Immediately Wen Fei Fei reached her room, she had the attendant pack up. Things had gotten out of hand and the Xie family would never let her off.

She quickly arrived before her suspended Techno car and dove in. Cars like this were generally mind controlled and reinforced with gamma metal.

A product of the combination of the universe's most impressive metals that had gone through thousands of years of research.

Higher grades of the Techno cars could be controlled with spirit energy but she decided to settle for this one since she was a Green phase Spirit master.

High grade Techno cars were also physically tasking and she was already high strung from planning their escape. She needed her physical energy if she wanted to get her child to safety.

She mentally issued her commands and the car eased into the busy streets of the Capital planet. Her attendant also drove another car on a different route to confuse any potential trailers.

She drove on for a while before reaching a different street. The situation wasn't good. This street was usually one of the busiest but now it was completely empty.

She laughed bitterly. They were already anticipating her actions. Even if she'd given them all the resources, they wouldn't let her off!

She buckled her child to her chest and increased the speed of the Techno car. She'd just gotten past the third intersection when several Techno cars blocked the way in front.

She cursed. They were high grade cars. She swerved and drove inbetween two incoming cars as she pressed on with all her might. Her body was rigid and her head was beginning to ache.

Just a while more and she'd be out of this street.

The rear of the car was hit and the interior was beginning to fill up with white gas. Although techno cars did not remit GHG as it ran on electricity, the gamma metals gave off this white gas when damaged.

This gas was not harmful to the human body generally but prolonged exposure could poison one's spirit sea.

Wen Yu stared wide eyed at the happenings around him. He'd thought his mother was unnecessarily paranoid when she rushed to leave the Xie mansion but now he wasn't so sure.

Was they any need to go after their lives just because he had a low rank spirit potential?

His little heart was beginning to beat so fast. He didn't want to die again. The first time was a fluke and he managed to be reborn in this world, but the next time he might not be so lucky. He might just be directly sent to hell.

He grabbed onto the sides of the strap as he stared at the sweat droplets on his mother's face. The gas was getting heavier and if they remained in the car it might become increasingly harder to stay awake due to poisoning.

Remaining in the car, they could go into coma from spirit sea poisoning. Leaving the car and they would be disintegrated to tiny bits by the trailers.

Time was running out. Wen Fei Fei frowned. She looked back to the chasing cars, they were toying with her. High grade Techno cars didn't need to take this long to catch up with her.

The aim of this development was to increase the comfort of the citizens who were transported out of the original Earth when it first collapsed. She was glad for that at this moment.

The car speedily drove towards the coordinates while she took off the energy dispersing ring to clip on her son's wrist in order to reduce the pressure on him caused by the speed. The size could be adjusted so it was easy.

She put on oxygen masks on the both of them and ignoring the heavy pressure on her chest due to the high speed, she eased her spirit energy bit by bit into the Techno car to further increase its speed.

The AI's warnings increased in the gas filled car.

She had just two minutes left and it would take three minutes to get to the forest if they continued at 450km/hr. Using her spirit energy at this stage was extra tasking because this particular techno car depended mostly on AI, but she had no choice.

It was odd, the trailers should have blockers who could have hacked into the system by now to take over the car but all they did was mindlessly chase after her. She looked back.

At first she'd assumed they were just toying with her but that made no sense. There was definitely another group of people holding them back.

Problem was, she had no idea whether they were friend or foe. She soon arrived at the forest and the car was giving out gas in massive waves.

She blinked away the mist in her eyes and looked back. The trailers were gone. Amidst the warnings of the AI, she kicked the door open and jumped out of the Techno car with her child.

It was an eight feet drop. She encased her son protectively as she rolled down the uneven ground.

The techno car crashed into a huge tree and exploded to bits. She quickly stood up, pulled off the oxygen masks and ran off with her child.

She had scratches all over and had no idea where she was headed but she kept running without stopping. She had her bracelet to show her the way and seal the scratches later anyways.

Speaking of her bracelet, she'd tried reaching out to the authorities the minute she got on the road but it was futile, she was blocked.

She held on to her child as she ran until she arrived at another street. She'd barely sighed in relief when she felt a heavy pressure baring down on her soul.

Tears gathered in her eyes as she looked up. This was more than the Xie family feud. The Xie family wouldn't send a Mecha operator after them.
