The Award

"Vulnerability was once my weakness but it became my strength and gave birth to innovation, creativity, and the astounding success which took your peaceful sleep away and gifted the glamour doll Esma Blair some dark circles," Louisa said standing opposite to Esma

Esma's jaw touched the floor looking at Louisa whose face showed no sign of fear or terror even while standing opposite to her

"So the little kitten started answering back?" Esma tried to sound imperious

"The little kitten has grown up and now it knows how to fight back and make a place for herself, get that straight into your head darling," Louisa said with a confident smirk

"I see you are trying hard to stand head to head with me, but I know how to break you little kitten," Esma said spitting venom

"This is what I call being delusional, you are constantly imagining. I think you need to consult a psychiatrist, don't worry about the payment I will sponsor that," Louisa replied smirking

Esma was shocked to the core witnessing Louisa who is nowhere near the Louisa whose legs shivered when she stood before her, these confident answers from Louisa were indigestible for her and she tried hard to shut Louisa but she found nothing

"Don't try hard Mrs. Blair, you might take ages to shut me" Louisa smirked and started walking

"The newfound happiness, confidence and the so-called success which got into your head is going to vanish very soon and I will be the reason behind that, I am warning you," Esma warned her

"I have better shit to worry about," she said walking away

All those girls who bickered about her shut their mouths and gave her the way when they witnessed Louisa savagely shutting up Esma Blair, the person with whom no one wants to mess with

"We want to thank our jury of judges for being fair and honest in the judging process," one of the hosts said and the hall echoed with applause and he continued further

"The next award is 'The Silver Shield' awarded for the 'Expert accuracy' in the field they deal and that goes to 'Lox Organizations'," Louisa's lips curled into a smile when she heard her company winning the prestigious award

Her eyes furrowed when she saw Stanley Flyer, CFO of their companies collecting the award instead of her dad. He thanked everyone and boasted about their achievements.

"Mr. Flyer, where is my father?" Louisa asked walking o him while he descended the stage

"I have no idea Lou, I haven't seen him in the party yet" he answered her

"What? Where would he have been? He had nothing in his schedule too" Louisa wondered

"You may ask your mother she might know the reason," he told her

"My mother? She will be probably busy in showing off things and she doesn't have time for this," she said laughing ironically. He did not comment further as he knows where it leads

"Louisa, don't spoil your mood for petty things and please stay cool no matter what," he said patting lightly on her shoulders.

"I do follow that Mr. Flyer, it's just these people who don't respect that and poke their heads into my things and don't expect me to stay silent if such things happen," she said strongly

"I better stop giving this crazily dressed girl advice and better congratulate her," he said pecking her hand and she smiled in return

"You better go sit in your place there are few more awards left and I am so sure you would grab a few of them," he said before leaving her

"Every second gives birth to a new idea while some people let it slip away the others make wonders with them and to reward the rising star in the business here's the prestigious 'Yellow Diamonds award' and it goes to 'The Spacequest' a big round of applause for the young man who is leading it," the presenter said

A middle-aged walked to the stage "They said young man but he doesn't look any young," Louisa thought

"Well I am not the young man who is running the company to great heights, I am his father he is stuck somewhere so I am receiving the award on his behalf. The whole credit for this should go t0o my son and the staff who are working relentlessly. We aim to achieve wonders in the space," he concluded by saying that

Louisa's eyes followed him, they entered into the market a year back but now they stood as a highly competitive organization on the head to head with 'Lox Organizations'. They are doing wonders in the space field and the stocks of 'The Spacequest' now stands on par with the 'Lox Organizations'.

"We should work harder now and try unique projects or else they may take over us anytime soon," Louisa messaged Rudy

The person who has been following her every move smiled at that

"Someone is heartbroken after watching their rivals winning the award," Esma Blair spoke from the back

"Rivals? They stand nowhere near us and I don't mind about this petite wins," Louisa replied to her without turning back

"I feel you little kitten, I know how it feels when our enemies get something which was supposed to be ours," she spat venom

"Mrs. Blair, people like you who are filled with venom can't think more than this. I know how jealous you were when this little kitten pounced like a tiger and eliminated you from our way, but trust me I don't think of eliminating anyone from my way unless they are venomous like you," Louisa answered her smirking

"You Bitch," Esma spat back but stopped when she listened to the host

"As the event progressed to the last stage we are excited to present the last two awards. One of that is 'The Blue Diamonds award' for 'The Game Changer' who have done massive transformations in the business and resulted in the tremendous growth not only for their organization but also for the field and it goes to Louisa Miller"

When the words left the presenter mouth everyone present in the hall were shocked, even Louisa's mind went blank with the surprise. She collected herself and walked to the stage glancing at Esma Blair whose jaw is touching the floor and all those girls who commented on her were watching her with bulged eyes and witnessing that Louisa's lips curved into a smirk, she threw away all the nervousness and smiled at the presenter who presented her with the award.

The hall looked pin-drop silent when she took the microphone and started speaking "Well, being judged for free by everyone this is totally surprising for me to be judged righty for the first time. Well, I want to take this as an opportunity to thank the shit I have gone through because that built this version of me, be sassy, savage, and serene. My promise to all of you is I will never give up and I will be supportive to the one's who have crazy ideas approah me with them and don't fear for anything. You know what you are; work smart for what you want and just slay," Louisa gave the microphone to the attendant

Rudy was the first one to start clapping, others joined him, and the hall broke into thunderous applause, watching that a single tear escaped her eyes, which she wiped very quickly, but his eyes caught that

"Her attitude might be savage but her heart is made of gold" the person mumbled the lines watching Louisa keenly.
