Chapter 69: Before The Class Selection II

Back to it all class during this period were busily answering the questions for the test, followingly the day consist of two test which is in need of grading

The reason for this low number of test was because most of the subjects so far doesn't need test or either turned test into a practical test rather than written test

During almost at the ending part of the sheet, the questions that were displayed there was so hard that even Shun started to complain

So in order for him to answer this, he instead resulted into using a dirty trick

As he was writing, he also at times were listening towards the hidden champion beside him

Apparently Kha'zix was using invisibility while sitting beside shun, at the same time Yuumi could be seen sitting on top of a rooftop browsing some of Shun's books

As Yuumi searched and brows for answer, she would then send it through a communication Crystal in which Kha'zix would receive the information and relay it to Shun himself

Due to this his cheat mode was flawless, until recently

When the first test ended, shun himself stretched out for a bit and unconciously looked over Rachel who was beside her, coincidentally the latter was also looking towards him and the place beside him

After that she spoke

"Please don't cheat next time"

"Huh? What do you mean?" Asked Shun

"How should I put this... . . I know that your cheating and someone was telling you the answer since I saw you happily answering the test" she stated

"Huh? how can you say that I cheated?" Complained Shun

"Well the thing is I know you had someone to relay the information and that someone was the guy beside you then, even if the guy your cheating with has the ability to disappear, his silhoutte outline however was reflected to the sun or rather the light distorted and refracted"

"... . . Welp! Wow" exclaimed Shun

After being found out about that, he instead raises both of his hand and admitted it since the cat was already out of the bag

"Well I won't deny it" he claimed

"Is that so? But please don't do it again, after all I feel like cheated if someone would just blatantly cheat and beat a student who diligently studies... . . It's like trampling on one's pride" said Rachel

"Is that so? Well then I'm sorry" apologized Shun

"Apology accepted"

As they were conversing Rachel suddenly took out a novel book that she burrowed in the library

She was fully utilizing the 15 minute break interval of the two test, luckily the instructor do any mind the talking to each other after the test, but the restriction was they have to converse in a low voice to avoid creating distractions

At that since Shun has experience in reading a novel, of course he became intrigue as he suddenly became more talkative to Rachel thus creating a pure relationship between them as book buddies

Of course both Aria and Sephiria were looking at their direction from afar, and for some reason Sephiria became quite irritated just by seeing that happy atmosphere on Shun's table

Seeing her pouting like that Aria could only smile wryly as if she was kind of putting Sephiria's behavior

Soon after 15 minutes break,.the second test once again commenced, but compared to the first test, the second test however was quite easy at all thus causing both Rachel and Shun to finish this up quickly

Upon finishing the instructor recommend them to leave the room immediately and took the rest of the day off

With that both Shun and Rachel understood this as a form of dismissal, thus the school ended for them which consisted of 2 hours per subject

With that they decided to leave the classroom

Of course both Sephiria and Aria was surprised to the speed that both Rachel and Shun finished the exam

For the fact the second test was more like a history test which revolved around a certain hero in the past

Cause of that they discussed the culture of that particular hero which is in fact that hero introduced Otaku culture which in turn made it easy for shun to answer as a fellow Otaku

Upon leaving both Shun and Rachel decided to pass the remaining time inside the campus by heading straight to the library

Just like that when they got there, it was for a fact the first time for Shun to be there

With books all stacked together in rows and columns, followed by the floors which is neede cause of the influx of books, Shun himself have though of this as comparable to a national library

"Woah!" Exclaimed Shun

"Woah indeed" said Rachel

After that they sorted at a table as they begun to exchange words to each other, at the same time they begun exchanging informations about themselves as if trying to outshine the other

During they're conversation however which lasted about 30inutes or so, they were suddenly interrupted as both Sephiria and Aria came in from the side and obstructed they're idle chat

"Hey!" Called out Sephiria

"Huh? Oh Sephy! You guys are finished" asked Shun

"Well yeah" said Sephiria

"Well the second test was kinda hard.since that subject was not my forte" said Aria

"As for me I think I got mostly some of them correct" said Sephiria as she scanned Rachel from head to toe

"Hello Sephiria" greeted Rachel

"Hey!" Said Sephiria as if she doesn't want to further elevate the talk

"I know you already know my name but let me introduce myself, I'm Rachel"

"I see"

Compared to Rachel's mature and composed attitude, you come of say that Sephiria was more on the Moe side, well unfortunately Aria who was not involve in any kind of affair seemed quite oblivious of the situation as she happily said

"Well nice to meet you Rachel, and I'm Aria one of Shun's friend and best friend of Sephiria"

Hearing the heiarchy positional of friendship level, Shun could say was quite inferior than to Sephiria herself

And as if reading the atmosphere at hand Rachel conceded as she stood up and said farewell to them before leaving the library

Seeing it like that it seemed that for Shun he evaluated her as someone quite an observant of the mood and her surroundings since she easily managed to see through Shun's cheat tricks during the first test

With that both Sephiria and Aria sit at the opposite side of the table to Shun

"It seems you were having fun" said Sephiria

"Well indeed I did have fun since it's been like what? Quite fun just discussing about the stuff related to novels, it just reminded me of the past" said Shun

"Memories eh... . . You must have been quite a freeloader in your past"

"Very much"

Hearing that Sephiria was quite intrigue by his past, on the other hand Aria begun to ask something else

"By the way, it's reading a novel and having a book buddy really that fun?" She asked

"If its mutual hobby then yes, it's quite fun" said Shun

"Really? Them maybe I should read a novel for myself too" said Aria as she stood up and planned to burrow a novel book

With this both Sephiria and Shun was left behind on the table

Intrigue by Shun's past she begun to ask for details

"Hey!"

