Evaluation

[-In the Social Welfare & Registry Department Building-]

{-Fourth Floor-}

Everyone made way for Master Wushu and Feilong.

For the School of Master Wushu,

The participants are,

[1] Feilong, known grand slam champion in the Senior Division.

[2] Shay, former Rank #2 in the Senior Division.

[3] Ruh, former Rank #4 in the Senior Division.

[4] Ganki, former Rank #5 in the Senior Division.

'Are those the former …' whispered loudly by one of the participants.

'Shhh … You are being too loud, remember they do not like hearing their name from other people's mouth. You may get in trouble with them if you mistakenly mention their names.' Another participant explained to his colleague.

Participants turned their heads on the direction of Master Wushu and his {Apprentice-Ranked} disciples.

"Master, are you sure that it was a good idea to leave Ryoku with Hawks and the other young ones?" Feilong aired his concern.

"Do not worry, if he does any foolishness and create any trouble for the school. I will personally punish him myself." Master Wushu declared.

It was the first time Feilong heard Master Wushu mention about punishing Shams with his own hands.

All disciples already accepted the fact that Shams was the most favored and spoiled disciple of Master Wushu due to him being the youngest disciple. In addition, Shams literally was raised within the walls of the school making him close to everyone.

Ruh and the other {Apprentice-Ranked} disciples of Master Wushu looked at each other in their surprise that Master Wushu would punish Shams with his own hands.

As they get near to the reception area for the registration,

There he was, the former disciple of Master Wushu.

Standing alongside his own disciples.

"It is an honor to meet you once again, Master Wushu!" Greeted by the familiar voice.

"Hmmm … Narcisso …" Master Wushu acknowledged the greeting of his former disciples.

Despite leaving his master's school, he still showed respect towards the person who took care of him and taught him a lot of things.

But there were irreconcilable things that led to his departure.

Even though Narcisso showed his respect to Master Wushu, Feilong and the rest could not fathom the presence of a traitor that left and went against their master.

Feilong immediately followed Master Wushu and did not even bother to exchange pleasantries or any greetings at all with Narcisso.

While they walk further, Narcisso held Shay's wrist.

This made Shay lose her temper and released her wrist by force.

"Do not force me to do something that we will both regret, Narcisso!" Shay warned Narcisso.

"I just want to …" before Narcisso could finish his words, Shay interrupted him.

"You made a choice. Live with it! As I made mine … I chose loyalty!" Shay emphasized the word loyalty like an acid thrown at Narcisso's face.

From that point Narcisso knew it is pointless to insist in having a conversation with Shay.

Shay walked away and never looked back at Narcisso.

"Who was that master?" asked by one of the disciples of Narcisso.

"Just someone I used to know." Painful words that came out from Narcisso.

For a moment there was a doubt and question if he did the right thing but afterwards his usual sinister and dark look took over once again.

"Let us just prepare to win this tournament. I won't accept any losses, even one!" Master Narcisso warned his disciples.

All together they replied in unison, "Yes, master!"

When Master Wushu and his disciples reached the reception area,

"There are slight changes for this year. Before the formal registration, a standard procedure of evaluation must be followed." The assigned staff member informed Master Wushu.

"How the evaluation will be done?" Master Wushu asked the lady staff member of the organizing committee.

"This way please, we will discuss at the moment …" answer of the lady staff.

Feilong and the rest followed the lady staff.

Meanwhile,

{-First Floor-}

As Hawks and the rest were led for evaluation,

"What taking Rankuza and Ryoku so long?" Maya became concerned for the two.

"Don't worry, definitely they will not get lost here. Just focus in the evaluation." Billy comforted Maya to ease her worry.

"You're right!" Maya's reply to Billy.

The three of them were wearing their navy blue training suits. Both Hawks and Billy had training pants and sleeveless top while Maya was wearing mini-training shorts and sleeveless top as well.

But compared to the two, she was wearing a black gauntlet with her fingers exposed.

