Unknown Threat

"Sir, what had happened? Why had you called me all of a sudden? Is everything okay?" Henry Broad asked as soon as he entered Oliver Miller's room

"Take a seat" Oliver offered him

First going through all the security checking before entering inside the house and now Oliver Miller asking him to have a seat triggered to Henry that there is something serious more than he knows

"Sir, tell me what is the matter," Henry asked in his business tone

"Henry, you are providing us with the best security from the past. You have assessed the threat to Louisa and that made me bring her from the hospital. But I want to know all details about the threat we possess now," Oliver asked all serious

"Sir, as none of the individual security was allowed inside the event we don't know what had happened inside the venue. Even the elite security was allowed only until the first floor. The venue was guarded by world-class security so I don't think someone else can even enter the premises without the pass. The pass was nothing but the thumb scanner and the machine can easily find out if one tries to proxy that," Henry answered

"How did our guards find Louisa?" Oliver questioned

"Sir, when Mr. Rudy Flyer didn't find Ms. Miller he have asked the security and crew present there. Mr. Flyer asked our security to know whether Ms. Miller left the place and when our people said 'No' he got the signal that something is not right. So defying the event organizers' orders they got hold of the security cameras. No one was able to crack the lock open. Then somehow Mr. Asher Carter entered the scene and helped us," Henry replied to Oliver everything happened in detail

"So after all the wait Asher Carter made a public appearance?" Oliver asked

"Yes Sir, no one thought he would be coming but he made a sudden appearance. Maybe he thought this is the perfect time to introduce himself to the world receiving the prestigious award," Henry Broad replied

"How did Asher Carter get into the picture? Why did he help us? We are their potential rivals then why did he help us?" Oliver asking leaning forward

"Rudy was so worried about Ms. Miller Sir. So he asked help from every person he saw and luckily Mr. Carter came forward and helped them," Henry replied

"He is a businessman Henry and with the information, I know about him I feel that he won't do anything without having a gain. So what made him help us and you need to crack that," Oliver ordered Henry

"Sir, Ms. Miller has jammed the whole security system and now the footage of today's event got mostly erased" Henry replied looking down

"What? We don't have access to the security camera footage too? Then how come we will get the information?" Oliver yelled

"Sir, you have no option left except asking Ms. Miller what had happened at the event" replied Henry

"No Henry, I don't want to ask her about it. She is so petrified already and I don't want her to pressurize her" Oliver said looking at Henry

"Sir, but if you won't ask her we will never know what had happened and we will never know about the threat we possess. So we have no option left except asking her even if that I tough," Henry said firmly

"I don't want to make her condition worse but I can't let some threats surround us," Oliver replied

"Yes Sir, do it now" Henry replied

"No Henry, it's quite late already. I will ask her once she settles down" Oliver said to Henry

"But please do it as fast as possible. It will be good if we get information as fast as possible," Henry said

"Yes Henry, I will try to get that without making her situation worse" Oliver replied

"Do that fast Sir, I will take your leave now," Henry said getting up from his chair

"In case of anything unusual increase the security," Oliver ordered and Henry nodded at that

Henry took the leave and Oliver kept looking at his mobile. He has not shared anything with Henry but his mind is not at peace after receiving the message

Oliver got out from his chair and strolled through the room drinking Vodka lost in his thoughts

"Louisa, you look soo pretty," Flora said as soon as Louisa stepped out of her room

"It's late night Flora and you got me ready like I was going out for a date," Louisa whined

"I soo wish my pretty girl goes out on a date but she has stopped that since years," Flora said looking down

Louisa kept mum at that

"Lou, tell me will I see you going on a date again?" Flora asked

"Aunt Flora, I am trying to be happy. Please don't poke me and make my mood worse" Louisa replied

"You are never going to reply straight to that question right?" Flora asked with slight anger

"You know the answer perfectly Aunt Flora and I don't want to answer that," Louisa said walking away from her

"I have prepared everything you wished for, will you please spare some time for them?"Flora said walking to Louisa

"How can I say no to my Aunt Flora's love? Let's go and enjoy them," Louisa said smiling wide

Flora took Louisa to the dining room catching her hand. Louisa wanted to walk through the stairs and she sent Flora in the elevator

Louisa strolled through the stairs looking at the home she is missing for years. The security personnel's eyes were on her all the time due to the orders they received

Louisa experienced an emotional roller coaster inside her. Memories kept flashing in her mind. She held her tears from slipping out of her eyes and reached the dining area.

She was stunned at the grandeur. It has changed a lot. Why wouldn't that change? After all the damage happened there?

Louisa walked slowly looking at everything in detail and reached the huge dining table

"Here you go," Flora said placing a plate before her

"Oh my goodness, Aunt Flora. I can't eat this much," Louisa exhaled heavily looking at the items placed before her

"You are going to eat everything. I don't want to hear a 'No' from you," Flora said firmly

"Louisa, I can't be eating all these. I have a diet chart to follow," Louisa replied with pouted lips

"Deal with the diet charts later. That will not work before your Aunt Flora. You have to eat everything without skipping," Flora said with a hint of seriousness in her voice

Louisa smiled at the love she is receiving after all the years and washed her hands in the bowl the servant brought

Louisa was about to eat a morsel of food but abruptly stopped when she heard a voice

"So the princess is back enjoying all the pleasures she gave up. So all the giving up is just a fake stunt you have pulled?"

Listening to the words, Louisa's blood boiled
