What is going on?

As usual I woke up before the sunrise, and get out of my bed... So sleepy... Surprisingly, the first thing I see is Silva studying.

"... What hell... you doing?"

He look over me with eyes full of dedication. That definitely an eyes from someone that got over his break down already. Although his eyes already red enough.

"Studying obviously. If I couldn't beat you or Lein before, then I should work harder."

"You beat me..."

"No, I haven't. Since you never do any test seriously."

"Alrighty... you... take c.. of your body."

I yawn as he turn back to his studies. I stretch my body, as I scratching my head. I took a peek at his paper, and found out a couple of wrong calculation. Most of it because he didn't answer it thoroughly. Making a small mistake in his step, which lead him to incorrect answer.

"When is the last break?"

"Break? You mean the last time I took break?"

I nods at his questions.

"Yesterday dinner I think."

"Yep, you're obsessive now."

I pull him away from his desk. This guy definitely need a break, he struggles tho.

"What are you doing?!"

"You need a break. Didn't you realized.... you been making a mistake... over your paper, ... most of it ... you aren't.. thoroughly enough."

"What? Stop talking randomly, I could hardly understand what are you saying. Also you only took glance at my work!"

He shake my hand off. I could only sigh, well my arithmetics is unique so I could calculate those intermediate magic sequence and formula easily. Since he didn't believe me, I pointed his wrong step one by one, make him aghast.

"Now, believe?"

Okay my sleepiness making my tongue twisted. He sighing, then nods his head.

"Good. You need a break. Come with me."

I pull him once again, he isn't struggling my hand off now. We move to the lake in a blink with my magic.

"... Amazing, you could calculate all the sequence and coordinate with only your mind."

"Hoamm... Yeah, my arithmetics aptitude is quite high after all."

"So why did you bring me here?"

"For relaxing. Just wait ... while, she... arrive soon."

Then as expected, a figure come over not too long. No, it two figures. It Lein and Fransisca. They already wear their training clothes. While I am... Hmmm, right I haven't change my clothes since yesterday. We exchange glance, as I could feel Lein bewilderment when she sees Silva. I am sleepy...

"You finally here Lein..."

"Right on time."

"Yes, it is and morning fiancee. I miss you..."

Hmmm, why did Fransisca face blushing?

"Morning..."

"Seems like he haven't woken up fully."

"Err.. hello? I mean good morning miss Lein and err... Dageraad fiancee??"

"Ah, good morning Silva. I never knew you were such an early bird. Also is that brother of mine just wake up or something?"

"Go-good morning Silva."

"Yeah, he just woke up... Then ridiculously pointing my wrong in my studies, before dragging me here. Also may you please introducing me to your lady friend miss Lein?"

"Ehhh, this is my cute fiancee Fransisca!"

" Aaa... I see... Now why is he seems drunk miss Lein?"

"... This is his habits while being sleepy. He would answer things truthfully while saying it part by part vaguely. It like an automatic response and movement. Even right now, he still in between dream and reality... I guess..."

Suddenly something cold and wet making me wake up.

"Whoa cold?! Where am I?"

I look at my surroundings confusedly. Ah, right I plan to train with Lein... We should meet up, by the lake. Hmm, somehow I already here?

"Oh there is Fransisca here. Morning Fransisca. Also this rare to see you outside Silva."

"... You drag me here."

"I did??"

Then all the memories from before come back.

"That wasn't a dream?!"

"It wasn't a dream brother... Sigh... Can't you stop that habits of yours?"

Lein sighing, as I could feel my ears getting hotter. Fransisca giggling at me, while Silva got dumbfounded.

"Cough... Still the water from the lake is really cold."

"Anyway Dageraad, if you do those without thinking before, could I leave now?"

"Oh, come on. Just join us for morning practice. It would be good form of relaxation."

"Morning practice? I thought you going to start a badmouthing war with Lein."

"Nah, we won't do it right away. Maybe we would as our spar heated up."

He was dumbfounded at my answer, then he creasing his brow. He keep looking over me and Lein in turn.

"Can I ask a question miss Lein?"

"Eh, sure."

"Did you and this shitty noble finally make a peace?"

"Me and Zein? I guess we would make a real peace if he give me something."

She smile meaningfully at me as she answered his questions while hugging Fransisca.

"... You do know I won't give you that."

"Ow, my brother won't share something with me anymore. I am sad, even though I already forgive his bad attitude to me from before."

