1 Prologue

"I'm sorry Mr. Daniel, but I have to fire you." a calm voice rang in his ears again and again while he was walking towards his house. His name is Daniel and he just got fired from his job in a clothing store. Rumors were going on that he was skimming money for himself when the ones who made the stories only said that to fire him.

'I'll just find another one tomorrow.' said Daniel to himself. He was already used to this happening even though he looked young because he experienced the harsh reality at a young age. He is an orphan, and he was found on a doorstep of an orphanage by the owner of the orphanage in a basket. The orphanage raised him, but he was often bullied by his fellow orphans, sometimes stealing his food, or even money gave to him as an allowance.

Then he turned eight, and he always got beaten up by the bullies in the school for no reason whatsoever. He clenched his fist while seeing other children laughing with their parents, some holding hands. Some children were riding a piggyback ride on the backs of their parents. He too also longed for the warmth of a mother or a father, but he never got the chance. The only thing in his possession that was from his parents was a necklace with a blue crystal of some sort. The owner of the orphanage never tried to steal it and kept it in his person until Daniel reached the age of seven and gave it to him.

'I will find my parents.' Daniel vowed to himself, but after a year, a family adopted him. The family was lovely and caring. They gave Daniel a home he can adapt too. Daniel felt the love he longed for and forgot about finding his birth parents. Daniel spent seven happy years with his family. But when he turned 16, an unfortunate thing happened.

"There was a report of a car crash on the road, and inside the care, two people were found but the situation of the two is still unknown. The car seems to be a blue convertible car with the license plate of XXXXX. We don't have a match on the people inside yet, but if you know them, please contact the police or head down here to identify them." a reporter said on the news. Daniel broke down to pieces when he heard the news, and went outside of the house, and headed towards the police station near where the accident occurred.

The police said that the two did not survive and were dead on arrival at the hospital. Since then, Daniel lived on his own. He got the house, and money from insurance and from the owner of the vehicle that killed his parents, who is now facing life sentence in prison. Daniel studied while working, even though he had money because that is what his parents taught him.

After that, two months pass, he worked a lot of jobs, from a junkyard boy to a sales clerk, but he always gets fired on every job. But the case was still because he had jealous co-workers that wanted him gone. Every single job he got fired from was never because he did something terrible, but was only because of rumors.

Daniel entered the house and lay down on the sofa. School hasn't started yet and will begin next week so he has a lot of free time. He was skimming on his phone for a new novel to read. He got hooked up on reading stories, especially one with magic on it. Some books need a month to update a chapter so he needs completed novels or books that are updating daily.

"Transmigration to a Magical World?" Daniel read the title of a book on his phone. He was immediately intrigued. Transmigration and Rebirth novels were his favorite. He once dreamt of having magic, so

he could have looked up his past to see who his parents are, or he could have saved his other parents from dying in a car crash. Remembering it made his heart break into a million pieces. Since the

Daniel wiped the tears from his face and tapped the link on the story. Immediately, the shard necklace his birth parents left on his person glowed. Daniel wore the pendant but did not seem to notice it glowing.

'I feel sleepy. Better sleep first, and after I sleep, I will do an all-nighter and read this story.' Daniel grinned at the thought. He stood up and went to the bedroom, which is a king-sized bed. Daniel then closed his eyes and went to sleep.

In the dream, he found himself in another realm with magic in it. There were people everywhere using magic, and some are using it to tame beasts, some are using it to heal others, some are even using magic to make potions. Daniel observed everything down there and hoped to make it there.

"Son, I hope you hear this message. Your mother and I sent you to this world called Earth because there were dangers in our world. If you understand this, then that must mean you have reached the age where you have seen the harsh reality of the world. We wanted to train your thought before giving you a chance to become a wizard. Our genes are living in you even if you are living on another person's body. Your potential will skyrocket, but along with it, are enemies from all over the world. Remember, a great evil has infiltrated the world, and only you can stop it, but you can't stop it alone. You must build an army of trusted friends to help you on your journey. Your mother and I love you very much. We hope to see you soon when you reach the level where you can go to us." a voice echoed in his head, which made Daniel confused.

'Son? Living in another person's body? A wizard? What is that guy saying,' Daniel thought and suddenly had an epiphany. 'SON?!?!' that word echoed in his head over and over again.

'Was that my real father? How did he send that message and what does he mean by living in another person's body? How is any of this making any sense?' there were tons of questions in Daniel's mind right now.

'I must be dreaming. I should wake up now.' Daniel thought and tried to wake up, which he successfully did, but the next thing he saw made him think he's still dreaming.

'WHAT THE?!?!' Daniel screamed in his mind but couldn't finish saying the sentence because of how surprised he was.
