2 Chapter 2

Neron, full of excitement, quickly clicked on the icon with the "x" symbol, closing the view of the information window about the received reward.

Then he opened his inventory again, and an item with a red, mythical color caught his attention.

The miniature was two wrenches with a black background, it didn't look very effective, but as a Mythical skill in itself, according to Nero, it didn't need anything else in terms of appearance.

The options that appeared after clicking on the thumbnail were no different from the previous ones. However, after pressing "open", Nero felt a rather strange feeling in his body, reminding him of drinking really strong alcohol on an empty stomach. The warmth spreading through the body and the strange feeling in the mouth were almost identical.

However, despite his expectations of receiving any ability of this type - perhaps a surge of knowledge, a feeling of power, or some visual effect in the form of lightning - he felt nothing more than a warm feeling.

This confused him a bit, but after thinking about it for a while, he realized that this skill might not be of that type. It may be something else. Since the name of the skill clearly emphasized the inspiration from Minecraft.

So, without waiting too long, he decided to look into the status and take a better look at not only the skill itself but its representation in the status. Because even though he hated it in the fanfics, i.e. the system, he was enthusiastic about experiencing it for himself.

Status

Name: Nero Firebones

Species: Human

PP: 300PP(Power Point)

Skills:

-Supreme craftsman(?)

Honestly, seeing his status, Nero felt mixed emotions. From a practical standpoint, not presenting his physical stats in numerical terms took away some of the fun.

Because seeing his statistics in a numerical form, he would automatically be motivated to increase each aspect by at least a few statistical points. However, now having only Power Points at his disposal, he wasn't entirely sure how to feel about it.

Because basically Power Points represent the power of a given creature or item. However, in the case of creatures, the amount of PP does not fully determine whether a person is above others.

For example, based on the fact that an ordinary human has PP below 500 PP, when standing in front of an ogre who has power points above 1000, the human should not be able to pose a greater challenge to the ogre. However, a human can have an arrow that can pierce an ogre's skin and is filled with anti-ogre venom. So even despite the difference between them, a creature with low PP is able to defeat a much stronger creature.

Although having a general approximation of power is a nice change.

"If only I had the power to see other beings' Power Points."

After briefly reflecting on the uselessness of his status to a greater extent. Nero decided to click on the small icon right next to the name of his only skill.

[Supreme craftsman]

Mythic rank skill. It allows the user to summon a crafting panel with an additional recipe panel. The skill in the initial phase does not offer impossible recipes. But it gives the user recipes by integrating with the inventory. The more the user develops the range of materials he has, the greater the chance of obtaining more and more powerful recipes. Activation method. A skill activated verbally by saying the phrase "Craftsman Menu", or by the user's thought to open the Craftsman panel.)

,,The description is quite understandable and if I think about it correctly, it can be annoying at times. Because if I understand this correctly, some blueprints may require specific unlocking requirements. Whore. Let's see what it's all about."

The panel of his new ability, to Nero's surprise, was actually quite peculiar. I mean, the crafting menu looked like inventory, well, not really. In addition to many, there were up to 16x16 places for items and there was even an option to increase places for crafting elements. However, next to the mentioned item windows there was an arrow and next to it there was one empty window. In which the final effect certainly appears.

The skill panel itself, unlike the equipment and everything else that was still levitating in front of his face. It was gray, almost black. This was quite peculiar, but it made it clear that the gray panel was a result of his own skill and not the chat.

The new gray panel, of course, also offered additional recipe functions. Which, after pressing the book-shaped thumbnail, activated a new, separate panel with a list (currently empty) containing recipes.

When using this skill, from Nero's perspective it looked like this. Centrally in front of Nero, there was a gray panel with crafting, to the left of the crafting panel there was a gray panel with recipes and on the right side there was a blue panel with equipment.

It was really convenient, but after being amazed by the possibilities. Nero wanted to go to the forest and collect raw materials. However, as soon as he took a step towards the forest, a thought appeared in his head, and in a second the smile disappeared from his face.

..This is no ordinary island....jellyfish spiders...it may be more difficult than Minecraft on Hardcore mode."