Silva got confused while Fransisca face goes red like a peach. He then look over to Lein and Fransisca, then back to me.

"Anyway Dageraad, why do I feel familiar with your fiancee?"

I laugh as I look at Fransisca tease-fully. Before I could say anything, Fransisca open her mouth first.

"It because... You know me since last year... We're in the same circle, and you act like my brother when Zein do something bad to me..."

"I did?? As long as I could remember, I never see you around this noble until today."

"She always with me~ and sometimes go pulling Zein away from prince Edgar."

"... That seems like something I have seen many times, but the one pulling Dageraad away is—"

"Yes that is her."

He dumbfounded again and again, when Lein give her confirmation. He took a deep breath before looking back at me again, pulling me away. I am surprised he would do this kind of secret talk with me.

"Oi, Dageraad did you make a coalition with your sister to fool me around or something? Because you've nailed it deep enough..."

"... No, that is the truth."

"Bullshit! I won't buy it, Fran is the most honest person I ever met."

He shout that, making Lein laugh while Fransisca got flustered.

"This must be a day to fool people right? You suddenly become a genius mage, Lein and you make a peace, then Fran become a girl. Did I got an illusion or something? These day I keep having delusion."

"Oh my Goddess... This is hilarious..."

"I know right Lein, Silva is so much fun to tease."

We exchange glance between twins. Silva shocked, and gapping his mouth like a fish.

"So.. you both indeed colliding to fool me?!"

"No... I am indeed a girl."

"What? I won't buy it I told you!"

As Fransisca and Silva bickering we twins just laugh at the side.

"You must see his face when I pointing his wrong step before."

"Why? You should've do that where I could seen it."

Silva glance back at us with frustrated stare.

"Ey, if you don't believe me just fight her. You would lose tho this time."

"What? How could I lose against her? If she is Fran, I would win. Since he always goes over in straightforward movement. He really steady."

Hearing his answer making Fransisca narrowing her eyes at him.

"That's it Silva, let's spar."

"Oi... We haven't do the routine."

"You guys stupid twins just do your work out, I need to beat this nerd magician!"

"Who did you called as nerd?!"

"You! You bookworm!"

With that words she pull out her wooden long sword, as she dash at Silva. Looking at that Silva responding with a backwards step, and launching five fireball at once. While me and Lein.

"Hmm, who do you think would win?"

"Silva win last year, but I think Fransisca also grow stronger since last year, so do Silva tho. I guess it would end up draw."

"Hmm, reasonable answer if it was last week. Now it will be different, Fransisca will win."

"Hee, why do you think she will? If your answer it because she is your fiancee I will hit you."

"That one of the reasons, but it because her choice of weapon. Did you realize she didn't used sword and shield anymore?"

"Oh... She use a long sword now."

"Last year she lose because she keep using her shield to block his magic, which is correct if she could bear Silva fire power. But she forgets something fundamental, her speed wasn't that far apart than Silva! While her arm power is higher than him."

At that moments Fransisca slash down two fireball as she open a path straight to him. As I expected, she already know how to used mana blade.

"I see. So that what you meant! She never used her shield properly, while it hinder her flexibility with her sword."

"Exactly, a thin long sword is much better for her, than sword and shield. She horrible with shield!"

"You know, she would beat you up if she heard that."

"She already beat up my mentality because I already said those."

"Whoa, so you already do a secret lover talk with her. Damn, you always do something behind my back."

"... In my defense, I only found out she is a girl because of that."

"Ah, I should've seen that coming. You are so dense!"

We bickering while keeping our eyes on their spar. Surprised when he sees his magic got cut down, Silva make a beginner earth magic which making the ground become a mud. Feeling the ground become soft Fransisca jump away from the magic effect range. Of course Silva won't let her off easily, he continues with a wind blade as she jump which Fransisca cut down again.

"Seems like a stalemate to me tho."

"Did you forget what I said? Even tho she lose in speed the gap wasn't that much, and Fransisca got higher strength which mean..."

"Ah... She could catch him in a moment of bursting."

Then that exactly what happened, as Fransisca touch the ground she launch herself towards him in sudden burst. It took Silva by surprise, since she suddenly arrive in front of him and bash his stomach with her wooden sword. It over, he got maimed to the ground with Fransisca palm as he bended over. She then put her wooden sword on Silva neck.

"And that's it! the winner is... Please do the drum roll!"

"... Fransisca from Grey household! Give both the participants applause!"

"What do you think miss Dageraad? This rematch from last year kind of unexpected for me."

