Ten Super Creatures

Gin followed Ning Yue's group. He was brought into a place covered in various steel pipes. These pipes acted like a cage but it was useless against the creature inside. It was just to make the guards feel safe. Also, with this, they could potentially manipulate the creature's movement by blocking its vision and leaving one side open. The creature inside was sleeping and its huge body carpeted the whole area. It has a length of ten meters and its body was protected by a tough carapace.

It was a giant centipede.

Judging from the aura, it was a super creature. Finally, his second super creature has arrived. It was worth it to cooperate with a huge influential family. They could locate super creatures but they didn't have the ability to hunt them.

"Good..." Gin smiled in satisfaction. He stepped forward and began to approach the cage.

Ning Yue raised his hand as he ordered his men to stand back. He focused his attention on Gin's every movement.

The centipede noticed Gin's presence. It raised its gigantic head as its legs began to clatter. In an instant, it tore the cage and swiftly charged at him with insane speed.

"Ehe~ come!" Gin smiled wildly. He gathered his Devil Qi in his fist and when the centipede arrived in front, he heavily threw his fist.

Bang!!

A loud sound erupted.

The scene left Ning Yue and the others' mouths hanging agape. They were flabbergasted by what happened.

Gin's fist tore through the hard carapace of the centipede and destroyed its brain. Its flesh exploded and its brain scattered everywhere.

He made it look like it was easy to slay a super creature.

"That's impossible...?" One of the people exclaimed.

The others also reacted the same way. Their faces were filled with disbelief. It was impossible for humans to be this strong in the First God's Sanctuary. They thought that it would be a hard and bitter battle but it seems that they underestimate him too much.

They just thought that even if Gin was strong, he would only be on par with a super creature. But the reality was that he was much stronger than a super creature. They even thought that he was the super creature here.

"This... He's as strong as a top-notch Evolver." Ning Yue muttered. He was equally baffled. It was hard to imagine how and why this guy was so strong.

Ning Yue stared at Gin for a while. Then, he noticed something happened to the body of a super creature. It slowly dissolved leaving a piece of crystal on the ground.

Gin crouched down and picked up the life essence.

"Is that the life essence you are talking about?" Ning Yue asked as he gazed at Gin's hand.

"That's right. According to our deal, all life essence belongs to me." Gin answered as he placed the life essence in his pocket. He checked the notification and said, "I haven't gotten any beast soul. Let's move to the next area to see if I can get some."

Ning Yue thought of stealing the life essence but he shook his head and dismissed this idea. In this place, there's no doubt that Gin was the strongest one. Even the people that participated in the Divine Bout weren't as strong as him.

They couldn't even kill a super creature so how could they deal against a being that surpassed that level? Before getting to that idea, they would have to kill a super creature first. Or else they would be insects in front of him.

"Follow me." Ning Yue said.

Gin followed Ning Yue to the next site. The same thing happened. Gin easily killed the super creature there. This time, everyone didn't doubt his strength.

The same thing happened to the other site. He killed the super creature as soon as he got on site and took its life essence. The only thing that made them take so long was the travel time between each site. The longest one took them almost three hours before they arrived.

Just like that, Gin killed super creatures and gained ten life essences. He also received one beast soul and gave it to Ning Yue. A deal is a deal, after all.

He wouldn't be so greedy to take beast soul when he benefited with this deal so much. It was thanks to them that he was able to complete his quest faster than he expected. So he was a little bit grateful to them.

The super beast soul was a bow.

Gin didn't hide anything. He only got one beast soul from ten super creatures. The bow was good and powerful but using it was hard. Pulling the string alone required a lot of strength. Well, it wasn't his problem anymore since he gave it to Ning Yue.
