Chapter 3: First Blood
30 minutes later, still in the abandoned house.
I tried to stand up many times from my sitting position but isn't worked. My legs trembling. My face losing its color, my pale face almost like a ghost. My entire breakfast stuck on my throat, I feel I would throw up if I see those bloody bodies on the floor again. I tried to hold my urges, I took out a fresh mineral water bottle from the Inventory and gulped it down with big gulp in one go.
"Haa... huff... haaah... haaah...." My breath still uncontrollable, my adrenaline is keeping me from fainted from that fight.
Pulled my Training Sword and holding it tightly with my right hand, I tried to stand up while pushed my weight on it. I barely standing with my sword acted like a cane. I walking backward toward the wall, leaned on the wall then keep looking straight. My vision still a bit hazy, but I need to move the heavy furniture to block the path from my broken back door. I know from my last fight it would attract more those mindless zombies here. I think I don't even have the energy to fight with those crap, I walked steadily and began to moved the furniture to make a temporary barricade there.
After finished moving all the required furniture for barricades, I sat on the couch wiping my sweat with my backhand. My jacket had been discarded and changed with clean clothes.
The system notification keeps ringing on my head from the beginning. I exhaled then took a stamina potion from my Inventory, on my palm rested an exquisite transparent vial with yellowish liquid inside it. I looked at the vial a second before gulping down the potion. I feel a sweet and sourness mixed a little bitter on my tip tongue, after drinking that potion I felt my strength recovered a bit even I can kill a zombie or two on my current condition now.
I decided to check my system log and then...

After checking the [Journal], I see three ongoing Quest on my list tab. I began scrolling the [NPC Shop Lv.1], there is a lot function there starting from Weapon, Potion, Armour, and Force. Other than that a lot of NPC Shop items cannot be purchased because my level and contribution point is insufficient. Even though I cannot purchase it now, I can check the information about the items on NPC Shop.
There is a thing or two entered my mind. It's a basic potion and sword.

I nodded in satisfaction while looked at my updated status and closed it then the HUD disappeared from my vision. I sat on the couch for nearly ten minutes or so just by checking and familiarizing myself with the system.
Well, I got a conclusion on my mind. First, I got transported to Apocalypse World where its basically a wasteland with mutated zombies and beasts roaming around. Secondly, there would be a surivival camp or base with some scary looking warlord maybe government itself? and the threat of bandit or some immoral acts like killing, raping, robbing, and other unbridled act are bound to occur in this land.
I took a Basic Map from my [Inventory] then checking the geographical map and studied that map carefully. This map basically a world map but not too detailed. The map divided into seven continents like Earth, South America, North America, Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa, and Antartica. I don't know if the virus mutation spread on the Antartica too. My current position showed with a red dot on the map in Southern Asia, precisely in a city in the province of Lampung, Indonesia. Dammit, what the hell I teleported to this coordinate oi?!
