1 Chapter 1: Mistakes are the portals of discovery

"Rinnnnnng Rinnng " my alarm rang as I stood up to switch it off . Time 6:00am I quick went to the bathroom and did my daily activities.  Now it was time for my morning lecture by my mother. I sat on the chair and as I started to eat I mother quickly said " Why are you eating so slowly  haven't you seen the time it's already 6: 35am don't you need to revise for you math test see I don't want you to score less marks. " " But mummy " but she cut my sentence in between and said that she doesn't want to hear anything.  I quick ate my breakfast and started to revise the formulas and some basic problems.

And 7:00 am my bus came and rescued me from my mother's jail. Rihanna my best friend had already reserved   a seat for us and so I didn't need to search for one. Everyone was discussing what they all have prepared.  As I sat beside her she said with her sweet gentle voice " Good morning Eli . Are you done with your preparations for the test " and I quickly replied " Yes until now I think I am really prepared but I can give your answer only after the test is done " she smiled on my reply and told me to stay calm during the test I nodded my head in a yes sign. We entered our school we had our assembly and I will say that only the first two periods were nice because the third one was  math as soon as the bell rang we all started to revise and some of them confirm there plan for cheating but if I tell you about our math teacher then I may describe him as a person with a very bad temper as he entered our class the children stood and greeted him. We all sat down as he begin to had over the question sheet to us. I don't know how should I describe my look as I ran through the paper I can only say that I look like a person who had seen alien in real. My heart started racing as I closed my eyes I say my mother's angry face. I quickly opened my eyes and started solving the paper but I was not able to concentrate and finally the result came and yes my fear came true the face that I say of my mother became my reality, after a long lecture of more than an hour I returned to  my room. " Why do I always make a mistake, why Why WHY?!" I said it so loud that the whole country would have heard and yes not them then surely my mother because she ran into my room and then I was scold for publicity that I made of my grades. And finely when my mother left a notification came on my phone it was Rihanna 's message it was written " Mistakes are the portals of discovery - James Joyce " and after reading it Igot some courage to try up again . "Rihanna truly  knows me " and I smiled.
