"Wha-?!"
Kazuya was surprised by the sudden notification. He was just preparing food for lunch and the system suddenly said it will have an update.
"What's wrong?" Kurumi who was helping him asked.
He shook his head, "Nothing, I just suddenly thought of something. The second semester is coming soon. Do you want to go to school?" he quickly said something to avert Kurumi's attention from earlier.
"I'll think about it" She hesitated, it's not like she needs to go to school.
Kazuya shrugged, "It's your choice, more than that let's finish cooking our lunch. Also, I need to plan our outing. I will also invite mom and dad if they're free, are you okay with that?"
"Of course"
After cutting up the ingredients, Kazuya started to cook for lunch. Kurumi watched him curiously so she can learn something. After which they had a delicious lunch.

After their lunch, Kazuya had nothing to do. So he went out, going into a secluded place he equipped his CR-Unit and activated his inbuilt cloaking system which camouflaged his unit appearing to be invisible.
Even though the system is unavailable, his inventory still works.
What he plans is to visit beaches that are good and rent a beach house. With him flying in his CR unit the process will be more efficient.
He flew at high speed and went to different places. He went around Tokyo to see the nearest beach.
By the end of his journey, he decided to go to Yuigahama beach which is near Tokyo where he currently lives. And so he also rented a private beach house.
He looked at the time and it was still a few hours before dinner so he continued to fly and explore other places.
And now Kazuya was currently flying in the Kanagawa prefecture which is quite a distance away from Tokyo.
He was directly on top of the Tanzawa mountains, he slowly landed and took off his CR-unit in case someone saw him.
Why did he land you wonder? Well, while flying he spotted a bear so he plans on hunting it to serve the home.
He took out his katana, which is inside a black scabbard with an eastern dragon carved on it. He took out the katana, it has a silver edge.

He then spread his ki in waves and detected where the bear is. He didn't detect other people in the area...or he failed to detect them.
Focusing his ki on his legs, he jumped on the branches of trees. After jumping for a few minutes and soon arrived at the location.
He arrived near a river, he was on top of a tree looking down. There he saw the bear drinking water from the river.
Holding the scabbard of his katana with his left hand, he readied. With his right hand gripping the handle of his katana, he focused his ki on his legs then jumped.
Bam!
The tree branch broke with the force of his legs. Then before the bear can react he already arrived in front of it.
Slash!
Slashing upwards in a swift manner, the bear's head slid off its neck. Kazuya jumped back to avoid the blood spraying.
Bam!
The bear's big body fell, blood flowed out of its neck towards the river. He let it bleed for a bit. When he was about to store it in his inventory he heard a voice.
"Hohoho, what a good sword technique you have young man." He turned nowhere the voice came from and became vigilant. His ki was spread out so he should've detected someone near.
"Don't be so vigilant young man, I mean no harm." After that, he saw an old man coming out of the woods.
He is bald but he has white beard as long as his arm and his eyebrows are long enough to the point where they go over his eyes.
"Who are you old man?!" Kazuya didn't drop his guard up even though he is in front of an old man. He can't feel any ki from the old man which either means he is not a martial artist who uses ki or a master much stronger than him.
And Kazuya knew it was the latter as even near, he didn't feel the presence of this old man. If it were a normal person he would've easily detected them.
Moreover, he can feel danger and pressure coming from the old man even though the latter didn't release any kind of pressure.
"I'm Kawakami Tesshin, the grandmaster of the Kawakami Temple near here. I felt you're ki so I went and check it out, so can you introduce yourself, young man?" Tesshin looked at the young man in front of him in interest. He can feel the young man was an expert based on his ki.
Kazuya sighed in relief when he heard the name of the old man. He knew Tesshin as he watched an anime called Majikoi.
He bowed a bit to show respect before introducing himself. "My name is Kinoshita Kazuya, nice to meet you, Grandmaster Kawakami. I'm very sorry for my previous aggression"
Kazuya addressed him as Grandmaster as he didn't know what to address him as.
Tesshin's eyes shined, 'Kinoshita? Is he related to that old guy?'
"Hohoho, It's nothing young man."
Kazuya sighed in relief, "Then may I ask how you escaped my detection? I'm very much curious"
He was really curious about it. It was his first time meeting such a strong martial artist in this world.
"I controlled my ki to not leaked out of my body so you didn't detect it."
Kazuya was enlightened, "So that's why I thank you for sharing your knowledge."
"Hohoho, no problem. Then I'm going first if you have time visit the Kawakami temple" After that the old man vanished and only left dust.
Seeing the old man leaving, Kazuya carried the bear's corpse and its severed head and ran away from the previous location.
After going hundreds of meters away he stored the bear in his inventory and took out his CR-Unit then left.

Meanwhile, at the Kawakami temple, Tesshin sat and thought of his encounter with Kazuya.
"Maybe he is related to my old friend. I'll take a visit to him then. But he is an interesting fellow nonetheless, maybe my granddaughter has finally met her match. Hohoho"
