Chapter 67: Announcement That Broke Plans

Almost two weeks have passed since the uneventful night where Shun used the battle simulation and fought both Rengar and Kha'zix at the same time
The point of the battle simulation was not by winning against the champions but by using this opportunity to observe they're movements thus achieving 100% mastery and proficiency on the ways how a champions fights
Due to that Shun somehow learned a lot of skills over the past two weeks and used them occasionally during his time inside the simulation
All in all Shun somehow lost to both Rengar and Kha'zix for about 36 times already due to their combination
What's more during the simulation there will be restrictions to be put on namely
- Champions state of prime will be applied to them, thus they will return to their original strength when being in a simulation
- the host additional stats will be restricted and return to the stats worthy of being a champion itself, with that the host when fighting wouldn't be able to use his original strength in real time simulation
Even though such restrictions were laid out Shun still managed to calm down and face them from time to time
If it counts then this try will be the 37th time Shun challenged fighting Rengar and Kha'zix
After continues fighting Shun finally managed to get the habit of both Rengar and Kha'zix memorized In his mind, with that he will be able to cope up when fighting against the two of them
Currently Shun is now engaged in a face to face close combat between Rengar and Shun, if permits then it's already been the 36 chain combo exchange that they did in high speed
As Rengar tried to attack, Shun would just try to deflect, block, counter his every attack, of course the former also did the same whenever the latter would counter, thus creating a non-ending cross exchange of blows
What's more while still holding on to both the I.E and Shiv at hand, Shun literally wanted to deal damage against them but somehow failed due to the enemy's overwhelming experience in fighting
As Rengar manage to grab a hold of Shun's shoulder, the latter immediately reacted and gripped Rengar's arm before elbowing Rengar's arm without hesitation and causing a slight crack of bones to vibrate
Shouting in pain using his right Rengar pushed Shun away from him before following up with a pounce and a upper swing of his dagger thus causing Shun to unexpectedly raise both of his hand in recoil to Rengar's upper swing
"Kuh!"
At that exact moment from his side Kha'zix somehow undone his invisibility as he activated his skills causing his sycthe claws to glow purplish light
"Taste Their Fear!!!"
"Savegery!"
At the same time Rengar's also activated a skill causing his dagger to shine bloody red
Seeing this Shun released both I.E and Shiv from his hand before activating some of the new skills it have learned during the past two weeks
"Living Shadow!!!"
Using this particular skill that came from Zed's abilities, he always skillfully placed a shadow behind him by a few meters and quickly exchanged positions with it, causing both Rengar and Kha'zix to miss their attacks and giving them a surprise at the same time
"What!!!"
"That... . ."
But due to their failure to execute Shun and instead their attacks passed a Shadow, this chance somehow was taken in by Shun as a chance as he once again switched places with the shadow and crouched down while equipping another weapon
This time Stormrazor came into play as wind suddenly accumulated around Shun
With a swing Shun releases the wind causing a tornado to conjure right infront of both Rengar and Kha'zix
Unfortunately Kha'zix immediately jumped away when he saw this only leaving Rengar to take on Shun's full brunt of attacks
When Rengar got knocked up, he immediately dashed ahead as he activated another skill
"Last breath!!!"
With this Shun turned into a sweeping shadow due to it's speed and attacked Rengar in all side in just mere seconds before slamming him unto the ground
When he landed Kha'zix shot out "Void Spike's" as an ambush to let Shun put his guard off
Unexpectedly Shun saw this coming as he swiftly dealt with it
"Wind Wall!!!"
With a slash a rising current suddenly emerge infront of him serving it as a way to block anything coming to his way
"Guh!"
Seeing that the attacked failed Kha'zix once again applied the tactic of hide and seek as he once again disappeared from view
But due to Shun's efficiently learning Reksai's passive of shock tremors, he managed to pinpoint Kha'zix movements by looking ahead of the pattern on the way it moves
With that Shun himself unexpectedly used a skill that he learned over the past two weeks of concentrating to improve his fighting capabilities
"Void Assault!!!"
With that Shun somehow disappeared from sight, causing shock from Kha'zix himself
"Where did he go? Where is he?"
As Kha'zix begun to panic due to the Shun's presence disappearing, the person himself was actually moving from trees to trees using "Sweeping Blade"to avoid unnecessary sound of the grass to occur, thus creating an illusion of a ricochet
As Shun I moved forward to deliver an attack he immediately activated another combo skill to avoid alerting Kha'zix of his oozing killing intent and full concentration mode
"Deathmark!!!"
With that Shun completely submerge into his shadow in three ways as they once again assaulted Kha'zix on three sides at the same time
All Shun needed was a one opening for him to execute his movements, so the moment both Rengar and Kha'zix got surprised by the fast reactions of movements as if a pro player was smashing the keys to adruptly activate the skills
They all lost the chance to win the fight against Shun, thus completely losing this round against him
With a slash Shun cuts Kha'zix across his chest and after a few seconds of delay the Deathmark activated causing an internal explosions to occur inside the former thus officially defeating Kha'zix in yes of reaction speed skill activation

