I scrolled down this unfamiliar interface in front of me nonchalantly.

I couldn't do it but I even tried to whistle because that's what the carefree type of strong character usually did.

[Swords Mastery] Passive - Lv: 1 ~ 50

Grade: C

Thrust, slash, and hack, the basic sword moves flow in your body, turning your flesh into a sword-natural body.

I think it is cool. However, not cool enough. Moreover, I think these skills seem to be much easier to learn compared to other skills.

[Demonify] Active - Lv: 1 ~ 100

Rarity: Rare

Grade: C

By demonizing your body, you strengthen it and release enormous mana unreleasable by normal person.

Note: what in is it to losing your mind, compared to losing your life?

Demonizing is usually cool in any fiction story. Moreover, if I use this skill, my hair may turn into silver/white, which my edgy youth sought so much in the past.

The problem is, the note said that I will lose my mind. I wrote a similar character in my [Holo Alter] fanfic but hell it was a pain in the ass to deal with.

Not to mention, by being a 'dangerous person who can lose his mind anytime,' no girl may flock in, not even once.

Rarity: Uncommon

Grade: C

Enable you to see anything beyond the limit of human eyes.

Active: If you concentrate on it, you can see the object move slowly.

Note: The eyes that are slandered by many as 'useless,' gives the owner the eyes beyond their racial limit. But can your body withstand its power?

I think I've found my skill. Clairvoyance, you are my destinied skills.

Mangekyou Sharingan, Byakugan, Rinnegan, The Geass, Senrigan, Emperor's Eyes, Mystic Ryes, I forgot the name but, Adam's Eyes.

Every character which possess the eyes-related ability succeed on turning into a badass character.

So in theory: eyes ability = you turn increasingly badass… and with how cool you are, girls would be flockin on your way.

Formulating this perfect plan of mine, I chose [Clairvoyance], and then the system notification came out without a warning.

'Huh? No wonder this clairvoyance was slandered as useless. With their skills slots online, I doubt not many would waste it on a skill that only strengthens their eyes.'

'After all, even if you can see it with your eyes, if your body can't react to it, it would be meaningless. It makes sense... But I was different!'

Having read many mangas and even written some novels, I was confident that I could turn this skill to great use.

"Hahaha! I am different from those guys!" Albeit no offense, I laughed over the notes

At this point in time, I genuinely thought of showing how great this skill can turn out to be.

After looking at the skill, I tried looking over my stats until I heard a high-pitched scream.

"Kya!"

'There it goes! A princess in the damsel scenario!' looking forward to the encounter, I quickly ran toward the source of the huge sound.

It was inside the forest but more than that, I was focused on saving the person who screamed. If my prediction was right, the person seeking help is a princess.

"I have come for reinforcement!" Unbeknownst of what to say in this kind of situation, I tried the usual call.

"Is it adventurer? How reassuring! Please defeat the orc! My knights have injured it gravely in exchange for their lives." the princess' dialogue was a bit weird.

But honestly, whatever she said didn't enter my mind.

Because in front of me, was a colossal 3 meters green-colored bulky unit. At first sight, one might misunderstand it as fat.

But upon closer look, one would understand the fat flesh covering his body was a sturdy muscle that normal swords mightn't even pierce.

In exchange, me? 19 years old. NEET. Unhealthy untrained body. Heavily breathing due to exhaustion. So scared that my body won't listen to what I say.

I think I peed a little and I wanted to run right now. I even regretted a bit for coming here just because a girl asked for help.

But since I came here for her, I should try to answer her expectation. As much as I hate it, I should take the 'responsibility' for raising her hope.

"Please the sword!" I said to the princess and she threw the sword of a fallen knight at me.

I caught it in an amateurish way and tried calming my shaking heart. I had a hunch... No, I was sure that my fist would never work against this bulky orc.

The orc only took a single look at me before looking back to the girl.

"So not even regarding me as an opponent..." I quietly murmured. It humiliated me, but more than that, I felt assured.

I felt assured that at least until I attack first, it will continue to ignore me. I wanted to run away right now...

But the woman's eyes were strangely shackling me... If I ran away here, she will die, and I had a certainty that my life will return to what it was before I was transported.

"Raah!" as if to squeeze every bit of strength in my body, I shouted as I swing my sword toward the orc.

I gripped the sword so strongly causing my flesh to redden. When the blade made contact with the orc's skin, not to mention slash its flesh, it didn't even pierce the orc's injured skin before the sword was deflected.

As ashaming it is, my hand couldn't endure the recoil from the blade. I've lost a weapon. To make it worse, I've got the orc's attention.

"You weak human!" the orc angrily yet, bravely shouted toward me. The blood that came out of its body combined with the sheer aura it emitted caused him to look so intimidating that I almost lost consciousness.

<Cl-Clairvoyance!>

Feeling a danger... Or rather, seeing the obvious upcoming danger, I stutteringly activated my [Clairvoyance].

The world become increasingly slow but it wasn't enough. Even under the effect of [Clairvoyance], the weapon the orc held, a giant axe disappeared in a blur like the service of a professional tennis player.

Although my body successfully shift the blow of the axe, it was only possible because I was able to barely 'see' the orc's attack.

Moreover, since the orc was injured that I was able to not die from how one attack.

Just as I thought I was able to dodge the orc's attack, I suddenly felt a stinging pain from below my neck only to find out diagonal slash mark on my chest.

My clothes were shredded along with my flesh and I could even see the bone popping out from it.

"It hurts," I cried from the overwhelming information that was sent to my brain. It was stinging. It was lingering. It was hot.

From my chest, I could directly feel my life leaving from within my hand.

"I... don't want to... die..." I silently hoped for the blood to stop coming out. I sincerely wished for someone to save me.

But from the corner of my [Clairvyance], I saw the girl silently leaving the spot, careful and slow enough not to be noticed by the orc whose attention was fully on me.

"S...ave me," with a despairing eye, I fully understood the reversal in our situation as I hoped for her help.

'Please don't leave me out here alone.'

'It hurts.'

'Stop this burning pain.'

'Whoever it is... Please stop this.'

'I don't want to die just yet...'

"Human, you waste my time!" the orc said raising his axe high-up.

Then... The sound of flesh being cut off resounded through the entire area.
