Grand Entrance

As Damien snapped out of his gaze, he continued strolling up to the castle gates when someone yelled out "Halt! Intruder, what is your business in the capital?" The first guard asked.

"Well I'm here to become a holy knight" Damien smirked.

Both guards stared at the 'kid' in wide eyed then began to laugh much to Damien's annoyance.

"Get lost kid!" The other guard said, then more laughter occurred, until the one who seemed to be the leader of the guards on duty spoke in a tone of arrogance.

"Haha, come on guys... Let's have him test his strengths against a TRUE warrior such as myself" The boastful man said in a self righteous manner.

The other guards cheered and laughed at the 'kids' unfortunate luck until Damien decided that he had enough.

He released his power, causing an eruption of multi-colored light to sky-rocket into the sky causing many people to bare witness to it's beauty and yet fearful power.

The guards began to shake and the weaker ones bled a little. The leaders smirk dropped instantly and he fell to his knees whilst choking.

"My, my... Where's that arrogant manner gone now? I thought you wanted to test me did you not? WELL I'M WAITING!" Damien shouted causing the guards to tremble more and tear up in fear.

"P-p-please stop" The leader stuttered.

"Meh, too late, you challenged me, your stupidity has cost you your laugh" Said Damien as he flashed in a blink of an eye appearing in front of the leader ready to pierce his chest and grasp his heart until he realized everything had stopped... Literally time itself, nothing moved until he heard footsteps and knew whom it was.

With that he turned around and smiled brightly as he greeted her "Well hello [Merlin's real name (Unpronounceable by humans)]" He said laughing at her expression.

<Merlin P.O.V>

After I had seen that man I rushed out of the tower only to see a bright spectral of light shining upon the city, this scared me immensely at the sheer power, but due to the life I've lived I could push through. I quickly teleport-ed closer until I arrived behind the same man, however he had each guard on their knees and was about to take the leaders life, so I snapped my fingers causing time to temporarily stop. To my bewilderment as I strutted forward he turned around in a snap with a smile on his face. I was shocked at the fact that he could actually move but more shocked after what he said.

"Well hello [Merlin's real name (Unpronounceable by humans)]" He said.

With that my face instantly became pale. How did he know her name, no how did he pronounce it! So many mysteries about this young man that made Merlin want to study him more and more. As she was about to reach out to grab him she saw his fingers snap releasing the spell she had cast and causing the time to flow as normal. This shocked her even more, as it would've taken a tremendous amount of power to break that, but she had seen that kind of power displayed earlier, unless that wasn't his full power...

<Damien P.O.V>

As I broke her spell I allowed more of my power to be released causing her legs to shake, granted she didn't fall because her power was above 3,000 which was probably one of the highest here, but he hadn't even got up to his full power. With the light engulfing him he took off into the city as the ray of light followed him. He halted at the front of where he assumed the king to be as everyone's gaze in the town square followed him as the powerful light disappeared revealing a man... A terrifying man.
