Tests

Inside Fraxinus, the spacecraft and main base of Ratatoskr Kazuya visited Shido. It was early in the morning when he went to Fraxinus.

When Kazuya arrived at the place where Shido is he almost laughed. Shido was currently being forced to play a dating sim game, called My Little Shido.

Kotori and Reine noticed Kazuya who arrived.

"Oh so you're finally here, good timing we need to conduct some tests" Kotori grinned

Reine nodded as greetings for Kazuya. He smiled back at her while Shido was surprised to see Kazuya.

"Kazuya-senpai? What are you doing here?" He asked curiously.

Kazuya shrugged, "The same situation as you, I joined"

Shido nodded understandingly, "I see"

Kazuya then stared at the game he was currently playing, "...Though I must say, that's....quite a game you have there"

Shido was embarrassed, "Kotori forced me to play this"

Kotori reprimanded him, "It's for your training" then she turned to Kazuya "Anyway I heard from Kyouhei you seemed to be a martial artist?"

Kazuya nodded, "Yeah, I started training because of some circumstances." 'Yeah if I didn't train I will die at that school' he thought

Kotori clapped her hand, " Good, then you will guard Shido in case of emergency"

"Alright" Kazuya nodded, he was okay with that "But can you create something like the equipment of AST?"

This time Reine answered, "We can but why do you ask?" she asked curiously. She was interested in this young man.

Kazuya smiled slightly, "Well since I'm guarding Shido then shouldn't I have equipment to fight? I can't possibly save him if a stray missile was headed to us, I'm just a human you know?"

He was totally bullsh*tting, he can just grab Shido and jump far but he just wants a piece of high-tech equipment like those. In other words, he was just being shameless.

Kotori thought for a bit, even if she was strong can't arrive immediately and it is dangerous especially since she knew the AST are reckless.

"Alright but for now just go and do your tests, Reine will go with you" Kotori agreed it seems Kazuya's BS got through.

Reine nodded, "Follow me" Kazuya followed her and they arrive at a room with many types of equipment.

"First lay there, I will conduct some health tests, also take off your clothes " Reine pointed at a piece of equipment that looks like those VR cabins in novels.

Kazuya nodded and take off his clothes and pants, now he just left with boxers. He laid down inside and a blue light started scanning him from head to toe.

When he was done, Reine approached him. "There are no health issues, your bones and muscles seem to be denser than normal humans, I'm quite curious" Reine looked at him like she wants to dissect him to study.

Kazuya shuddered upon her gaze, " It's because I train hard"

Reine didn't continue her questions and just signaled him to put on his clothes. After Kazuya finished dressing they walked towards a machine.

"Punch this, it will measure how strong your punch is"

He nodded and readied, he steadied his breathing. He inhaled a lot of air before he punched. The air seemed to vibrate when he punched.

Boom!

A loud explosion was heard, then they stared at the result and were shocked. His punch resulted in, 800 kg. His punch's force weighed 800 kg.

After that, they did some more tests, before finishing. Kazuya then did his training.

The next day, Kazuya went to school with Shido as usual. Kotori already went so the two of them are alone. While walking inside the school, Kazuya turned to Shido.

"Shido, what do you think of Tobiichi Origami?"

"The genius?"

Kazuya nodded, "Yeah, your classmate"

Shido replied, "Well...she is beautiful and smart...I guess? I don't talk with her that much"

Kazuya doesn't know whether to laugh or cry, he stared a corner and saw Origami hiding while watching them. 'Really? she stalks you every day you know?'

He noticed it when he went to school with Shido. Origami stalks Shido while the latter is oblivious.

While said girl also heard what they talk about, "Hmm...Kazuya-senpai is a good man" she nodded in approval.

There was nothing significant that happened that day except maybe for Kazuya who received many love letters and confessions.
