68 Chapter 68: Before The Class Selection

Back in the subconscious mind of Shun, which he often used to train himself against his champions in real combat

He In Turn was currently laying down on the hot weather of Shurima as he lay on one of the dun hill of the sand

Due to the heat he at times would hallucinate things that wasn't there at all and as for the reason why he's laying down on the hot sand...

"You must be wondering why I'm lying down the hot sand" said Shun as he begun to hallucinate of Yuumi actually being by his side which is impossible in this training period in his subconscious mind

"Eh? Not really" said the hallucination Yuumi

"I'll tell you about it, it all happened long time ago... . . Well maybe not long time but few minutes ago" said Shun

"You really don't listen do you?" Pouted by the hallucination Yuumi

After that he raised his head only to see the vastness of the sand as he slowly stood up and looked around

"You should get moving" said the hallucination Yuumi

Right at that moment when he thought that Yuumi was behind him, he involuntarily took a step to turn his sight behind him

Due to that a electrical current fr his step vibrated throughout the sand that sent a signal to particular champion that he was challenging

After that he turned his sight on his clock only to see that it was already 1 hour passed midnight

"Oh crap! It's late already?" He panicked as he immediately set the alarm and fell asleep since since the next day would be important to him

Next morning when the students of Beta Class tried to review and calm themselves for the upcoming test this day, Shun on the other hand planned something out to pass

It's been weeks already since the announcement of the upcoming tournament and if given by chance then perhaps after this week the selection matches will begin

With that he arranged so that each student will have to atleast sit with the person they're not close with

With it this is the three of them were seated with different partners for the day

Shun - Rachel

For the arrangements of sitting partners, Shun didn't even have any problem with Aria sitting together with Andrew since he knew that Aria was at most shy with people other than him and Sephiria

What worried him the most was that Sephiria's sitting partner was that guy who somehow fell head over heels for her during the practice match due how beautifully Sephiria executed her spells

"Hahaha! Looks like both of us are destined for each other's I see" said Andrew as he tried to show his cool side to Sephiria

"Huh? Ah! Yes... . . Yes... . . And you are?" Asked Sephiria as she kept a fake smile on her face

"I see you must be shy to even ask for my contacts and my name, well it's only natural since I'm quite popular myself in this class and has charm in my own way" said Andrew as he tries to drew closer to Sephiria

When Shun heard that he somehow accidentally broke his pen out of irritation

Nevertheless his sit partner named Rachel whom he never interacted with suddenly noticed his broken pen

With it she took out her bag and lend Shun a pen that belonged to her

"Are you sure?" Asked Shun who was shocked by Rachel's sudden kind hearted approach

"Yes! It would be troubling if you somehow failed cause of a broken pen"

"Ah yes thank you" said Shun in reply

At first due to her name as "Rachel" Shun thought that she was some kind of a Gyaru a type of a chick girl that liked to act tough and sometimes wouldn't wear their uniform properly

But contrary to his expectation Rachel was at most a modest person and also kind of calm and composed, but most of all smart which would be beneficial for him if he ever wanted to pass the test

With a thought of passing the test, he begun his approach as he tries to befriend her and use some word play so that she could help him review and study

"Hey! By the way my name's Shun and you must be Rachel, well my opinion of you really changed" said Shun

Hearing that Rachel turned her head towards Shun and spoke as if she is vulnerable to praises