"Okay let's begin with the evaluation. All you need to do is do your best in removing this huge boulder out of the way. You can either destroy it or transfer it to another place. It is up to you … The only objective is to remove it out of the circle. If you choose to destroy it, then there must be no remnants of the boulder, even a speck. And if you choose to transfer it to another place, I must warn you that this huge boulder weighs 5 tons and has defensive particles that make it difficult. Lastly, you will only have 3 attempts in moving the huge boulder then you will be evaluated accordingly by one of the referees of the tournament." Explained by the staff member of the organizing committee.

"Is the weight of the boulder the same with other divisions?" Hawks curiously asked.

"Oh, no! Each division has 10 Tons added weight." The staff member cheerfully answered Hawks' query.

Then she continued, "Should we start? Who goes first?"

"Me! Let me go first Hawks … I wanted to stretch out badly. Our travel got my muscles all numb. Time to loosen up." Billy requested to Hawks.

Both Hawks and Maya stepped aside to let Billy have his moment.

Billy stood in front of the huge boulder and focused in gathering his ki around his two hands.

"Hiya!" chanted by Billy.

He used his full force in pushing the huge boulder and effortlessly it moved away from the circle and thrust forward in few meters.

"Phew! I am glad it worked, I was planning to use my ultimate move in case it won't fully go out from the circle. Good thing, I did not have to go that far." Billy expressed with relief.

There was a gagging reaction from the audience who watched the evaluation of Billy, including the evaluator and the staff members were surprised that in one try … the huge boulder moved completely out from the circle.

"My turn …" Maya went forward.

Stretching her arms and she began focusing on the huge boulder.

In few seconds, the huge boulder weighing 5 Tons elevated a bit and started moving completely out of the circle.

Also in one try, Maya successfully removed the huge boulder.

Another gagging reaction from the audience who watched the evaluation of Maya, including the evaluator and the staff members were surprised that in one try … the huge boulder moved completely out from the circle.

Maya exhaled after successfully moving the boulder away from the circle.

Some of the bystanders and participants that witnessed Maya could not help but feel impressed with the showcase of her prowess and supernatural ability.

'What a mental fortitude she has! Dang it, I bet she has some crazy techniques on her sleeves.' Whispered loudly by some of the participants watching the evaluation of the young disciples of Master Wushu.

"Finally … My turn!" Hawks positioned himself in front of the huge boulder.

Compared to physical strength, Billy was tremendously stronger than Hawks. So, Hawks thought of a different way of moving the boulder.

"Thor … Time to release your energy blast!" Hawks commanded his tamed beast.

Thor was the given name of his tamed beast, a rare Alpha wolf.

Once a tamed beast has been given a name, the naming process increases the power of the beast tamer and the beast itself.

At the sight of Thor releasing an energy blast from its mouth, and at the same time, Hawks released a powerful energy blast as well.

It was a combination of two types of energy blast …

Everyone gagged in surprise that Hawks was able to do such an impressive move.

Almost obliterating the entire huge boulder despite its defensive particles. And it moved completely away from the circle. To such point it landed against the farthest wall while a portion of the boulder got impaled to the wall due to the strong and powerful impact.

No one even dared to look directly at Hawks due to their fear of him.

It was allowed in the evaluation to be assisted or to use the tamed beast of any cultivator, as long as the tamer of the beast will be the only one permitted to use it for the evaluation.

Moments after their evaluation and completing their registration.

They compared each other's results from the evaluation.

Possible results for the evaluation are,

{-Class S-},

{-Class A-},

{-Class B-},

And {-Class C-}.

"I am Class S … Woah!" Billy exclaimed.

"Me too, Class S! How about you Hawks? Why are you fidgeting? Didn't you get a Class S result?" Maya curiously asked Hawks.

"It's not that … I also got Class S. I have a bad feeling, where is Rankuza and Ryoku? We are already done with the evaluation and the registration."
