World 4 Part 1: Naughty little Pet

'WELCOME TO THE 4TH WORLD!!'

Jinli blinked her eyes upon hearing the system. The moonlight shone upon her, giving her enough light to scan the surroundings. Jinli was in the middle of nowhere. Tall trees and green grasses leveling her line of sight. 

[Ehh?? Diccu? Where am I?]

'DING! HOST'S NEW CHARACTER'

'Riri, you came from a wealthy clan though they threw you away in the middle of the forest because of your ability' 

[Riri? That's it?]

'OTHER INFORMATION STILL LOCKED'

Jinli brushed her face in dismay, then her gaze went down to her body, which made her surprised. Silver blue long hair and frail snow skin. Her nails were pinkish and so her knees. She felt the hard surface on her back, only to realize that she's leaning on a tree. Jinli shrugged her shoulders and scanned the place under the moonlight. She tried to stand up and supported herself. "What am I even doing here?" 

When she finally lifted her male but feminine body, the nerves on her head started to joggled which made her dizzy. Jinli groaned, but she tried to carry herself. The thin white clothing covering her swayed with the night air. It tickled her skin and made her flinch a little. 

She walked forward, tracing the unknown pathway. Jinli had no idea of what she is and what she's doing there. She didn't even know why she was thrown away.

[Why did they throw me away? Really?! In the middle of the cold forest?!]

Riri strolls the pathway going to the deep forest, hoping that he would find someone to call for help. He's clueless and didn't know where to go in his state. The chilly breeze welcomed him as soon as he reached the heart of the forest. The fog became thicker, and it eliminated the things Riri wasn't expecting.

Yellow and red sharp eyes started to glow along with the darkness as it resounded some growling sounds. Riri felt the chills down to his spine. He hurried in heavy footsteps. Then a figure of that beast with gray fur slowly emerged from the thick fog.

"Ehh?!! What was that?!!!!" Riri's eyes widened. "Is that a wolf?!" he exclaimed before covering his mouth, realizing the sound he shouldn't be making. When he turned his head around, his butt fell on the floor as his system started to tremble. It was too late. The wolves already noticed his presence.

[Ehh?!! Diccu!!!! Help me!!!]

DICCU: You need to fight them if you don't want to run away

A furry and medium-sized wolf stepped forward with its sharp fangs drooling. Preparing itself to jump and devour his frail body. Riri did all his best as he bolted up with his trembling knees, running away deeper in the forest.

"Is there someone here I can ask for help?!" He screamed while gasping with his heavy breaths, still with the wolves chasing him. 

It was too dark and stuffy for him to give attention to his surroundings. The tall and thick trees were also covering the moonlight, so it was very hard for him to catch up. He ran all his might until a twig crack under his feet.

THUD!

Riri stumbles down. One of his legs twisted, which made him winced in pain. He quickly caressed the affected area, trying to lessen the throbbing sensation. But before he could even lift his eyes, a shadow hovered in front of him with a gritting sound. 

"No!! Wait! D-Don't eat m---"

Drops of blood scattered on the ground with a wailing sound. When Riri opened his eyes, he was shocked. The wolf who's drooling over him earlier is now dead. It made him jolted away. "It's dead!!!!!" he exclaimed.

"Yes, it is"

That other voice made Riri jolted for the second time. He slowly lifted his line of sight from those leather boots up to another figure standing in front of him with a sword in one hand. He blinked a few times, still dazed. 

The new figure crouched down. "Come and follow me, this place is not good for you," he said. His husky voice tickled Riri's ears as it delivered something different to his system. He grabbed the hand and then the system rang.

'INFORMATION UNLOCKED'

'World's male lead, Elric Randel, the second prince of the Aldus Kingdom. He came to hunt with his knight but got lost because of the thick fog.'

"Hey, are you okay? Can you walk?" Elric tapped the other male on the shoulder and inspected him from head to toe. "It's too cold here. Why are you only wearing such thin clothing?" Upon saying this, he untucked his black cloak and wrapped it around Riri's shoulders.

It astounded Riri for a second. He blushed after feeling the warmth of the thick cloak on his body. 

"Can you walk?"

Riri quickly stood up, but when he was about to make a step, he fell onto the man's chest. "Hmph!" he groaned when his ankle throbbed in pain. His palms felt the hard surface, and it made him flinch. "S-Sorry!"

Elric ignored it and turned his back. "You injured your ankle, I'm going to give you a piggy ride" he gestured his hands beside his waist, telling the other male to hop on his back. 

[Ehh?!!! This male lead is too kind!]

DICCU: You might be in trouble again if you refuse his help

[I'm feeling something very suspicious]

Riri hopped on the prince's broad back and wrapped his arms around his shoulders. Since he didn't want to be in trouble again, he quietly leaned his head on the man. 

Elric lifted him more and started walking through the pathway, following the moonlight. He will look left and right from time to time, hoping to see his knight that got separated from him a while ago. Who would have thought that he will find something after going into a night hunt. The prince wasn't scared after all. In fact, it's a challenge for him.

Only the rustling sounds from the dry leaves under their feet can be heard. It made Riri a little embarrassed. He moved his lips closer to the man and whispered. "T-Thank you"

Elric's lips curved into a small smile. He wanted to pat this thing on his back, but his hands were occupying something. "You shouldn't be here in the cold night, you're an Artemian" he said.

[Ehh? Artemian? What was that?]
