50 Face the Rising storm
"Tim, what are you guys speaking? You want Louisa to handle the matter? You guys know about her, if something pressurizes her she might get an anxiety attack too. I can't put my daughter's life at stake"
"Sir, we all will be present with Louisa and she is a mature individual and she is involved in this matter so we need to bring her and she is capable of dealing with these things. We don't need to worry," Tim said to Oliver
"This guy Asher Carter is being so tough, I know that Louisa can deal with these kinds of people but she is too disturbed since yesterday. I don't want her in this mess. I will deal with this myself. Louisa is the important one," Oliver replied
As Oliver declared his mind out Tim kept calm
"What is this?" Oliver questioned eyeing at the tray the staff person is carrying
"It's just our special refreshments Sir" Tim replied
"Are they safe?" Oliver questioned
"Totally Sir, nothing is wrong with these. They are tested in all levels" Tim replied
"I don't know Tim, this Carters are ready to pick mistake in every little thing and point out to us.
"Don't worry about anything Sir. We can settle everything" Henry assured
"Sir, they are willing to speak to you" one of the employees informed Oliver
"All the very best Sir," Tim wished both Henry and Oliver when they were about to enter the lounge back
"The refreshments will taste really good they are called as Miller's special and people will wait to have them but you guys left it untouched. Please have them" Oliver smiled once they entered the room
"Mr. Miller, we have discussed among ourselves about this matter and thoroughly thought about it. This is not just a problem for you or me. As you said this problem is not limited to us but whole organizations will get affected by it. So we have come to a thing" Jordan Carter was the one to speak
"What is that thing, Mr. Carter?" Henry questioned
"Asher wants to meet your daughter and discuss with her" Jordan replied
"What do you want to speak with my daughter?" Oliver questioned
"Mr. Miller, she is involved in this matter as much as I am. So I really need to speak to her. I need to know her opinion before coming out to a decision," Asher replied
"Asher, I am observing this from the time you are here; you somehow want to involve my daughter. Why is that so?" Oliver questioned
"Mr. Miller, there is no need for me to involve your daughter in this; she is already involved in it. I just want to know a few things from her" Asher replied
"What are those things Mr. Carter, you can discuss with us" Henry Broad replied
"This is something I think the people involved directly in the matter should discuss and come to a closure. What is that thing which is stopping you from bringing your daughter into the room if you have done no wrong? Why are you hiding her?" Asher questioned
"We are not hiding her; she is just busy with her schedule" Oliver replied
"Mr. Miller, do you think we are free people who don't have any work? We too have busy schedules just like your daughter but as we are involved in serious shit. But you are protecting your daughter without a scratch; that's not fair Mr. Miller. I need to discuss things with her and if you won't let us meet her we will just release a statement before the press and media that we can't come to any conclusion as the Princess of Millers is not available to come to a conclusion and we too believe that Millers have a hand in this" Asher smiled speaking that out to Oliver
"Mr. Carter, are you trying to blackmail us?" Henry Broad questioned
"No Mr. Broad, I am not blackmailing you. I am speaking the truth. When you won't let me meet your princess and have a talk with her. If you want something really profitable to both of us then you need to make me meet Ms.Louisa Miller" Asher stated what he wants clearly
"Asher, it's…" while Oliver was saying something Henry Broad signaled him to stop that
"Mr. Miller, there is something. Can we speak for a minute?" Henry smiled saying that and stood up from the couch
"Excuse me, Gentlemen" smiled Henry while Oliver followed him
"Yeah okay," replied Jordan and Oliver exited the room along with Henry
"What is that Henry Broad, what is that you want to discuss while we are in an important conversation?" questioned Oliver
Tim rushed to their side as soon as he saw them outside the lounge
"Sir, what is happening?" he questioned
"Tim, please make Mr. Miller understand that it is the time we need to bring Louisa into the scene instead of hiding her. Asher Carter is adamant to meet her and discuss things. It's not like he will eat our Louisa, he just need some clarity. He is ready to put the whole blame on us if we don't make him meet Louisa. We can't risk whole organizations name and goodwill for just one person" Henry spoke
"She is not just a person Henry; she is my only daughter and the heiress of this organization. How can you just term her as nothing?" Oliver asked seriously
"Sir, Mr. Broad, didn't mean it that way. He just said that what is wrong if we make both meet? She is the important one for us but we cannot risk everything for the sake of hiding her and we will also be termed as escapists, which is not true. So even I want you to make him meet Louisa and I am so sure that she can handle this so well," Tim explained to fuming Oliver
After hearing out to Tim, Oliver cooled down a bit and thought something deeply
"Okay, I think what you are saying is true. I will make him meet Louisa but they should speak before my eyes, I don't want to let her out of my eyes," Oliver replied
"Okay Sir, that is okay. Let's convey this to the Carters and their group" Tim replied
Oliver walked towards the lounge while Tim and Henry followed him inside
"Gentlemen, Sir is thankful to you all for being patient and Mr. Asher Carter you can meet Louisa. Just wait for a few minutes and she will be here. Until then have those refreshments and ask us if you want something more" Tim smiled
"We will be waiting for her," replied Jordan and Tim signaled Oliver. When Oliver blinked his eyes in assurance Tim left the lounge to bring Louisa to face the arising storm
