Loading the cargo was finished past noon.

"Now then, let's go Mr. Yoshinobu." 

Moss hurries me, but

"Wait a bit, we're taking on passengers."

"Passengers?"

"Yeah, asked to take them to Lard.

He was so serious I agreed."

"Well, we're moving by your power after all. I've no objections, but who exactly?"

"Let's see, the name was..."

As I start to give the name, a voice calls out from the distance.

"Sorry for the wait Mr. Yoshinobu. This is my sister Louise Maldrado joining us, and her guard Ornel." 

"Pleased to meet you, I'm Louise. Thank you for accepting our unreasonable request. We're grateful."

Louise courteously bows.

She looks around 12 years old, but carries herself gracefully, clearly well-educated.

Well, with looks of a perfect beautiful girl, I'm momentarily stunned.

"Excuse me, I'm Yoshinobu of Lucas Company. I've accepted Sir Dean's request to take you to Lard, but please understand the ride may be uncomfortable."

"Yes, brother told me about it. 

The ship here was also shaky and awful, so I'm prepared."

"Understood. Please board, we'll head out right away."

I take Dean's group aboard the aircraft.

"Please take a seat here, keep this belt on until I say.

Mr. Moss you can sit in the co-pilot seat." 

I seat everyone and depart.

Moss hasn't said a word this whole time.

Feeling a little suspicious but saying nothing, the plane takes off.

"Wha- it's flying in the sky!"

Along with Dean, the other three are shocked at the scenery out the window.

"That's right, we're above the clouds so storms don't matter.

Oh, you can remove the seat belts now."

Hearing me, they undo the belts and Dean approaches.

"Just what is this? 

I've never heard of such a thing."

"It's a power exclusive to me. I only recently joined Lucas Company and came to Maldrado Kingdom just days ago."

"Amazing..."

Dean seems at a loss for words.

"Sir Yoshinobu, what an incredible power. May we borrow it again in the future?"

Louise asks.

Hard to refuse the request of a cute girl...

"Yes, when I have time I can lend my power.

What would you need it for?"

"I want father, grandfather, and mother to see this scenery too."

Louise' innocent request makes me smile.

Moss beside me just looks even more sullen...

"Anytime for that. But this can only land on water or long flat ground. Is there an ocean near where you live?"

"No ocean..."

Louise looks dejected.

"Then we can fly in something else, is that ok?"

"Oh, there are other methods! 

Please."

Louise' expression brightens.

While I feel healed by her abundant expression, Moss only grows darker.

With Louise and Dean going elsewhere to see the scenery, I speak to Moss.

"You ok, Mr. Moss? You look pale."

"You understand, right Sir Yoshinobu?" 

"Understand what?"

"Who our passengers are."

"Yeah, you said Dean, Louise, and Ornel right?"

"I knew it, you don't get it!"

"Huh, did I get it wrong?"

"No, that's not it!

That person is...!"

Moss stops mid-sentence.

"Sir Yoshinobu, earlier you mentioned another method to Louise, what kind of method is it?"

Dean comes over to talk.

"Just a different vehicle, Sir Dean."

"Could you use that to take us all the way to the royal capital?"

"Let me check my schedule, if I'm free then no problem."

"Do you have plans or something?"

"I need to deliver this cargo for the banquet held by His Majesty. 

That's what this cargo is for."

"Then it's fine, better if you take us together, it will speed things up. I'll explain to Sir Lucas."

"Is that so, then no problem.

But I won't guarantee comfort that time either!"

"Hehe, I know. But even this is a smooth ride, less shaky than a ship."

Dean seems oddly cheerful, while Moss beside me has finally fallen asleep.
