49 Jezebel

Delia was on her way to work when she came across someone she least expected to see. Her car recently developed a fault so she decided to take the bus. She still had to walk for a few more minutes before she will find any bus.

"Delia hey." A voice which she could never forget spoke from behind her. She had tried her best to forget about him and move on, and she felt she was making a lot of progress. Now he is here.

"Mason." she said and turned to him.

"Uhm... how are you doing?"

She looked at him stunned for a moment. He had avoided her at all cost since he told her about Kate. Even all those times she went to beg him, he will make sure to dismiss her before she finished saying what she had in mind. So what changed now?

"What do you want Mason?" She asked.

"Didi I just want to let you know how sorry I am. I know what I did was cruel and... and... I'm so sorry Dee."