"Indeed mister Dageraad, that last burst from contestant Fransisca definitely took Silva by a surprise."

Me and Lein acting like an announcer of the battle, making Fransisca giggle while Silva staring at us loss for words.

"Did.. they always do things like that?"

"They did as kids, the last time I seen them play a role like this around 5 years ago tho."

"Ah... I heard that Dageraad break down after he keep losing against miss Lein."

"Yeah... They get along really good before that."

"I see... So all the things he said is the truth. How hilarious is this, a genius acting like an idiot and shitty noble just because he lose against his twin."

We act exaggeratedly, and Silva finally laugh out loud as he stand up.

"I never thought that miss Lein would be such a jester before."

"You never seen how mischievous they're as kids. They basically a devious twin in our entire circle."

"One time on summer tea party, they make a mess which alarm the entire city guards."

"... What did they do to alarm the guards?"

"Fransisca stop leaking our past!"

Hearing our jeering Fransisca got flustered, while Silva got dumbfounded again.

"You know what?"

"No, we don't know that. How could it..."

"I never thought it would be like that!"

"Now you get what I mean right?"

"Miss Lein entire figure in my mind is slowly crumbling down right now."

"You better destroyed it now, since they could got more ridiculous sometimes."

Me and Lein do a high five, shake and fist bump as we look at the tired face of Silva.

"Now, I finally understand that, the shitty Dageraad is much better than this annoying twin duo..."

I fake a cough, before this got further away.

"Anyway Silva seems like you are finally relaxed."

With that, the four of us starting our morning jogging, which ended in an hour. What left is Silva laying on the ground like a butterfly try to catch his breathing. I am not much better than him tho, only Lein and Fransisca could breathing normally. Well I am not as bad as him tho since I used body reinforcement the entire time in secret. Then I am doing a push up, with the shoulder pads on my back. While Lein and Fransisca do a sparring.

".. how... Did.. you.. able to... Run the entire... Mountain... In one hour.."

"By sprinting?"

"You... Seriously... Talking to you.. is tiresome.."

"Fine I'll answer you... I keep training till my nose bleeding. If that what you want to know. Also that happen for 3-4 years before I gave up trying to surpass her."

Although that not entirely the truth since my stamina and body potential now wasn't the results of that, but that much more believable than saying I met a God. Right now, only Fransisca knew the truth. He could only stare at me in disbelief.

I laugh as I heard his answer... Okay I am doing stupid things, it become harder to push up, because of that laugh. I grit my teeth as I push myself up again.

"... Aren't they much more like your enemies?"

"No... If I am their enemies, Lein would be the same. They're my childhood friends, until I am being a shitty noble tho."

"... Okay, I thought they were Lein childhood friends 'only'. Because your name seems taboo for most of them."

I sit down as I am done doing push-ups.

He stand up, and leave me. I guess he going to get back to the dorm... Or not. I made a stone wall like a concrete behind my back, and a couple of small explosion like fireworks sounded from the other side of it.

"Tsk... I guess it impossible for now."

"You're welcome Jack."

"It Silva, you shitty noble!"

With that he really leaving us, I starting another set of push up as I couldn't detect him anymore. After half an hour or so, Lein and Fransisca come back after sparring. They look at me whose jungling six blue fire ball. Although it smaller than before, it got much more power since I can finally condesing my mana. They look at me weirdly.

"What is it? Is there something wrong?"

"... Everything wrong."

"What did she meant Fransisca?"

"Zein... By everything, it mean literally everything."

"Are you planning a terrorism or something?!"

"... By juggling a handful high condensed blue fireball, which keep making a dangerous vibe because of it high amount of condensed mana which could be use to destroyed our dormitory?"

... Now that really seems weird and dangerous at once. Somehow I sound like a terrorist that jungling some c4 bomb in his hand... I could feel some bitterness in Lein words.

"Umm, alright then."

The fireball dispersing right away, when I reply to Lein. She then sighing, while looking at me bitterly.

"Umm.. did I do something wrong? You seems bitter."

"I really hate our connection. It just I finally understand how is it felt being jealous of someone."

"Oh my~~ my sister is jealous of my magic. My beautiful, honest, and gorgeous sister is jealous of me."

She roll her eyes at me.

"Oh come on don't give me the cold shoulder. You would become someone that you hate if you do those~"

"Now that more like my twins, pouting and pushing people away is my share."

She swing her wooden sword at me, which I dodged before I hiding behind Fransisca.

