79 Returning

Meng and Yufeng were shortly transported back to the cave from where they have disappeared first.

"Yufeng, do you know anything about Illusory Demon Realm or Illusory Demon Royal Family?" Meng felt like he could truly ask her anything by now which gave him much more options how to get to the truth of the Illusory Demon Realm.

"Eh? I only know of its existence and that's pretty much it. I have never been invested in outside matters of my sect, if you really need to ask someone regarding Illusory Demon Realm, you will have to meet my father...he might be able to help you" Yufeng said before blushing a bit when she mentioned her father. She could already expect his outburst when he discovers that she has once again fallen for someone but this time junior and even much weaker. Obviously, her father won't believe her even if she will tell him that Meng is much stronger than he looks.

"Your father...? Um...this kind of matter is actually more delicate and I doubt your father would help me as it might brand him as a traitor of his sect if he is discovered." Meng said with a troubled expression.

"W-What?!" Yufeng was completely shocked when she heard Meng's words and mostly confused too as she had absolutely no idea what kind of matter Meng wanted to discuss with her father.

"Well, where should I start-" Meng went on to explain how he has met Yun Canghai who is also branded as Demon sealed beneath the Heavenly Sword Villa's Sword Management Terrace.

"And you trust this old man's words? This is simply too dangerous, even if it's the truth, you won't gain much from helping him or sneaking around to obtain such information. I can easily obtain information regarding the location of Illusory Demon Realm for you." Yufeng frowned and disagreed with Meng's intentions.

"...Well, my intentions were to discover the truth and if what that "demon" told me is the truth. I might as well free him after all, your sect would one day inevitably become my enemy. By freeing him, I would be creating an even bigger conflict between Illusory Demon Realm and Sacred Grounds. Also...I found it a bit strange that they are keeping him alive all these years, I think that demon might have something valuable inside his Pocket Dimension or they are using him as a bait to get something from Illusory Demon Realm." Meng explained but now that his strength increased by a lot, he started thinking about what would be the best course of action. He could free Yun Canghai and make some connections in Illusory Demon Realm but they still ultimately have a conflict with Sacred Grounds that could be said to be the entire Profound Sky Continent.

He had no idea what kind of ambitions those "demons" have but he would rather not have them invade this continent and wreak havoc.

"*sigh*...Ever since I resolved myself to leave, I no longer care that much about my sect but can you at least promise me that my father won't get caught up in this mess, please? I will try to obtain that information regarding the history between Illusory Demon Realm and Sacred Grounds on my own." Yufeng released a long sigh before replying in a defeated manner.

"Don't worry, even if I and your father won't see eye to eye, I will make sure nothing happens to him. You have my word!" Meng said with a reassuring smile.

Yufeng felt a bit weird that she thought Meng's words were truly reassuring when he is just at Sky Profound Realm but he is speaking about protecting someone at Sovereign Profound Realm. Despite how funny it sounded, she trusted Meng's firm words.

"Before we go visit your Mighty Heavenly Sword Region, I would like to make a small visit at New Moon City, to check up on my sect. I have been feeling a bit restless regarding that." Meng said with a bit worried tone before he ascended to the sky and Yufeng followed closely behind him, hiding under the cloak. She wanted to hide her face just to not cause any inconveniences for Meng, she also didn't want others to talk ill about him since there were still rumors about her divorce. If she were to be seen with Meng, it could create unnecessary trouble for him.

It took them a few days to arrive at the New Moon City. Every disciple of the Iron Spear Clan turned ecstatic when they saw Meng descend to the ground. Those that already knew him started bombarding him with questions about how come he is already at Sky Profound Realm and the mysterious woman hiding under the cloak garnered a lot of attention too, most of the disciples connected the dots and started throwing Meng a "knowing" smugs. Meng also noticed from a few signs that this was no longer Iron Spear Clan but instead they named themselves shortly Spear Sect

To his fortune, the elders quickly arrived after hearing the commotion outside and dragged him out of this mess.

