"Soooo, is she threatening us or blackmailing us?" Carnelia asked Lythia. 

"A little bit of both." Lythia answered. 

She brought out a jar of wine, two glasses and a bowl for Ruby. 

"Well, let's drink as we wait for him to show up. The news about Tridon's little trip must have made it's way to his ears by now and he will be impatient to return." 

Lythia was speaking of the old deity. News in their realms travelled faster than wind. 

"So which one of us is going to tell him about Scarlet's request or threat?" Carnelia asked Lythia. 

Both deities looked at Ruby and smiled cunningly. 

"Thank you so much for volunteering." Carnelia told the hound. 

On the Blue star, just as Flan said, thanks to Tridon mostly, a whole mess was waiting for her. That darn deity had flooded the entire senior citizens retirement city which she had been planning to name Florida.
