70 Chapter 70: Shun's and Sephiria's Date

By the time weekend started, both Sephiria and Shun actually went out together as they dressed in their usual form

Shun was wearing a light blue hooded jacket that he customer designed and haved a tailor sew it for him, a blue shirt, tight leather jeans, and his cleaned rubber shoes

As for Sephiria she was wearing a light pinkish shirt vest together with a long one piece dress reaching the knees, together with the perfectly suited shoes

The reason for this modern designed clothing being worn by them was because for some reason it's only natural for shun to wear this, as for Sephiria she was greatly Influenced by the fashion thread of the anime's that she is still currently watching during the night in her own dormitory room

Of course such fashion quickly caught the eyes of both girls and boys from the capital and thus getting them quickly at some point as a center of attention

But after an hour or two the busy onlookers finally returned to their usual self

Firstly In the pretense of a date Shun actually brought Sephiria inside an enchantment shop filled with magic items in a everyday objects being applied like a necklace having an effect of additional defences

"So you brought me here for what reason exactly" asked Sephiria as she kept a calm face

"Well it's exactly as I intended! I came here with you so that I wouldn't be alone in doing this stuff in the pretext of being a date" he replied

"So the date thingy was... . . "

"A cover up" confirmed Shun as he gave a wry smile at her

Hearing that Sephiria couldn't even sort out her feeling of being angry at some point or crying in the pretext that she must have anticipated this day only to end up as fake

But before she could outburst cause of the lie, Shun immediately pulled her her close as he said

"But if you like to... Then we could have a proper outing later on after I finish this, so if you help me then we will be able to finish this faster than intended right?" He said while smiling cheekily

Hearing that Sephiria suddenly kept her emotions intact as she gave him a glare and said

"If you lie about that, then I'll declare that our relationship is off" she threatened him

"Relationship? We're not even in a relationship of being a lover nor a fiance" pointed out Shun

"Wha... . . I... I... Hmph!"

Unable to make a refute to what Shun said at all, Sephiria immediately went for the route of being stubborn as shun took out something from a shelf and made the store clerk to analyze such item

After awhile Sephiria was still in a mood of being stubborn as she goes "hmph" at every turn that Shun would talk to her

Seeing that unwavering spirit of being stubborn, Shun instead took something out of the bag that he just brought from the store earlier and pulled out Sephiria's hand by force

At first Sephiria planned to ignore every moves that Shun made to make him regret lying to her about the date and all, but then she immediately went into a daze as she begun blushing the moment Shun placed a ring on her ring finger

"Huh?!?! What?!?!? This... This... . . What's the meaning of this? Shun?" She said as she begun to panic

"Well basically that jeweled ring is actually quite expensive due to it's high additional defense stats, regenerate ability, strength stats and etc." Said Shun as he held up the bag showing other accessories for everyone

"But that ring, I chose it for you since I felt like it would be more suited that way" he said as he begun to walk off

"Staring at the ring for minute or two, Sephiria couldn't even get her thoughts straight anymore as she stared back between shun and the ring of her ring finger as if such an act of Shun's considerate action was more that what he had told her

Soon after they went straight towards a clothing shop which also had its product enchanted to provide maximum profit

As expected Shun brought the important clothes for Aria and the other guys such as Wendy, Cedric, and Rachel in the pretext of having an equal standing when fighting

This move too however could be called a securing the possibility of clashing each other like a fixed match but Shun wouldn't care at all

But most of all Shun bought the most high potential enchantment and cutest of all the dress and handed it over to Sephiria as another insurance offering as an apology and securement for victory in the joint selection

After that of course Sephiria urged Shun to criticize her if the dress he bought was really good on her

Of course when she showed the dress to him, Shun was left speechless and astounded by the sudden rise of cuteness that Sephiria was showing

"Kawaii... . . " Muttered Shun

"What did you say?'

"I said "kah! Waiting is bothersome"" he excused himself as he pretended to be bored

After that they took a stroll across the market after buying the essentials for them have a higher standings in the selection and have a higher chance of being picked

Unfortunately just as they somehow were looking around the stalls, Rachel actually met them in the way

"Hmm?!?!"

"Oi! Rachel!"

Hearing Shun calling out her name just like that, Sephiria couldn't help but feel a little bit jealous

"Shun? Sephiria? Are you two going out?" Asked Rachel while keeping the tired look in her eyes

When Sephiria was about to tell her the truth, Shun immediately Intervened as he said

"Yep! Just like what you expect" said Shun

"Huh?!?!" Reacted Sephiria

"Is that so? Then please carry on" said Rachel as she excused herself

"Will do!" Said Shun

With that Sephiria followed it up with a bow towards her

Just as they were about to separate ways, Rachel however left them one message for them remember

"If that is the case then Shun!"

"Hmm?"

"There's a line you mustn't cross when your in a date, please be careful and not accidentally create a baby... . . Your still young after all" said Rachel as she finally left

But due to that both Shun and Sephiria suddenly blushed red upon hearing that and agreed to pretend that they never heard that words of her

Soon after they moved to a nearby restaurant as they seated beside the window next to woman who seemed to be listing something while eating in a restaurant full of couples

Of course when Sephiria saw that this was a restaurant for couples, she immediately went bashful in contrast to Shun who didn't notice this and proceeded to order

After setting out their order and being handed it on their table, Sephiria couldn't get it out of her head as she felt that whatever happened so far was actually like a real date, going to a accessory shop, shopping for clothes, strolling around, and eating in a couple restaurant

Unfortunately Shun didn't notice this coincidence as he hardly imprinted it as a pretext of preparing for the selection matches

With that Sephiria planned to stay as it is and enjoyed the moment of them eating lunch together

Unfortunately such atmosphere was suddenly broke off when they heard a familiar voice

"Shun? Sephiria?"

When they looked at the source of the voice, both of their eyes widened in shock when they realized that the woman beside them was actually Leah probing into the business accounts

Immediately Shun choked from the food that he swallowed, which in turn made Sephiria hand him water to shove it down his throat

After gaining himself back, Shun stated

"What are you? Your popping out everywhere! Are you secretly miss joy from Pokemon? always there wherever you go?"

"Huh? What are you talking about?" Retorted Leah

With that it took awhile for Leah to explain that her dad sent her here to atleast make a business stand here for their new branch and supervise it for a week or months, apparently that was the initial reason why she was checking the account books as she plans to budget their monthly allowance

But the talk didn't take long as Leah was so busy that she left adruptly after conveying her thoughts to them, thus leaving both Shun and Sephiria hanging for a moment there

After that Shun said

"What a day!"

"What a day indeed"

"Sorry about today!" Apologized Shun

"Why?"

"Well I lied and used the date that you were expecting as a cover up, in the end we didn't get to enjoy the day like a real date" said Shun

"Is that so? But I think that whatever we did today was like having a real date" said Sephiria while smiling beautifully

"Really?" Asked Shun

"Well yeah! But if you insist on making a better date next time, then how about let's have a round two of the date after lunch?" Asked Sephiria as she smiled at him cheekily

"I never thought of that! Alright! To make it up for lying to you... . . Let's do this"

"Great! Now let's eat!"

"Sure"

With that they continued their date after lunch and ended the day with both satisfied to what they received and experience

With it followed by the next Monday, marked as the start of the selection matches for the joint school tournament
