Meng started cultivating his Void Imperfection Physique as he needed to advance it to Minor Completion. The worst thing was that he had no idea what is the most effective way of how to train it. Hell Suppressing Physique was relatively easy as it was all about pummeling and getting pummeled, just like metal being hammered. At least this was the most suitable way Meng found how to train it.

As for Void Imperfection Physique...

'Void Imperfection Physique originates from the word "Pure", it grants me a stainless body, untouchable by the laws themselves.' Meng closed his eyes and thought while suddenly feeling as if his body was transported into the middle of the void, slowly rotating and floating around just like before he possessed this body in his soul form. Meng started actively using his Physique to avoid his body being touched by anything, even a simple light.

*Step* *Step* Meng who was heavily sweating with a completely concentrated face and closed eyes suddenly gasped for air when he as if he wasn't breathing the entire time.

"Chu Yueli..." Meng called out with a weak smile when he looked at her, although she already dried her hair with her profound energy, it was still slightly wet and evident that she just had a bath. She was standing some distance away from him, observing him with a thoughtful expression and folded arms.

"Su Meng, can you tell me how does your cultivation method work? I am willing to swear not to tell anybody anything." She said before quickly pricking her finger and let the drop of her blood fall down on the ground.

"...*sigh* Do you know of Yin Yang Combination Art or Dual-Cultivation?" Since she swore even before Meng could reply, he sighed at this display of her curiosity. He had no problem telling her this but the way she was stubborn and headstrong about it was a bit...off-putting.

"?! Of course, I know about the sinister art that allows men and women to raise their profound strength through sexual intercourse!" Chu Yueli narrowed her eyes and said in bad mood but Meng already expected that she wouldn't even want to hear about it.

'She is probably thinking something stupid after hearing me mention this...' Meng thought with a slightly tired expression.

"What are you trying to say?" Chu Yueli calmed a bit and grew kinda curious when Meng called that type of dual-cultivating shallow.

"You can increase your profound strength by having sexual intercourse with "somebody" who has good aptitude but in my opinion cultivation isn't just about fleshly desires. "...Are you saying we just...Dual-cultivated together?" Chu Yueli felt that Meng's words didn't make much sense as to combine Yin and Yang, there needs to be sexual intercourse which is common sense in this world but she still asked with a bit stunned expression.

Meng said, not entirely lying as probably not everyone could Dual-Cultivate without sexual intercourse as he commands Yang energy so he can freely move it, unlike others. If she were to know about it, it might only make her more anxious, making it harder for her to trust Meng as she would be constantly thinking about it.

Thus, this is how both of them started temporarily living inside a cave. The first few days were a bit hard as Chu Yueli had some problems sleeping with Meng in the same room (cave). She looked towards the entrance of the cave and she had to rub her eyes a few times before she knew that what she was seeing was real...

It was currently at the break of the dawn and the sun was currently completely illuminating the front of the cave's entrance where Meng was standing still with his hands held behind his back, looking straight at the sun slowly coming up as if he was greeting it.

Such a sight wouldn't leave her so speechless as she already got used to this habit of his but...She also saw Little Chan standing very close to him occasionally looking at his face before trying to look at what he was looking at but it only got more confused as it continued observing Meng's habits.

'I still can't believe that he broke through into the 1st stage of Earth Profound Realm from the 7th stage of Spirit Profound Realm within just 1 month...' Chu Yueli thought while observing the two of them in front of the cave's entrance.

She also broke through into the 8th Stage of Sky Profound Realm which delighted her but she knew that she was at the 7th stage for some time already so getting into Emperor Profound Realm in the next 5 months seemed a bit unrealistic to her but she didn't really mind it that much as all she could and wanted to do is to use these 5 months to the maximum. She abandoned her goal of reaching the realm of Thrones, instead, her new goal was to become as strong as she can within these 5 months.

Two of them already ventured inside the Wasteland of Death a few times but not before Meng made her swear another oath to never speak of whatever she sees there. She had no problem agreeing to it as she thought that Meng was being a bit too cautious for his own good but she understood how wrong she was when they encountered Peak Sky Profound Ice Beast. At that time she wanted to retreat as soon as possible as she had no chance against such a strong beast, after all, even Peak Sky Profound Practitioner would be troubled to deal with it but Meng refused and just told her to go back if she wants to.

Obviously, Chu Yueli had some pride and she definitely wouldn't run away when junior would be staying behind, however despite deciding to remain and fight...she had no chance to fight it as Meng started fighting it first. At first, she was a bit frightened when she saw him just jumping head-on at the beast but that quickly disappeared and the only astonishment was left within her when she saw both beast and Meng pummeling each other while destroying small mountains in the process with their physical bodies alone. The fight only lasted for a few minutes before the beast died out of exhaustion and accumulation of too many internal wounds.

Since that day...She knew that she can't just offend him. She also realized how foolish it was of her and her elder sister, thinking that they were helping him when they interfered with Fen Moli. As for Fen Moli himself...she now had no doubts that Meng killed him with his own hands.

At first, Meng might have not made good progress but his progress with Void Imperfection Physique and a better understanding of it couldn't be shown on his status as it only showed his current stage.

"Why are you always unmovingly staring at the sun during each dawn for at least 30 minutes?" Chu Yueli approached Meng's side and asked with a curious expression while observing his deep glowing amber eyes. To her, it felt as if nothing else was at the moment could catch his eyes or mind's attention except for the sun in front of them on the horizon.

*Scree* Little Chan released a low happy sound, seeing Chu Yueli, and maybe it was also happy to hear her question as the beast was mostly likely curious too.

"It helps me keeping a sane mind. To me, the sun's very first sun rays at the beginning of each day are very warm and it feels as if they are telling me that they will keep me safe...Don't misunderstand, I don't mean keeping me safe as if my life. It has a bit deeper meaning but I would like to skip that for now. Simply said, the sun makes me feel as if I am not all alone in this world." Meng replied without tearing his eyes away from the sun.

Chu Yueli quietly listened to him while also staring at the sun, her lips trembled a few times before she finally opened her mouth.

"...I have heard that you have no idea what had happened to your parents but...Haven't you made yourself a few friends and allies?"

Was she actually trying to comfort him?

"Heh" Meng released a suppressed laugh before a faint smile appeared on his face.

"I did indeed...but as I have mentioned, my words hold a much deeper meaning to them than Chu Yueli can imagine, however, I appreciate the intentions." Meng said before he felt something rubbing against his left shoulder.

"Yeah, thank you too, Little Chan. However, I am not sad..." Meng said while petting Little Chan's head and staring at the sun with a peaceful smile.

'Su Zhu, it's time for me to learn about formations. Formations are one of the most convenient things I can use almost anywhere. For example, I can use it on the Iron Spear Clan and make them practically completely immune from enemy attacks while I am away.' Meng thought with a serious look in his eyes.

'I can help you with that but studying formations requires numerous years just to understand basics in case the person's comprehension abilities and intelligence are too low.' Su Zhu replied with a calm tone.

'Then give me this cultivation IQ test...' Meng said with determination, looking forward to studying formations as it would be one more thing that could help him free Yun Canghai in case he truly finds out that he is innocent.
