Lan Xiang spouted a jet of water from his arm that drilled through the solid ground!

Lan Xiang formed a boulder and threw it into a mountain, and the impact caused a minor earthquake!

Lan Xiang generated a gust strong enough to blow away the clouds in the sky!

As a finale, Lan Xiang grew a tree stump and sat on it leisurely. He also grew one in front for Lu Xifa to sit on.

At this point, Lu Xifa was already blown away. She felt her body walking towards the stump to sit and rest both her body and mind.

"So? You believe me now?"

"Yes..." Well, Lu Xifa was telling a half lie, as even though she had just witnessed it happen right in front of her eyes, disbelief still manifested in her brain.

Nevertheless, she had no choice but to believe that it happened.

"Wait!" Lu Xifa just thought of an urgent matter. "Does that mean... my Lu Family Technique..."

Lan Xiang easily tore a rift in midair, giving another huge shock to the already dazed Lu Xifa.

Lu Xifa then recalled the conversation they had that day.

""Why don't you learn the technique yourself..."

"You won't take it back after a second?"

Lan Xiang, once more opened a rift. It was a bit wider than before, a result of his training.

He grabbed a pebble and threw it inside.

After a few seconds, the pebble popped out of the ground.

"Ah, you can teleport objects already." Lu Xifa couldn't believe what she was seeing. It had been what, only one day since she gave the manual to him and yet he could already do what she achieved with years of training??

The difference between fellow humans...

"Yeah, but that's the problem. It takes too long to reach its destination. Not like yours which is instantaneous. I don't know the reason behind this, so I have no idea how to fix it."

Hmmm, should I help him or not? Lu Xifa was torn. On one hand, it had been her who allowed him to practice her own secret technique, but on the other, it was still a family technique. She couldn't share it with anyone else other than family, not even her closest friends.

Seeing Lu Xifa being indecisive made Lan Xiang dispirited. She's hesitant to help me, is that it? Hai, well, it's understandable.

"Xifa, it's fine, you don't have to help me with this. I'm being selfish, here is your book back."

Lu Xifa saw the pitiful expression on Lan Xiang and bit her lip. "Okay, I'll do it! I'll help you."

Oh geez. How feeble am I?? Lu Xifa was worried for the future generations of the Lu family.

"Ah, really?" Lan Xiang was genuinely thinking about giving up on this technique if it meant hurting a friend of his. Therefore, Lu Xifa's decision pleasantly surprised him.

Lu Xifa opened up a portal and inserted her hand inside before pulling it back out. The entrance rift disappeared, while the exit was nowhere to be found.

After a few seconds, the rift appeared behind them, and Lu Xifa's hand came out.

"!!!" The show of technique impressed Lan Xiang. "You can duplicate your hand with this? Wait, does that mean you can duplicate anything with this?!"

He was really shocked. This was way too OP, what the hell!

What if he put, let's say, a donut in, pulled it out and ate it, and when the rift appeared with the donut in his hand, he could eat that as well?!

"Ah, I also had those thoughts when I was inexperienced like you. Unfortunately no, it doesn't work. If you try to duplicate something, the copy just disappears. I really don't get it, maybe the universe senses something wrong and corrects it?"

Lan Xiang and Lu Xifa sighed. Such a cool potential feature was nerfed even before they got a chance to use it.

"Hai, let's get back to the topic at hand. Your problem right now is that you have little to no control over the transitional space right now and so, you end up extending it at random, so much so that the delay ranges between just a few seconds to a few hours."

Lan Xiang nodded his head. She really hit the nail on its head.

"The solution for this, hmm... I don't know if it'll work since your qi is formless but try doing this..."

After giving the set of instructions to Lan Xiang, he inhaled and exhaled to prepare himself.

"Haaap... fwoooo."

Once again, he sliced the air, but this time, with the advice that Lu Xifa gave him.

"Direct my qi here, and lower the amount I'm emitting..."

All of a sudden, as he finished opening the rift in front of him, another one opened behind him. He glanced back and forth with joy.

"Haha, I did it! Easy~"

Lu Xifa was dumbfounded once more. What took her a good few years of training to master, she only got to watch him struggle over for a half a minute.

Maybe the reason it worked so well is that his qi is formless. Yeah, that should be right...

She desperately gave herself a reason.
