Vol. 1 Chapter 11 : Inside thoughts

After soaking in the warm water for a time to clear her mind, she lifted herself up from the barrel and carefully walked out, Grabbing the hides that were beside the barrel, she sat on the cold surface of the high stone where she sat earlier and used one to pat herself dry, another she tied on her back covering her chest like a tube and then another she tied around her waist like a long skirt, but she had another problem: she seemed to have no underwear.

She didn't like the breeze that caressed her thighs as there was a slight gust flowing in through the narrow opening from the entrance, She examined her filthy worn clothing, as well as a pair of saturated panties that had been splattered with water while she was bathing earlier. 'Why hadn't I considered my underwear before washing up?' She smacked herself across the face.

She gathered her clothes, folded them nicely, and set them to the side, then considered returning to her bed by leaning against the stone walls for support, but as she was about to stand up the stinging pain that she thought disappeared when she was washing up came again, Her soles were blazing red after yesterday's run, although there were no visible scratches.

She could not even help herself, so she bit her bottom lip and signaled to the door. "I'm done" A beautiful young orc with two soft ears appeared stepping inside seconds later, pushing aside the rock that had been obstructing the entryway.He dashed up to her side, ready for her next command.

She had never been able to rely on anyone because she was frequently alone, This was her first time asking for help, and it was from someone she barely know, She still was embarrassed to approach him after their prior altercations, but she had no option. With a little murmur, she lifts both her hands up, her head still bowed down."Please help me go back" He chuckled and bent his body to delicately grab her body off the cold surface, noticing her face that was partially visible becoming red again.

She felt hotter than before with her hands around his neck and his arms beneath her thighs, She couldn't stop shivering because the time it took to get back on the bed seemed so long, She just wished to run and hide underneath the quilts. There was a peculiar vibe surrounding them, and when she realized she still didn't have any underwear, she was embarrassed beyond thoughts, and her face has become even scarlet.

She felt the plush covers beneath her while worrying and withdrew her arms back, still not looking at him "Thank you" observing her, He found her embarrassed manner endearing, suppressing the impulse to stroke her head, he replied softly. "I'll send someone here later as I need to monitor the forest for a while." Then silence engulfed them once more. "Okay, please be careful" Her face is now flushed all the way down her neck. He grinned and replied, "I will" and strode out of the cave

She lay down on her back after a while, and the scene from earlier showed up to her thoughts. Her face was about to burst from embarrassment, so she grabbed a blanket and placed it over her face, mumbling under her breath. "What's happening to me?" As she continued to stare at the ceiling, a cute face appeared, it was none other than Conrad

"What's wrong with you?" She was shocked and slammed her skull on his before slumping back, gripping her forehead and groaning. "Please don't materialize in front of me unexpectedly next time; you'll give me a heart attack!" She forced herself up to a seated position, firmly holding her head, and gave him a harsh stare. "Okay I'm sorry it wont happen again" He gave a little pout tying to act cute and it worked

She lowered her head again, still pressing her hand against it, and closed her eyes. "What is it?" A melodious voice came from the top of her head. "You guys are weird" He was referring to the weird atmosphere that had occurred a short while ago "You saw that?!" She nearly bang their heads again when she hastily raised her head, but fortunately he had reacted quickly

"Don't make a sudden move! What is it that has made you so worked up? You were close to hitting me yet again!" Conrad said angrily, "Doesn't your head hurt?" After their heads clashed, she gazed at him since he exhibited no signs of agony, "I have a stronger body than most, also with your strength, even if you hit any of the beast-men here, they wouldn't feel an itch" he tapped his head slowly

"Returning back to the actual matter, you saw what unfolded before?" Her face was starting to heat up once more, she was so embarrassed that she felt compelled to crawl into a hole, She massaged her temples in a circular motion, and a startling notion sprang to her. "How did you see?" She stared at him once more, and he glanced around with his arms crossed "Despite the fact that I remain hidden within your thoughts, I am aware of what is going on in your surrounding"

She widened her eyes and huffed heavily "Isn't that an invasion of my privacy?!" 'Doesn't that mean that what I do he could see them? I took a bath earlier, did he see?!!?' Her eyes widened more with evident fury in them "Did you peek on me earlier in the bath!" 'Gosh i was peeked on by someone who looks like a child!'