"Little Meng! It's good to see you again, I was starting to think that you ditched us, haha!" Tie Zhancang, the sect's current master said before laughing aloud.

"Can't say I didn't think about it at all, heh" Meng replied in a humorous manner with a wide smile. He kinda missed that hearty laugh from Tie Zhancang, he was probably the only fatherly figure Meng would have if Meng wouldn't be already mentally old enough. Tie Zhancang always helped him and looked after him and even went along with his suggestions.

Meng understood that it was probably thanks to his talent but Tie Zhancang also has a son who would normally be the inheritor of his position but with Meng's interference, it was apparent that if Meng wanted to become Sect master, many people would choose him over Tie Hengjun. Despite that...Tie Zhancang always supported him and his suggestions, perhaps he saw the brotherhood between Meng and Hengjun so it didn't bother him that much but he was still his father...What father didn't want to have a successful child?

"HAHA, you little!" Instead of being offended by Meng's rude first words after he just returned Tie Zhancang laughed even louder.

"Brother Hengjun, it's good to see you again." Meng nodded his head with a genuine smile towards Hengjun who was standing next to his father with a smile and hands kept behind his back.

"Likewise, by the way, who is this? That is, if you don't mind me asking, brother Meng." Hengjun returned the gesture before his eyes landed on the cloaked woman who kept standing next to Meng, a few inches behind. To others, it didn't look like she was his master or they would have stood shoulder to shoulder even if Meng was the one doing the talking.

"Ah...That's a bit awkward..." Meng replied while scratching the back of his head with a small smile on his face.

"Everyone except for my son out." Tie Zhancang understood so he sent everyone else outside.

When everyone left, Yufeng finally took off her hood and revealed her face which shocked both father and son as they could remember her despite only seeing her a few times.

"W-What? Little Meng, what is going on?" Tie Zhancang questioned with a confused expression as the past rumors have reached even his ears. He couldn't understand why would she be here of all places and together with Meng of all people.

Yufeng just kept quiet while glancing at Meng, wondering what he will do next.

"Well...I guess it's exactly as you suspect." Meng said with a slightly silly smile.

His words caused the family of Tie to widen their eyes before releasing a low "oh". They didn't give him or her any particular look afterward, they just looked quite confused.

"..." A long and painful silence enveloped the room as Hengjun had no idea what to say...he wanted to congratulate Meng but he was afraid that he perhaps misunderstood something.

"HAHAHA, well, we don't dictate our hearts whom will we love, right?!" The long silence was broken by Tie Zhancang's loud laugh before he approached Meng and patted him on his back a few times.

"Let's talk about that later, I am sure you two have more questions but I would first like to know the situation here. I noticed the name of the clan changed..." Meng tried to change the subject but he noticed from the corner of his eye that Yufeng gave him a happy smile with a gentle look in her eyes.

'Looks like he isn't ashamed but more like embarrassed...Hehe~ It's my first time seeing this side of his. For someone who acts above his age, he is unusually adorable when it comes to romance~ If I remember correctly, he said that he truly is older than his bone age shows...does that mean he is inexperienced despite his bone age showing that he is already old enough for marriage? This...suddenly makes me feel very nervous...I also couldn't help but notice that the dragon god blood didn't only change my physical strength...It also restored my hymen.' Yufeng thought before looking down to hide her blushing face.

She had no idea how to feel about this...she was a physically virgin but mentally she wasn't...

"Thanks to your master's pills, after several elders broke to the Sky Profound Realm, we somehow swallowed the entire New Moon City without even trying to do so proactively. Right now, the one who is in charge of New Moon City is none other than our Spear Sect. We have agreed to change the name to brand it as our new beginning and also because more and more people started being interested in joining us, however, there is no need to worry. We are proceeding with the examinations like before, no one can join the sect without being tested by several elders, not even those with connections to someone from the sect because we always investigate everyone's background." Tie Zhancang sat back down on his seat and started explaining.