"Fransisca, your lover want to dice your fiance apart!"

Hearing my words Fransisca face flushed. While Lein gape.

"Damned brother now you done it!"

"Kyaaa~~ kyaa~ guards help, there a murderer here.."

She chase me as I keep dodging her slash by a thin hair. Fransisca giggling while seeing us.

"Won't you both stop being so silly?"

"But, but, she going to the dark side of jealousy!"

"Who going to go to the dark side!"

Then suddenly a 3 meter mana slash come out from Lein sword. Too fast?! I send out a condensed mana right away, and make a mana shield at once.

"Are you seriously trying to kill me?!"

"Ahh, you can guards that too?! How deep you've been hiding your strength!"

Fransisca could only smile wryly at our exchange, as Lein keeping up behind me with her sword. I decided to make an earth cage like before trapping her inside, as I roll away from another mana slash. Being trapped she stop before slamming her face at the cage.

"This damned magician, how could you make a this kind of earthen cage in a breath? Also I always on the center of it before it appears."

"It all calculation my twin. You do know I am smart, then after I learn my past life memories, I got his aptitude at arithmetics."

"You cheaters with two life!"

"Thanks for you compliment Lein."

But something unexpected happen, she send out a thin but high condensed mana slash. Which cut the prison bars. Damn it I know that reinforcing every bars with 1 point mana won't work to neutralize someone that could utilized a mana slash.

"But I can easily cut your mana connection if I used sword!"

"Damn you with your legendary swordsmanship!"

"At least I didn't receive my power from others like yours!"

The conversation continue as I keep dodging her. She finally caught on me, so I decided to used my new body strengthening magic and make a stone sword to parry her swords. Uh... This magic really straining myself, since I used around 8 point of mana to increase my body potential by 2 point across the bar. Still the consumption is enormous, 8 mana point for five minutes. But with this I could fend off myself equally against Lein. We exchange sword move couple of rounds before taking a distance from each other. Only third of my mana left.

"Whoa, brother your body is gleaming with blue aura."

"You force me to do this! It new magic that I just develop yesterday."

"And the results is you could fend off my slash. Damned mage!"

"Hey, you are also great with magic! You could always use it to fight me."

"Not as good as you! Since it useless against your magic sensitivity, and prediction."

"This dumb twin! You both really great at any of those and still badmouthing each other?! What about me? I can't do any of those you both could!"

Finally someone snapped stopping our fight... It Fransisca. We both stopping at our track as she coming to us.

"What?! Haven't show off enough? Sit down you two!"

""Yes ma'am""

We sit down in front of her, as she scolding us. We could only nods our head as she scold us. At then end we both laughing.

"Why are you laughing? Did my words funny?!"

"No, no, I just reminded how you used to scold us when we made a mess."

"I know right Zein, that one time she even make us apologized to every guards."

"Ah, that time when we leave a fake kidnapping notes. Then hiding inside food container in the storage."

"Then afterwards we got a house arrest from our parents. Then when the punishment finally lifted, she come and scold us for a long time..."

"In tears like a mother of chick."

Fransisca speechless when she heard our narrative, before blushing and hide her face.

"It all your fault for making me worry! What did you guys think to make such a note at a tea party! Do you realize how scared and worried I was??"

"Ughh.. stop calling me mommy!"

Me and Lein laugh looking at Fransisca furious face.

"Anyway I am tired... Also the sun already arise. We should got back... Damn it another 1 hours marathon!"

"Tsk, you could easily teleport away. Me and Fransisca must run there because we would receive a punishment if we aren't there on roll call."

"Right roll call is in an hour!"

"I got enough mana to bring us back..."

"Then let's go!"

I grip both of their hand, then casting a teleportation by the lake.

"We should separate now."

I said that as I cast it once again to my room before could hear anything. As I arrive inside the room, I fall down on my knee feeling the terrible headache and holding my nosebleed, my entire body also aching because of the body strengthening magic. Silva which sleeping on the other bed, suddenly awaken as he heard me falling down. He look at me with a red eyes, due to lack of sleep.

"... Your nose really bleeding."

"Hahaha... I used to much mana and enormous calculation to cast space magic. My head feel like splitting apart."

"You seems alright before when you kidnapped me."

"It alright with two people in short distance. But three people is different. One calculation wrong and the person would be shredded in pieces."

I lean on the wall as I face to the celling. My headache killing me, as my nose keep bleeding. Rum suddenly open the door, he frown as he look at my condition. Silva look at Rum before laying on his bed again.

