49 CHAPTER 49

Right after Zary shut the door closed behind her, she slid down to the floor, hugging her knees to her chest. Sitting there, she thought back to what had happened earlier.

Aron had tried to kiss her, and she had let him as she was curious too at how it would feel kissing a real man. She thought that there was really no real reason for her to chicken out and shove him away. She thought that maybe the universe was giving her the chance to experience it again and this time with a real human before she dies. Or maybe she had just wanted to know if a real human kiss would not scare her.

She was so nervous she did not know which of the two were the real reason she had let him kiss her. Maybe both. Maybe, there was a different reason. But in the heat of the moment, she was not sure.