"Hmm?"

"... . . Umm... . . So I was wondering you know if I could see your parents, it would be great right?"

"....."

Upon receiving no reply at all, Sephiria seemed to thought that she must have made an misunderstanding, thus she went out and try to straighten it

"Um! Uh! Don't misunderstand it's just that I'm curious about your parents attitude and conduct and must have concluded that they're very much like you since you came out to some kind of happy go lucky vibes" said Sephiria

"Plus you've met my parents, isn't it only natural if I could meet yours too?" She added

After waiting for a reply for awhile she suddenly looked at Shun's expression only to see a somewhat conflicted expression to his face

"Well the thing is... . . My parents died when I was 17 barely reaching adulthood thus I was still considered as a minor, with that knowing no one would take me in as a worker of the society cause of being underage, I instead lived an Otaku life while luckily receiving a fortune that was handed down to me"

"Your... . . Parents died? I'm... . . I'm sorry for poking that situation, it must have brought out painful memories right?" Apologized Sephiria

"Don't be... . . After all... . . Even if they died memories remains, and that's the reason why it's hard for people to face that fact... . . I just needed... . . To keep facing forward"

As Shun showed this, he somehow showed an expression that wasn't conveyed at all to Sephiria, an expression of wanting, longing, loneliness, and especially the coldness of being left behind

Seeing him smiling to avoid being hurt of the situation made Sephiria quite guilty for bringing that up

So with that she started to look around only to see that since the class was dismissed, the students must have left only leaving them with couple of students who didn't even have time to look at their surroundings

Seeing it turn out like that, she gathered up her courage and stood up and walked over to Shun's side

Seeing this action Shun himself begun to question her

"What are yo... . . "

But before he could finish his words Sephiria suddenly embraced Shun and pulled him to her chest so that it would be easy for her to hug him as she consoled him at the same time

Seeing her worrying like that made Shun feel pathetic so he lightly tapped her arm to make her let go of him

"Sorry making you worry like that"

"Hehehe! No need well I did poke into it"

"Yeah you did, that was could play" said Shun

"Well it's my fault anyway" said Sephiria

After that Aria suddenly arrived with a pile off three books which seemed like a trilogy of a novel story

"Alright I'll burrow this books, can you guys wait for me?" Asks Aria as she became oblivious of the atmosphere

"Please do"

"Great"

After that she run off to the counter to burrow the books

After awhile Shun somehow notices that starting from next month or precisely next week, the selection match would commence this putting pressure unto the students

Feeling like such pressure would be too much for Sephiria since she was well known for being a defect, he would expect some kind of bullying will happen behind the scenes right before her match

In order to avoid that Shun somehow thought of a great idea as he looked at Sephiria who was standing beside him

"Hey Sephy!"

"Hmm?"

"You free tomorrow?"

"Tomorrow? It's Saturday right? Well naturally" said Sephiria

Hearing that Shun slightly nodded

"Alright! Wanna hang out tomorrow?" Since this capital is equipped with both the school and environment such as leisure areas we could say that we could spend our time going to the district and buy what we want, also we could try some of the good public events right?"

Hearing that Sephiria seemed to space out for a while before she staggered on her words

"H... Huh? You mean... To... Together?

... Only... T... Two of u... us? As in... A... Da... Date?"

As she staggered on her words, she instead however blushed beat red as her sight started to run wild just to avoid Shun's indifferent gaze

"If you would like to translate such ordinary words into that then why not?" Said Shun

Hearing that confirmation Sephiria couldn't take it anymore as she limp down and try to calm herself by fanning her face

"I'll take that as a... . . "

But before Shun could conclude it Sephiria suddenly said

"Yes!"

"Huh?"

"I said yes!!!"

"Sorry I can't hear you clearly, could you repeat that?" Teased Shun

"Muu! Your doing this on purpose, I said yes already" stated Sephiria

"Really? Then with that we will meet at the front of the Academy's entrance by 10 in the morning"

"S... Sure no problem

Hearing that Shun smiled at her as if he was having fun teasing her

After that she helped her stand up just in time for Aria to come back with the three books she vowed to finish it reading at all cost

Sensing a different atmosphere between the two of them, Aria begun to speculate between them, from Shun's happy go lucky smile, to Sephiria's fidgety and blushing red face

"Hmm... . . Something's fishy... . . Welp it's not my problem"

After that Aria proceeded by reading the book together with the two of them until late this giving them a lot of time to talk to each other again

"Hey Sephy!!!" Said Shun as he faced her and tried to come closer by tilting his head to see her expression

"What do you want?" Asked Sephiria seemed quite irritated by how much Shun played her this day

"Well I'm just saying... . ." Said Shun trying to get her attention

"Saying? Just tell me" said Sephiria as if she couldn't wait for what Shun would say

"Well... . . I look forward to our date tomorrow! Make sure you wear something amazing okay?" Teased Shun

For a fact Shun would be okay to whatever she wears

In return Shun only received a reply from Sephiria was

"Hmph"

Hearing that Shun further teased her

"What are you? A tsundere? Come on! Just tell me what you feel"

"... . . Fine! Fine! You win! I also look forward to tomorrow" said Sephiria while immensely blushing

Seeing that pure innocent reaction Shun somehow smiled at her

"There you go! That's my girl"
