9. Reconnaissance mission

Sindy informed him of the completion of all tasks which he assigned before taking the serum; to equip every android with an enhanced quantum nano suit. This is the best armor suit he has now and with Sindy's capabilities, it is quite easy to imprint the knowledge needed to control the suit into the robots.

The research of all blue prints and other technologies he had purchased. Since there are blueprints for almost everything the eyes could see, so he had to take out a junk of the blueprints and research on a few which he needed for his plan.

The next task was the production of a hundred batches of each blue print researched upon. Every batch is made up of hundred units. Which meant for every item to have ten thousand units.

He also needed some of the robots to specialize in cooking of food he was familiar with, so he allowed Sindy to copy some of his memories related to cooking and to imprint the knowledge of necessary skills into specific androids.

After all tasks are completed he added another priority for production of drones, that is when all tasks are completed. Since he really do not want to risk his robots for now, he plans to use combat drones for reconnaissance and they will be effective when assault is needed.

The Starship already had drones, but these drones are tiny nano drones with two main functions. They either create a shield barrier around the entire ship to defend it, or form groups to generate energy and fire energy beams at enemy ships. They are automatically released around the ship when the ship is under attack.

The list went on with various mining and industrial spacecrafts to vehicles used for extracting variety of Ores. One thing he noticed about the images was the size of the ships. All the ships are palm sized like they are models and not the real thing. They were arranged in a glass shelf occupying a little portion on the large shelf wall.

He curiously enlarged an image and not so surprisingly, it could be rotated to view from all angles. But why is it toy like? did he buy blue prints for toys? Did the manager trick me? No he would not dare right?

Even though he might have been tricked, his expression became even more calm as if he did not care about it. But he knew he was not calm himself. He attached this to his improvement in stats that allows him to keep his emotions in place. After enhancing his gene he could feel that his control over his body reactions and emotions had greatly increased but he still needed time to adapt.

He stopped his thoughts and focused on the panel once more. It went on from industrial and mining ships to space stations, from stations to Assault ships, to shuttle, transport ships, yachts, carrier ships, command ships, sentry towers, satellites, turrets, launchers, droids and drones.

There were also late-modern era technologies such as mobile factories and its equipments, hovering cars, ultra-speed rails, under sea roads and vehicles, aircrafts and a lot of accessories.

After going through the list, he finally saw the large amount of drones and he felt the need to test them. But before that he asked Sindy about the toylike items as he took a seat in the commander's seat at the command center of the starship.

"Sindy, I remember buying blueprints for real ships, why did it turn into toys?"

The sweet voice of Sindy sounded, "They are indeed the real ships commander, due to their size and large quantities, I implemented the function of miniature creations of the manufacturing lab to reduce the size to that you see, in other to safe space. I can directly enlarge it to the original size whenever needed, but can not be reduced once enlarged to its original form."

"That is quite useful Sindy. Good job." Ghengi praised. He really did not know there was such a function before. And he swears he could feel Sindy smiling.

He turned to the list once more and looked at the large amount of drones. There were various kinds of drones including, combat drones, mining drones, logistic drones and salvage drones. And he currently has tens of thousands of each kind.

Just like the others, the automatic upgrade of the tier of the drones to tier 5 seemed natural. Greatly improving their attributes and capabilities. Each kind of drone had three types that corresponds with the output.

Light drones as the name implies have the smallest frame and are mostly the fastest drones. Medium drones has a moderate amount of speed and damage as well as take more damage than light drones. Heavy drones move and track slowly but have high damage and defense compared to the other two drone types.

Apart from the main three types of drones, there is also the sentry drone which is good against long range targets and can not be moved around when activated.

Just then did Ghengi wonder, "Sindy, how do energy supply work for all the ships? There is nothing here talking about that."

"Commander, they are powered with energy cubes. Any item produced by the ship that requires energy to function, is powered by energy cubes that are created with the item with at least ten reservoirs of energy cubes in it."

Ghengi gave out a sigh of relief as these millions of drones are not going to drain him of energy anytime soon. And with that done he ordered for light combat drones to be deployed for reconnaissance. Even though the ship's advanced radar is picking up signals with images, he needs to get closer for detailed footage.

Not long after his command, the screens in the command center showed various live video footage from the drones. He intentionally deployed only light combat drones in teams of ten, as their combat power could be compared to that of some assault ships he encountered at the Eastern coast space station.

As hundreds of teams of light combat drones which are automatically controlled by Sindy were deployed, Ghengi gave several orders to increase his defense line as he waited for the dispatched drones findings.

Ten thousand sentry drones were deployed a few distance away from the ship to take specific positions around the planet-like starship as a line of defense.

He also deployed several radar and signal satellites with laser sentry and turret towers, to the very end of the starship's radar range to increase its radar coverage and greatly reduce surprise attacks. These items were carried to their specified locations by some logistic drones.

Just as the sentry towers were a few light minutes away from their specified locations after being deployed for more than two hours, a signal was received from some reconnaissance teams signaling the target in sight, these targets are some star systems out of the radar's range.

Without even giving the command, Sindy marked the locations and controlled the light combat drone teams near the star systems to approach the locations. With the warp speed of the drones they arrived at their locations in a few seconds.