After this series of notification Shun somehow was surprised to know that by training so much and defeating a champion, he in turn would be able not only to master it but also to level up
This thing was a huge help for him after all it's been a month already since he last leveled up so he was a bit level conscious

And if by chance his techniques and skills were somewhat a reality concept instead of a game concept then he can possibly create an army of clones by simply activating the skill

And with the the simulation ended thus returning his subconsciousness back to his body

Per natural due to him staying up late just to fight in a simulation battle, Shun somehow was constantly sleeping in class thus worrying Sephiria and Aria a lot
Since Sephiria noticed that Shun was really tired at most times, she in turn would do him a favor by offering him some notes to copy when he woke up
As the class finished their study magic theory and are only waiting for it's next subject Aria became quite curious about Shun's hobby during the night causing him to be at a loss of sleep
As if hearing their request Shun suddenly yawned as he realized the class was over
"Huh? It's over?" He asked around
"Well you are soundly asleep" said Aria
"I am?... . . I guess I am" said Shun after he pondered about such thought
At the same time Sephiria handed shun her notebook as she said
"Here"

"It's the notes in class, you better learn them and efficiently master them since they will be tested during the magic theory quiz on the upcoming week next month" said Sephiria
"I see... . . Thank you for that" said Shun as he gratefully took the notebook
"Don't worry I'll completely take care of this and return it to you by tomorrow" he added
"Is that so? Then I hope you can give me a reasonable passing score" said Sephiria as she tapped the last quiz they took and reminded Shun about his failing mark
As if noticing that Aria somehow gave a dry laugh about it, causing Shun to feel apologetic
"I... . . I'll try my best!" He stuttered
"Trying your best is not enough! But don't worry it's my turn to help you! Before next quiz, I will thoroughly teach you about this lesson, so be prepared cause instructor Sephiria is on the move!!!" She jokingly remarked
"Hahaha! Looks like you really do pay attention to me!" Teased Shun
"Of course I do! My parents did a lot just to get you recommended here" said Sephiria as she pouted her lips
"Right! Right! I'll follow your instructions! Sensei" he teased
At that exact moment the next instructor suddenly came in and announce the upcoming match against all first year on the upcoming next week for the selection
"Announcement class! For our combat class, the school will have a thorough observation starting next week and will have your class have a sparring match against Alpha class, Delta Class and Gamma class" (take note I didn't include charlie class since it's ryhming is out of place)
"All in all you will have a bout against all four second year class, just like last year four students will be chosen for each class to be the representative of each section to participate on the upcoming magic tournament against six academies in the upcoming end of next month"
"With it you will compete for the 2nd yr bracket, of course as for the spectators, you will be allowed to watch any type of match whether the tournament of 1st/2nd/3rd year or just simply watch them all... . . Remember in case the stadium for the event became full, the academy will provide a Lacrima crystal for broadcasting of the tournament so that every student will have a chance to watch the upcoming matches... . . So with that I wish you guys would give an honour of winning the tournament of six academies"
As the instructor finished his announcement, he begun to properly teach the class about the original topic, but for some reason Shun clearly understands that no students were somehow was able to listen to such lesson, instead the though of the competition lingering in their mind completely astounded to the fact that they excite them
No matter who maybe the representative, if somehow they can show an amazing feat, it will still be the pride of the school
No lingering regret or anger of losing at all only full support, with that trait in hand, it's no wonder why this academy is one of the top 6 academy of all in this continent
"Did you hear that? A tournament! Alright! Just imagine the rewards and honor" reacted Aria with eyes that seemed sparkling In Excitement
"If I was like In the past, then maybe I would hesitate but due to Shun's help I think this kind of event inst so bad and a letdown after all" said Sephiria as she turned towards Shun and bowed
Seeing that Shun somehow only gave a dry laugh
"Well anyway looks like an interesting event, well I hope they will give us a free snack and an achievement if we ever watch every tournament from 1st year to 3rd year relentlessly" said Shun
"If that is so, then maybe it's a worth to try" said Aria as she gave a thumbs up after thinking about seeing different kinds of magic coming from different academy
"You guy's... . . you guys are really a comrade in case of mischief" said Sephiria
Upon hearing that both Aria and Shun simultaneously told off Sephiria
"And you will be our face value to get a good seat"
When she heard that Sephiria was suddenly perplexed about that response
"Huh? Why me?" She asked
"Simple because your cute!" Said Aria
"And your the most beautiful girl I've met" added Shun, not noticing that his sudden comment actually caused Sephiria to blush so much that she could feel her heart pounding and the face burning up
Not noticing this Shun simply pushed nthis aside as a sign of cold by placing his hand on her forehead
Of course this action only caused a reverse effect as this only worsen the situation to the point that Sephiria couldn't even talk properly nor look Shun straight to his face
Seeing that Shun couldn't help but laugh
At first Shun was perplexed about joining such event since this will only shorten his time for himself and leeway of his breaks, until something unforeseen happened