"What did you do now?"

"Since your butler is here. I'll go to sleep."

"Morning Rum, just a light work out."

"Light work out until your nose bleeding, seems like it too light for you."

He retort me right away, as he give me his handkerchief and cast a magic. Hmmm, it a light magic which give a relaxing effect to it target mind. He still frowning as he could tell it didn't really work.

"It won't really work, because my mind is relaxed already."

"Then why are you having an acute headache?"

"It because I used space magic too much, which straining my brain. You may take your leave. Since all I need is a rest for couple of hours."

"You're doing something ridiculous once again young master. Then I'll take my leave."

He took his leave while gritting his teeth. I wonder why he look like that? Also I could tell that Silva still awake, but I ignore him and goes laying on my bed. This headache is killing me. I slowly rejuvenate my body with water magic as it strained too. Since my control is out of place, because of the headache, I only try to heal my legs and arms. Suddenly I could feel my mind drifting off, as the surrounding change.

Where is this place? I couldn't feel the tearing apart pain anymore as I stand in a blank space. There is absolutely nothing here...

"Who are you?"

A voice resounding from everywhere when I am contemplating this place. I look around confusedly. But no one here.

"Where is that man?"

What is it talking about?

"What are you?"

Did I hallucinating because the pain or something? I definitely heard a voice, but I can't located where is it come from. I frown my brow as I keep looking around.

"How did you come here?"

"That what I wanted to know too. You didn't make any sense."

"You could speak?! You definitely not him."

When I retort at him, he replied with bewildered voice. This starting to seems weird, and who is him.

"Who is him? And what are you talking about?"

"Him is him, what I want to know who are you that got his memories but not him? I can't even see your memories after he losing himself to me."

"That him is Zein Dageraad? I am him."

"Impossible, if you are him I could trace your mind!"

... What the hell? Did that guy really meet something in his runaway?

"What in the world are you? How did you suddenly make an appearance here?!"

"I am—"

Suddenly a figure appeared out of nowhere. That figure is... God. The one that transporting me.

"Fancy meeting you here [——]"

I couldn't hear his last word....

"How are you here!"

It suddenly raise its voice, when the figure appeared.

"What a warm welcome. I see so all those errors is because of you, luckily the hero this time also an anomaly."

"You shouldn't have been allowed to come here! You will—"

Before it could finish his speech, a seal suddenly appeared in the blank space as the God snapping his fingers. There only one word on it, which is banished.

"Do keep quiet for awhile. There still someone here. Until we meet again [——], I need to bring him away."

He really is a God. He shut the voice off with one snap, and suddenly the space crumble and it change into an office room. This place seems familiar.

"Anyway, with that he won't be able to used you anymore."

He calmly sit down on his chair.

"What is that voice?"

"Just said that he is —"

I keep waiting for his words, but after awhile he keep quiet. The words never come from his mouth, making me tilt my head.

"What did you want to said?"

He chuckled as he look at me while shaking his head.

"You won't be able to hear it now, I already told you what is it. Sooner or later you would find it out by yourself. "

"... You must be joking."

" No, I am being serious. It is—"

Time seems to stopped and when I realized I was sipping a tea. I stare at my cup blankly, fuck what just happen?!

"See, I told you. Anyway since the hero is an anomaly, the world time line is changing, which change much more because you're also an anomaly."

"Then what do you want to say?"

"Basically, I couldn't predict the future of your world anymore. All I could say is brace yourself, since the future is unknown. It —"

Then suddenly the same things happen. I could only stare blankly.

"Tsk, even a small information about it can't be said."

"What?"

"Just brace yourself. Maybe you would find the truth, maybe you won't. Anyway until we meet again, which I hope it wasn't as fast as this time."

A hole appeared beneath my feet at once, which make me fall off the room.... I could see the God lips move trying to say something before I losing my conscious.

I woken up suddenly on my bed as my body drenched with sweat. The sun already up high when I see outside, and my body feel much better.

What just happened? What was that room from before? And what is going on?

I tried to recall it, but all the things in the blank space seems fuzzy. This is scary, I could feel that something really a miss on their conversation before. What is God meant by that voice is the one making an error, also 'the heroes of this time also an anomaly'?

That statement from him about me too, I won't be used by that voice again? What the heck, did my old self make some sort of contract with that voices?? But I never seen it in his memories... All kind of thought keep swirling inside my head...
