40 Semifinal Round (Part III)

Somewhere inside the arena …

There were private VIP rooms that were designated for the members of each noble clans.

Each noble clan had their own private VIP room.

Outside of the rooms were powerful bodyguards securing the entrance, this was for security measures to avoid any trespassers and to check anyone before getting inside.

[-In the VIP room of Jade Clan-]

"Have you done what I asked you to do?" the headmaster of the Jade Clan asked one of his generals.

"Yes … Master!" immediately replied by the general who was standing near him.

While the servants were serving food to the headmaster.

"I am excited, father! I wonder what will happen to the disciples of Master Wushu … Would they be able to prove themselves as the undefeated champions? Even if we tamper with semifinals? I am excited to see, father!" enthusiastically expressed by the daughter of the headmaster of Jade Clan.

"Me too, darling! We will see if they can manage to keep their undefeated reputation. The school that I detest the most!" The headmaster of Jade Clan stated his opinion regarding the school of Master Wushu.

"Because of their master, am I right father?"

"Yes … you are!" confirmed by the headmaster of the Jade Clan.

Meanwhile …

In the designated dungeon for the team of Hawks,

They started to warm up while waiting for their target.

"For this round, we have an easier task to do … defeat our target in the fastest possible way, right?" Billy tried to confirm this from his fellow disciples.

"Yes! And as soon as the -Armored Titan- appear in front of us, we must use our most powerful technique." Maya suggested to Billy.

But Hawks had a better plan.

"Somehow you are right, Maya! But Me and Billy will use our most powerful technique while you use all your power to immobilize our target. Just focus on paralyzing the movement of our target. Do you understand? With that he will get a direct hit from us." Hawks instructed to his teammates.

"And how about me?" Shams asked.

"You can do what you want … Just do not put yourself in danger or else we have to save your ass. Make sure you are not a liability and that will be your biggest contribution." Hawks replied the query of Shams

Words of Hawks were clearly had a tone of underestimating Shams' capabilities for the semifinal round.

It made Shams infuriated deep inside.

"We will see who will be a liability and will be needing some saving … I will be at the back, just do not die on me. I am planning to use my new technique which I came up with. It is a powerful technique that will be needing some time to execute. So, while I prepare the technique … don't die on me!" Shams declared to his teammates.

Billy and Hawks laughed at Shams.

"I admire your confidence, bud!" Billy head locked Shams and tousled his hair.

"You are delusional boy!" Hawks mocked at Shams.

Maya had a curious look on her face regarding what Shams had in his sleeves regarding the new technique he wanted to try.

"Do not worry! We will keep you safe …" Maya reassured Shams.

Moments after …

The signal for the start of the semifinals was alarmed.

It took the attention of everyone.

A huge gate opened few meters away from the team of Hawks.

Then a pair of red eyes flashed behind the shadows.

"RAAAAAWWWRRR" a loud scream was released by the armored titan.

The ground shook from every step it made.

Trying to rush towards the team of Hawks.

"Maya … NOW!" Hawks signaled to Maya.

Immediately Maya showcased her power.

She made the gravity around the -Armored Titan- heavier.

"Gravitational force field <100>!!!" Maya released a powerful gravitational force field around the armored titan.

For a moment, the movement of the armored titan slowed down.

"Maya! The target is still moving!" Hawks reminded Maya to immobilize their target.

"I am trying here! So do not rush me …" Maya responded to the complain of Hawks.

"Gravitational force field <500>!!!" Maya released a more powerful gravitational force field around the armored titan.

It made the armored titan to fall into its knees from the powerful force released by Maya.

"Now! Billy! Let us target the nape area of the armored titan. To completely behead him." Hawks signaled Billy for their moment to attack.

Both of them released their most powerful technique and targeted the agreed area.

Hawks released his most powerful technique from the air with his tamed beast releasing a thunder strike rushing from the side.

At the same time, Billy released his most powerful disintegrating punch combined with a powerful explosive technique.

Unfortunately,

Even with the combined strength and power of Hawks and Billy.

The armored Titan remained intact.

"What?!? How is that possible?" Hawks wondered while flying on top with his wings made up of ki flapping mid-air.

"Are you fucking kidding me? Not even a scratch?" Billy was more surprised as well.

"Guys, I can't hold him for too long … He is resisting my gravitational force field!!!" Maya was the one having the most difficult time.

Due to the task of keeping the target immobilized.

"We will try again! So use your all in keeping him down." Hawks requested from Maya while flying above the armored titan.

"I will try!" Maya replied.

"Billy! Again …" Hawks instructed Billy to do their combined attack once again.

Even before they could land their second attack, the armored titan used its full strength to resist Maya's technique.

She screamed in frustration, "Aaaaahhhhh!!!"

Her powers were not enough to restrain the armored titan.

The armored titan threw its shield towards Hawks.

Despite the attempt of Hawks evading the attack of the armored titan, the shield of the armored titan was like a boomerang which it spun directly back towards the armored titan but it successfully hit the left wing of Hawks.

Rendering Hawks out of balance and falling to the ground.

Fortunately, his tamed beast caught him on time.

And then the armored titan launched a powerful strike towards Billy.

Billy used the ground to cover him.

"Haaaawwwks HEEEELP !!! I don't think I can hold his attacks any longer." Billy desperately asked for the help of Hawks.

Their leader was about to ask for Maya to use her powers again.

But he saw her on her knees, greatly weakened.

It dawned on Hawks that they are in trouble.

He was about to scream for Shams support but he remembered Shams reminded them to give him time for him to prepare his new powerful technique.

"Damn it!" Hawks vented his frustration at the thought of being in a desperate situation.

Unknown to all of them, they are facing a different level of armored titan.

A more powerful and savage one.
