected her thoughts.

Lu Xifa nodded in realization, and then looked at Lan Xiang.

You're really asking me to pay? These are so cheap, I don't need you to tell me! She shook her head.

After sticking one of the balls and dipping it in the sauce, she took a bite.

"Mhm..."

Although quite hot inside her mouth, Lu Xifa thought it tasted pretty good.

While calculating in her mind, she grabbed a few more and ate them all.

In the end, she spent a dollar and some change.

Lu Xifa took her wallet out and opened it.

On the right side were all of her cards, inside were bills and coins, and on the left was nothing. An image would be appropriate to place there, but she didn't really know what to put.

"Hey, Xifa, hello? Earth to Xifa?"

Hearing Lan Xiang's voice, she got an idea.

Lu Xifa quickly took out two dollars and paid the vendor.

Lan Xiang glanced at the sun. "Xifa, the sun is setting. Let's hang out tomorrow."

Lu Xifa widened her eyes. That fast?

With a click of her tongue, she grabbed her phone and opened the camera.

"Okay, last request, let's take a picture. I don't really have any of you."

"Sure."

Lan Xiang smiled a little bit on the camera, while Lu Xifa had a stiff face. She tapped the capture button, and the timer counted down.

When he glanced at her face, he let out a laugh. "Why are you so stiff? You look so ugly! Hahaha!"

Lu Xifa furrowed her eyebrows. "I'm not stiff though! I'm a natural at this!"

She showed off her prowess, displaying a confident smile. Lan Xiang matched her confidence with his carefree grin, inching his face closer to hers.

All of a sudden, the flash of the camera entered their eyes, blinding them for a split second.

"Ah? It only took a picture just now?"

"I forgot, I put a timer on!"

Lu Xifa opened the recently captured image.

"Ah, it came out pretty good anyway. What can I say, I'm just photogenic."

On the other hand, Lu Xifa fiercely blushed as she saw the picture. Their cheeks had touched briefly, and the picture saved that moment forever.

"Let's take a more normal one."

"Ah? But I like this one."

"I, I'll keep it, but it's too weird." Lu Xifa couldn't tell him that it was too much stimulation for her heart.

A moment later, they got a relatively normal picture. The two went their separate paths, Lu Xifa sending Lan Xiang home before she herself went back to her bedroom to send Ren Weiwei and Ye Qingle away as well.

As for the photo, she secretly got it printed, wallet size, drew a heart around their faces, and fitted it into the wallet which no one would ever see.
