A Baby; A Teacher

Daniel looked at his surroundings and saw a big room with chandeliers and expensive paintings. That was a little shocking, but that is not what made him so shocked. The thing that made him so shocked is that he is inside a baby's body!

"GUGU," Daniel tried to scream, but he could only make little noises that sounded so cute. Daniel tried to stand up, but his baby's legs are so weak that he can't stand, so he decided to crawl, but Daniel was on a crib, he grabbed the crib but couldn't break it.

Daniel felt the urge to cry like a baby. He was on a baby's body, so crying was like a part of a baby, but Daniel did not cry and only crawled back to the spot and laid there, closing eyes, pretending to be asleep. Since the surroundings are peaceful, Daniel decided to think things through.

'Why am I here? Was this because of that voice in my head? What is this place?' Daniel had questions on his mind that no one can answer him. In the meantime, he believed what the voice said on his head earlier.

Daniel analyzed the situation. He is a smart boy that was going to a college scholarship on Earth next week. That is also a reason why all of his co-workers were jealous of him.

While Daniel closed his eyes, a man with a robust build wearing a robe with intricate patterns and a crown on his head came in and inspected the boy. He looked at Daniel with love since this was his son. The doctors reported that the baby inside his wife's belly was going to die an early death, meaning that the child would die a few minutes or a few hours after the child came into the world.

When they heard the news, they were miserable but still proceeded to give birth to the child. The child was a day old, but it looked like it was sleeping peacefully. "The doctors were wrong." the man said joyously, but what he did not know that this was not the same child his wife gave birth to a day ago. The man picked up Daniel, which made Daniel, open his eyes, and look at the man who was supposed to be his father.

Daniel saw the affection of a man that was looking at his son. Daniel longed for a father's love. In his previous life, he wanted to feel a mother and a father's love. The man laughed while holding Daniel that he's eardrums were about to burst.

Daniel wanted his father to stop, but couldn't do so. "Max, what are you doing with the child? Are you hurting him?" a woman said behind the man. Daniel saw a woman in a dress with a tiara on her head. She saw Daniel look at him, and she smiled.

"Haha, Dana, the doctors were wrong. The child of mine, Max, will not die." Max said before placing Daniel down on the crib and hugged her wife. Dana smiled and hugged back, but when she felt something on her back, she struggled.

"Max, let's not do it in front of the child." Dana pouted, and Max laughed. Daniel saw this and became disgusted. 'Why are they doing this in front of a child?' Daniel wanted them to do it somewhere else, so he crawled to the end of the crib and put his hands on the bars on the cradle.

"AHHH," Daniel shouted, which made his parents look at him. Dana struggled free and took Daniel on his arms. Max laughed and said to Daniel: "You hate that little man?" then Max spanked Dana's, but and Dana blushed.

"GUGU," Daniel wanted to say to them to go to another room, but he still can't speak. 'I give up' Daniel thought and he decided to close his eyes and pretend to be asleep.

"Our son will be a great wizard," Max said, which made Daniel open his eyes. 'Wizard?' that word which was impossible to achieve on Earth, was in this world?

Dana nodded as she also believed that. The Magic in this world consists of Elemental Magic, Holy Magic, Necromancy, and many else. Only those with a talent for Elemental Magic can learn Elemental Magic.

Max and Dana went out of the room and left Max, who was wide awake. He was left all alone, thinking about the magic in this place. It was his dream to wield magic, but he does not know how to use it.

"You need help?" a voice rang, which made Daniel wary of his surroundings but didn't see anyone there. "I'm inside your head, Daniel." the voice spoke again, which made Daniel confused.

A wisp came out of Daniel's body and formed into a man. The man looked young, his eyes full of vigor, and his body was robust. The young man said: "Nice to meet you, Daniel, my name is Sam."

'I must be dreaming again.' Daniel thought, which made Sam laugh. "You are not dreaming, I am real." the man said, which made Daniel shocked.

"You must be wondering I am here?" Sam said, and Daniel nodded his baby head. "Well, your parents sent me here to guide you into the world of magic," Sam said to answer Daniel's question, which made Daniel's eyes lit up.

'You're gonna teach me magic?' Daniel thought, and Sam nodded. "Yes, as you know it, the world is facing a calamity. Before you know it, everyone will die. When you were born, your parents sensed the great power in you. The power that can defeat this evil, so your parents sent you to Earth to experience life. When I felt you were ready, I sent you here to teach you magic." Sam said.

Daniel nodded because he heard from the voice transmission in his head earlier that he had the power to defeat this great evil, but he can't do it alone and must find friends to help him. But there is one question that bugged him relentlessly.

'Where the heck would I find people to help me in this world I know nothing about?'
