Raden who's still clasping her wrist soon noticed her abnormality as he saw her fist squeezed too tightly, thinking she was still afraid.

He did not wish her to get hurt so he moved his hand down to hers intending to loosen her fist, only did he realize her hand was cold.

A bit surprised, he tilted his head and his eyes fixed on her head which was directed to the ground.

He saw her lift her head and face him with rounded black-raven eyes. Although her lips were pale, honestly, her current expression was a bit silly.

Raden pursed his lips and whispered, "Scaredy cat."

Unfortunately, his teasing turned into a mockery in Arawinda's ears. She immediately snatched back her hand and glared at him.

Was this guy asking for a beating? Surely he did not know that Danastri died in his hands inside this creepy place and how it affect her so much as presently she was replacing her!

But she knew this guy was clueless about it. She could not do anything about it and kept her previous mission tightly. Making this guy recall her in his memories to make sure she won't have many possibilities to die in his hands.

However, even if she wished to achieve it immediately, she was still a mere human after all...not some kind of character in games...

Arawinda glanced at his dumbfounded face, she folded her arms and snorted, fastening her pace to leave him behind.

Stunned a moment, Raden who was about to catch up with her halted his thought. He touched his forehead silently.

... Why should he follow her???

Raden took a deep breath and continued to walk at the same speed.

Not long after, the woman leading their group stopped suddenly in front of a white door, making the group behind her braked their step. She turned her body facing them and stretched her arm showing an inviting gesture with the same business smile, "Please. Another employee will take over from here."

The guards glanced at each other before nodding, "Thank you."

The woman opened the door for them and let them in. Arawinda followed the group and enter the room.

The first which come to her sight was a bunch of vintage wooden benches with white cozy cushions on them in a white patterned room. The hardwood flooring shone by the morning sunlight through the large white window decorated with a light brown window scarf hung on the top, where a long window seat was located.

Arawinda stepped onto the hardwood floor, bypassing the vintage benches and a huge antique bookcase, made her way to the window seat, and sat on it as she took a look outside.

Surprisingly, the scene outside the window was a well-taken care garden, it could be compared to the garden and the yard in the academy.

Arawinda turned her head to observe the others. The guards were sitting at the very back seat while the kids were clustered in front of the bookcase and clamored to pick the book on it.

The villain??

She shifted her gaze to the guy sitting one-meter length beside her and reading a book that who knows when he picked it. Squinting her eyes at him, she felt a bit tangled.

Raden Majidhara, the guy which filled Danastri's memory for almost two years before she got together with the male protagonist, since the beginning where Danastri just got her empty core.

At that time, it was still during the tough times when Danastri received verbal bullying.

Her brother, Harja, who was drowning in deep regret was busy trying to find a way to make his sister's life not as expected, short. He relentlessly earned many achievements just to obtain the golden key to the top library at the academy. Due to that reason, he could not accompany Danastri or even know that his sister had been verbally abused by the students behind his back.

Although actually, the biggest factor was that Danastri did not want to burden her brother with such trivial matters anymore, a problem she was able to handle on her own. This was one of the reasons why her cheerful nature was hidden behind her arrogance. For, only by being arrogant, she could win the argument she faced. At the moments like this, Raden came and filled the void of her brother who was absent and kept her accompany. Rather, he developed feelings for her.

It could be noticed easily as his behavior changed over time. He began to like pinching her cheeks, tucking her hair behind her ears, stroking her head, even playing with her fingers a lot, etc.

When Arawinda thought about these memories, she felt like watching a live high school romance drama...moreover because she was inside Danastri's body, these memories were from her point of view...

Raden, who had been struggling to focus on the book in his hands, couldn't help it anymore. He turned his head to face Arawinda who was staring at him for a long time.

"...Do you want to read this?" Asked him as he waved the book.

Arawinda soon realized that she has stared at him for too long and shamelessly nodded to avoid embarrassment, "Yes."

Raden did not say anything and handed his book without showing any unwillingness, before standing up and approaching the bookcase to get another book.

Peeking at him behind the book, Arawinda soon sighed a relief. She thought he would be annoyed, seems like he was still a patient man even when facing his core snatcher...

Arawinda averted her gaze and read the title of the book in her possession.

Arawinda heard her name being called thus she raised her head from her book and saw yet again another handsome man standing by the door staring at her with a surprised face.

His face triggered a dozen memories inside her head which made her stun her face as well.

She subconsciously stood up and called, "...Brother."

Right, Danastri called him brother as this man grew up together with Danastri and Harja since they were kids.

A smart young researcher and the man who helped Harja in forcing her to awaken her ability which resulted in her empty core.
